Fighting Henry
Jade Star asked for a oneshot of *mid-season finale spoilers!* the dream version of Henry hell bent on getting revenge. Emma has no choice but to duel her own son. Henry seems to have gone to the dark side.
Thank you to Jade Star and the guest who asked for mid-season finale based prompts and remembered to give me a spoiler warning, it's appreciated :).
Now, what an episode! Wow! I, personally, loved it. What did you guys all think? And have you seen the promo for when they return? Aghhh! I wasn't mad thrilled with the person under the hood, but that could still change. And can I just say we now know it's canon that, had Emma been raised by her parents, she would have called them mommy and daddy. Any of you perhaps catch that? ;).
It took Emma a few minutes, but she eventually managed to pull Regina away from the dream world's version of Robin.
"Regina." Emma hissed, frustrated. "What are you doing! We've just missed our shot at getting home!"
"Well sorry that my dead boyfriend's appearance startled me." Regina snapped. Emma sighed. She could empathise with Regina. She didn't know how she'd react if Neal or Graham appeared here.
"I get that." Emma said calmly. "But Regina…I'm sorry…but this Robin isn't real. I wanted to believe this was my life. You want to believe that's your Robin, but he's not. We need to get home to reality…" Suddenly, a sword came whizzing by both their ears.
"Get away from my mother you murdering witch!" Came a furious roar. Emma and Regina turned, started. There stood Henry, the fury clear on his face. Emma and Regina both grimaced. This wasn't going to be easy. Emma stepped out in front of Regina as Henry approached.
"What are you doing?" Henry snapped at her. "Why are you protecting the woman who just murdered your parents!" Emma took Henry's face in her hands.
"This is hard to explain." Emma began. "But if anyone is going to understand, it's you, the truest believer. This isn't the Evil Queen. Not where we're from. She's changed. You have…" Emma smiled. "You have a great relationship with her." Henry pulled back from his mother.
"I don't know what she's done to fill your head with this nonsense. But it's not going to work on me. I'll avenge my grandparents if you won't. Step aside." Henry retrieved his sword from where it had lodged in the grass and aimed it at Regina. Emma sighed. She hated using magic on him, but needs must. With a wave of her hand, the sword disappeared. Henry was startled. So it had been her who had used magic back in the Evil Queen's castle.
"Listen to me." Emma pleaded. "You don't want to do this. I won't allow you to do this. Don't give into darkness." Henry stared at his mother darkly, in a way Emma had hoped she would never see on his face.
"If you won't let me kill her, then you're just as bad as her. And I will have to go through you too." Emma couldn't believe that she was hearing this coming from Henry. Her sweet, loving, Henry.
"I won't let you kill her." Emma said, defeated. Henry's eyes flashed with anger. He held his sword up to strike, Emma quickly reacted by moving her and Regina back to her castle, where Emma fell to her knees. This dream had quickly become a nightmare.
