QUICK WARNING - This one definitely has the grossest death involved. And for this one, I'm experimenting with having the bios be much longer! I will likely go back to previous chapters and make their bios longer too.
UPDATE 10/01/22: Made some minor fixes, and added a major change to Clem's backstory. I wish I thought of this earlier, but I don't consider it too late to retcon it now.

BIO
Clem and Billie Hayseed are identical twins, so identical that the only noticeable difference is that Billie wears her hair in a ponytail, as opposed to Clem who wears his freely. In fact, they are often mistaken for the other, as well as for being twin boys or twin girls instead of opposite gender twins. This is partially due to Clem being assigned-female-at-birth and named Clementine. They work as the plumbers and mechanics of the hotel, and by that, I mean that Clem does all the thinking while Billie does all the work.
They were born and raised in that 'HOO-WEE!' part of the world, which is obvious when you hear their thick Southern accents. They were the only twins in a family of ten other siblings, the rest of whom had minor birth defects thanks to their parents being brother and sister. Even as children, they showed talent in plumbing and mechanics, and even sorted out a system. Clem had all the smart ideas, while Billie had the energy to act them out.
As they grew up, they were closer to each other than bark on a tree. They did everything together, whether it was eating, washing, doing chores, playing banjos… and they still do to this day. A family heirloom (which had started in that one generation) was a rubber duck named Daphne, who wore a ruby necklace around her neck. She was given to Clem and Billie, much to the chagrin of their siblings who thought they were receiving favouritism for being twins.
Once they hit adulthood, they took on the challenge to upgrade their family outhouse. They managed to level it up from a barely-functional single-person shack to a full-on bathhouse that could hold multiple people at once. It was so impressive, in fact, that everyone from all around came by just to use it. Remember, this is back when indoor-plumbing was non-existent.
Tragedy struck when they were working on improving it further during a storm. The floor couldn't handle the pressure and collapsed while they were still on it. They were plunged into the human waste below. The fumes made them horribly dizzy, and the way out was out of reach. Clem allowed Billie to use him as a step-stool upwards, letting himself drown in the waste so she could escape. It was all for naught, as Billie drowned mere minutes after him. Their bodies were never fished out, by their heartbroken family or anyone else. Daphne the rubber duck is the only thing that remains of their massive family now.
Even in death, they remained together and refused to give up on their services. Since they spend so much time together, they often bicker like a married couple. Do NOT assume that they are married, however. Due to seeing the birth defects of their siblings, they can't bare the thought of doing anything like that. To make sure than no one has to suffer a horrific death like they did, they make sure that any plumbing system they work on is the best it can be.
Clem and Billie have a lot in common, but they aren't quite identical in personality. Clem is shockingly lazy, but quite brilliant when he's bothered to do stuff. Billie, on the other hand, has energy for days but is far from the brightest knife on the tree.
EXTRA NOTES
-Okay, seriously, don't even joke that they married each other. Before you ask, it isn't denial. They're honest people.
-Clem is the elder of the two by a few minutes. When Billie was born soon after him, she nearly died at birth thanks to the cord wrapping around her neck. The fact that she survived is a miracle, and is part of the reason why Clem can be rather protective over her.
-They took in the magical triplets, not as their daughters but as sisters, so they could prank the whole hotel together. Clem doesn't really seem to care that he's the only boy in this unofficial family.
-As stated prior, Clem and Billie were considered a pair of twin girls at birth, instead of brother-and-sister. Clem did not officially transition until after his death, hence why it's more irritating for him to be called Billie's sister while Billie doesn't care if she's called his brother.
-Their rubber duck collection is huge. They have a least a few hundred. Each of them have their own little costume and backstory. Some names of their ducks include: Daniel, Duchess, Déjà Vu, Dottie, Don, Donut, David, Dixie, Diddy, Donkey, Daisy (not to be confused with the princess), Debra, Derek, Declan, Debby, Dexter, Dino, Death, Devil, Dawg, Dollie, Dragon, Disco, Deedee, Della, Dipstick, Domino, Destiny, Ditto, Da Vinci, Diamond, Dumpling, Dove, Doug, Dante, Dizzy, Ditzy, Deena, Demma, Deema, Dakota, Dylan, Darry, Darth, Duskull, Driftloon, Dixon, Dora, Dang, Deli, DJ, Detoo, Dooku, Darcy, Diana, Dwight, Dingo, Dory, Debbie, Dutch, Donald, Drama, Drew, Doris, December, Dandy, Derek 2, Dusty, Dameron, Dogma, Doggie, Dipper, Daredevil, Daring-Do, Duke, Duncan, Denny, Diego, Donnie, David, Dianna, Delilah, Drake, Dugong, Dance, Driver, Dear, Drag, Doppler, Dingle, Daffodil, Dale, Darby, Daryl, Dawn, Delta, Dasher, Disney, Double-Trouble, Denmark, Denisha... I'm sure you get the point by now...
BEHIND THE SCENES
So, I think the obvious question is - why does Clem have a twin sister now? Because I wanted at least one OC in my story who wasn't just the common ghosts given an identity, and I felt like that in order to get the full 'redneck effect' there needs to be a family element. Think of famous cartoon southerners like Applejack or Cletus and their big families.
For the most part, they are meant to be as redneck as can be, both with positive and negative stereotypes. Of course, the whole 'they hate people thinking they married each other' thing is meant to be a big subversion of the 'married my sister' stereotype. The cause of their death was inspired by the Privy Disaster of 1904. Only read about it if you have a strong stomach.
By the way, I named about 101 ducks for no other reason than because I could, many of which were taken from the show 101 Dalmatian Street. Many of them (such as Deema, Dooku, and Daring Do) are references to various media.
UPDATE: The idea of Clem being a 'Clementine' at birth was thought up long after the story's completion, and I wish it had come to mind before. Since Clem and Billie are identical twins with different genders, I eventually figured that it would make sense if one of them was trans. My idea at first was for Billie to be MtF, perhaps to explain her somewhat masculine name, but then I realised it would be more interesting if Clem was FtM instead, since FtM representation is still far too rare in comparison.
