Never admit- part 3
Lori asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2215 "Never admit- part 2" where Emma figures out what her parents have done and uses the tracker to get revenge. She has them running all over town thinking they're following her. As with all third instalments this will be the last in the miniseries.
Three days ago
Emma had only wanted to quickly check her emails. That's why she hadn't asked if her dad was doing anything important before jumping onto his computer at the station. Hers was already powered down for the day and it took so long to log back on. But when she went onto her dad's, she noticed a strange app running in the background. Curiosity got the better of her. She clicked on it, and a map popped up. It had a pin in the location she was in with a line above it saying "Emma's phone". Now it all made sense. They were able to know where she was because they had put a tracker on her phone. Well, two could play at that game.
The present
"She's on the move again?!" Snow asked, exasperated. "How is she moving so fast?"
"I have no idea." Charming said, once again putting the truck into gear. "But we'll track her down in the end and get some answers." Meanwhile, Snow directed him using her phone. Emma had left a note that morning saying she had some business to take care of. Neither parent liked the sound of that, so decided it was time to use the tracker again. It quickly became apparent that she hadn't gone to see George, which was at least something. Perhaps her time on desk duty was paying off. The problem was, they had absolutely no idea what her plan was. She seemed to be moving around town randomly, and at some speed. Her car was still parked outside when they left though, so they didn't know how she was moving so quickly. She wasn't disappearing in one spot and reappearing in the other, so she wasn't using her magic.
"Hold on." Snow said, now very confused. "This says that she's on the ocean! How can she be going at this speed? The Jolly Roger wouldn't go that fast." Charming was at a loss for words. He had no idea what Emma was doing. Just then, Snow got a text on her phone from Henry.
Ok, cat and mouse chase is over. Come meet me at the docks. Emma. Snow relayed the message to Charming. Both were wondering what Emma had been up to.
When they arrived, they found Emma standing alone. Well, she had an owl perched on a leather glove on her arm.
"What's going on?" Charming asked her. "Where have you been all day, and why have you got an owl? How did you know we were looking for you?" Emma smiled at them.
"This is Archimedes. He's been flying around town with my phone attached to his leg. You know, the phone with a tracker on it?" Snow and Charming looked back sheepishly. So she had found out. "I found it last week. Henry caved and told me he'd helped. You'll swiftly be deleting, isn't that correct?" Emma said with a raised eyebrow.
"Only if you promise to be honest with us when you're going somewhere dangerous." Charming replied, standing their ground. "You'd ask the same of Henry." He reminded her. Emma rolled her eyes and looked to the owl on her arm.
"What do you think bud? Think that sounds fair?" She waited a beat before looking back at her parents. "I think Archimedes is done testing Storybrooke's signal reception." Emma said, agreeing to their deal. She supposed it was only fair, they were right about Henry, after all. At least this way her secret nights out of the house would remain just that, secret.
