Drugged- part 3

A guest asked for a oneshot of a third and final instalment to Ch2212 "Drugged" where Murphy comes back to take Emma only to be stopped by her parents.

It didn't take long after the incident for Murphy to figure out it had been the Saviour that had been the girl with him. He had to admit, it was a good disguise. However, even though the Saviour didn't get the juicy details she had clearly been hoping for by getting in with him and his gang, she still knew too much. So much that Murphy felt like he had no other choice but to take her back and keep her for good. He wasn't going down for this. He was never going down.

Murphy and his gang planned out the kidnapping very carefully. They had someone trail both the Saviour and all her family so they knew their every move. People were so predictable. After a few weeks of careful analysis, Murphy knew that on a Thursday night, Emma babysat her little brother so her parents could spend some time alone. That was their one shot. However, what they hadn't planned for, was Charming forgetting his wallet, so having to come back to the apartment with Snow to grab it.

As soon as Snow and Charming neared their apartment they heard the scuffle that was taking place inside. They looked at each other quickly, alarmed. They then quickly burst through the door to the apartment. What they saw made both their hearts stop. There stood Murphy…holding their baby boy. Beside him were two of his cronies, with Emma's hands tied with cables behind her back. Murphy didn't look too happy to see them. Balancing Neal in one arm, he whipped out his gun and held it to Emma's head.

"So here's the thing, your daughter here knows way too much for my liking. So I'm gonna be taking her with me."

"Like Hell you are." Charming snarled, blocking the door.

"Oh yes, I am. That is unless you would rather we took the boy? Only we can get out the window with him. I'm a pretty good jumper." Murphy said coolly.

"Mom, dad, it's ok." Emma said calmly. She would get herself out of this as soon as her hands were free. "Let them take me without a fuss. It'll be less dangerous that way." Snow and Charming were about to tell Emma that of course they weren't going to just let some thugs take her away when, behind Murphy's back, she mouthed "I got this." Charming squeezed Snow's hand. It was a horrendous situation, but they had to trust Emma. "Ok, they're letting me leave with you." Emma said coldly. "So you're gonna put my brother down on that couch. They're going to move to the side and we'll leave here. Nobody has to get hurt." Murphy walked over to Emma and roughly took her chin in his hands, making her look at him. Snow had to hold Charming back from doing anything right now.

"I call the shots." He hissed, but put Neal down where Emma had told him and motioned for his men to leave. Snow and Charming stepped to the side, looking at Emma to give them any more indication of what her plan was, but Emma didn't look at them. If Murphy suspected foul play, someone could get hurt. So Snow and Charming were left waiting as Emma walked out with Murphy and his gang.

"What now?!" Charming asked. "We can't just leave her to-" But then they heard it. Yells. Very much manly yells. Snow and Charming looked at each other again. But before they could react, Emma was coming back through the door, unharmed.

"Dad, would you mind helping me drag their asses to the station?" She asked. But Charming didn't answer right away. Instead, both he and Snow pulled Emma into a tight hug. "I'm ok." Emma assured them. "It was all in hand."

"Maybe." Charming murmured into Emma's hair. "But it was still too close for comfort." Emma understood. She would have been the same had it been Henry. She just allowed her parents to hold her for a moment. For a moment, she would let them coddle her.
