Drugged- part 2

GMDJPDOFDHWD (Nope, you've got me there) asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2195 "Drugged" where Snowing are coddling Emma when Charming gets her home and Snow finds out what happened.

Charming wasn't the only one who hated when he and Emma had to do undercover work. Snow hated it just as much. The worry, the uncertainty, the lack of contact. She stayed up all night if she had to until they were both home and she knew they were safe. Something she was very grateful that she did when Charming came in that night with a spaced out Emma in his arms.

"Charming! Emma!" Snow shouted, shocked. "What happened?" She asked, coming over as Charming lowered Emma onto the couch.

"Murphy slipped her a Mickey." Charming explained. "It's starting to wear off already, but it's clearly not had a good effect."

"Does she not need to go to hospital if she's been drugged?" Snow asked, deeply concerned.

"Guys." Emma complained. Her head was louping and she wanted nothing more than to sleep this off. "I don't need to go anywhere other than my bed."

"We'll have the hospital be the judge of that. Yes, hello. I'd like some information on whether I should bring my daughter in or not please." Emma groaned. She hadn't realised her dad was on the phone. She had barely gotten her head down on the couch when she felt something being thrown on top of her. She peaked her eyes open to see that her mom had thrown a blanket over her.

"You were shivering." Snow explained. "We can't have you getting cold. Now here," Snow tilted Emma's head up with one hand and pressed a glass to her lips with the other "small sips." Emma pulled her head away from her mom's hand and tried to take the glass.

"Mom, I can drink for myself." Emma sighed. Snow allowed the head thing to slide, but insisted on holding the glass. With Emma still shivering it would be all too easy for her to drop it and hurt herself." When Snow was satisfied Emma had consumed enough liquids (for now) she set the glass down and arranged the blanket so Emma was completely covered, as well as put a pillow under her head. Emma sighed, but her head was too sore to properly complain.

"The hospital said we don't have to take you in just now, but to keep a close eye on you and come straight in if anything serious starts happening." Charming explained. He wasn't completely satisfied with that. Wasn't it too late by then?

"Fabulous." Emma muttered. Her parents being told to keep a close eye on her was exactly what she needed. Sure enough, they got themselves settled near her. Her dad on a chair pulled up by her head and her mom actually lifting her feet and then placing them on her lap.

"Can't I go to my own bed?" Emma pleaded.

"No." Both parents said together.

"You heard your dad. We've to keep a close eye on you to make sure nothing goes wrong. So you're staying down here just now until you ride this out." Emma groaned, but was too exhausted now to put up a fuss. She closed her eyes to sleep, but found herself feeling very uncomfortable. She peeked her eyes open to, sure enough, find both her parents staring at her.

"Could you guys maybe, you know, not do that?" Emma asked. "It's creepy. I can't sleep with people staring at me."

"Fair enough." Charming relented. "But we aren't leaving."

"That much I had worked out." Emma grumbled moodily, turning onto her side and closing her eyes again. She appreciated her parents' concern, it was touching, even. But she still wanted a bit of space to be able to sleep this off.

Snow and Charming understood that Emma wanted some distance, they just hoped she understood why they were being so clingy. They didn't know all the ins and outs of what Murphy had slipped her. So until they were certain it was out of her system, she was just going to have to put up with them.
