Chapter One: Unexpected
They say that life has a funny way of bringing people in and out of your lives. It is said that once you find someone that fascinates you that it's hard to get them out of your head. That could be further from the truth when it came to how Dabi thought. He never really allowed people into his life and with good reason. He just liked to be left alone regardless of his raising fame with the band he was in. He even tattooed his face to keep people away from him but for some reason the girls liked it. Dabi stared at his reflection in the mirror backstage, he looked over his skull tattoo on his bottom lip and jaw with a grunt. He lit up a cigarette with his light before sitting down in a chair, placing his feet on the counter. With a deep inhale he closed his tired blue eyes and exhaled the smokes slowly. It's been awhile since the band did a small gig in a grungy nightclub. They usually get booked at higher gigs but Dabi didn't mind too much. He would rather be here then some big wig's event. Less of a headache to deal with. He knew that his band partner Keigo didn't mind all the attention but Dabi liked to stay in the background. Too many cameras and interviewers in his face made him feel uneasy. Dabi rolled his eyes before taking another hit from his cigarette.
"Are you ready for tonight?" Keigo asked as he walked into the dressing room.
"Ready as I'll ever be..." Dabi exhaled the smoke with a grunt.
"You should be smoking on the roof. You know how I feel about smoke getting into my lungs before a gig." He sighed at Dabi.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say pretty boy." Dabi put out his cigarette before standing up.
"You are aware that we are having a guest during our performance?" Keigo sighed as he looked over at the cigarette.
"A guest? That's news to me." he shrugged at Keigo.
"Yeah, we are having a guest open up with us for the beginning." Keigo raised an eyebrow.
Always telling me shit last minute...
Keigo handed Dabi a piece of paper with the music notes and lyrics. He looked down at it with a frown, he didn't think he was going to take the spotlight from Keigo tonight.
"What is the chick's name?" Dabi asked as he looked over the paper.
"Her name is Cecilia and she is a singer that collabs with different bands every now and then." Keigo shrugged his shoulders. "I've met her before at a party and she's a quiet person. She keeps out of the spotlight because she's always working apparently. People love her voice."
"I have never heard of her."
Keigo looked at Dabi with a smirk and elbowed his arm. "She's also gorgeous as fuck. Big hips with a nice rack and ass. I tried to get her number once but she rejected me on the spot. Politely of course."
"I like her already if she rejected you that fast." he rolled his eyes at Keigo. "I'm not surprised if she's turned off by you. Fucking playboy."
"Hey! You make me seem like I'm a horny pervert."
"You are. Always have been." Dabi rolled his eyes again.
"That hurts." Keigo held into his chest with a sigh. "You know you have plenty of women that flock to you as well. The difference between you and I is that I don't reject them all."
"If someone isn't my type I don't bother, Keigo. Sex is boring if there's no connection." Dabi rolled his eyes.
"That my friend, is why you are boring."
"I'd rather be a boring man then someone who keeps getting into trouble with the manager. Keeps people the fuck away from me." he scoffed.
"The manager loves me and you know it." Keigo rolled his eyes.
"No, he fucking hates you for being a moron 99% of the time." Dabi blinked and pointed at Keigo. "Go ask Tomura or Toga. They will tell you the same shit."
"Why would I ask Tomura? Now HE hates me." Keigo shivered.
"With good reason." Tomura's voice came from the back of the room.
Keigo frowned at Dabi. "Because I got a girl's number that you were hitting on? My bad but it's not my fault she chose me. Plus she was a drag anyways. So YOU dodged a bullet."
"Fuck. You."
"I'll go smoke on the roof in peace." Dabi groaned as he sat up.
"We go on stage in 30 minutes, Dabi." Hawks rolled his eyes.
Dabi slammed the door to the dressing room on his way out. He bit his lip for a moment before he found the stairwell to go up stairs. He shoved his hands into his pocket and grunted to himself. It was a long hike up to the roof top and he wasn't particularly fond of it but if it kept him away from people's nagging so be it. Once he reached the top of the stairs he opened the door and his stomach felt like it had hit the floor. There was someone else on the roof and he rolled his eyes. So much for having a moment to himself. He looked at the woman, watching her long light green hair flowing in the wind. She looked over her shoulder at him, her dark pink eyes looked at him for a moment. She was wearing a white dress with matching heels, he couldn't stop staring at her. She gave him a wave to break him from his daze and he cleared his throat.
He looked back at her as he took a drag of the cigarette.
"What are you doing up here all by yourself?" Dabi asked as he blew out the smoke.
"I am just out here to clear my head." she answered in a soft voice. "I can leave if you want to be alone."
"No, it's fine. Do you mind if I smoke? If not, I can just put it out." Dabi pointed at the cigarette in his mouth and she gave him a smile.
"If you don't mind could you put it out?" she said timidly. "Smoke makes me sick."
Dabi lifted his shoe to put out his cigarette. "I can do that."
"Wow."
"What?" Dabi looked back at her and she was close to him. This startled him a bit as she moved in close to him.
"Your tattoos are gorgeous. Did it hurt to get it?"
Her thumb gently caressed against his tattoos on his face as she looked curiously. Dabi froze as her soft hands continued to move against his face tattoos and down his neck. He wasn't used to people touching him, it was odd. He cleared his throat for a moment before answering her question.
"Y-yeah, it was a bit difficult to sit through but I'm glad I got it." Dabi looked at her with a smile. "Keeps people away."
"I think they are stunning. The artist did an amazing job on it." her thumb rubbed against his bottom lip. "Are they all blue roses?"
"Y-yeah, a lot of my tattoos are blue roses, spiderwebs and skulls. I have more tattoos on my chest and arms. I don't show those off too much." he chuckled.
"Can I see? If you aren't too uncomfortable."
Dabi blinked. "Sure."
The woman gently opened up his leather jacket to get a better look at his chest tattoos. It was a skull in the middle of his chest with blue roses coming down his neck to the skull with spider webs. Her hands gently ran across the line work of the skull as she looked fascinated. Dabi stood still for her because he was still processing her sudden fascination. Not a lot of people were interested in his tattoos, only that they made him more attractive. Or so he has heard from other females. Her finger tips accidentally brushed up against his nipple piercing and Dabi pulled back a bit.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that." she giggled softly. "Your tattoos are beautiful."
He paused as he looked at her. "Um... thank you."
"You must be Dabi from the band performing tonight, right?" She pushed some of her hair behind her ear as she smiled at him. "I'm a fan of your work."
"Yes, I'm the guitarist and sometimes a backup singer for Hawks." Dabi nodded his head. "Are you here for the show?"
"Yeah, I am. It's my first time coming to this place." she nodded her head.
"I prefer this venue over anything bigger. I feel more relaxed in this environment." Dabi shrugged. "Hawks thinks I'm weird for thinking that."
"I don't think it's weird at all."
He couldn't help but smile at her. "You are a weird woman."
"You think so?" she laughed.
"Not everyone just comes up to someone and touches their tattoos." he laughed at her. "But you are cute so I'll let it slide."
"Normal is overrated anyways." she laughed softly.
Fuck, I want her number.
Before he could say another word his phone went off in his pocket. He frowned to himself as he pulled it out to look at a text message from Keigo to come back. He let out a sigh before shoving the phone back into his jacket pocket.
"Looks like I'm being summoned back. It was nice talking to you." he gave her a smirk. "I hope to see you during the performance."
"Definitely." she smiled at him.
"Oh, wait. I know this is forward of me but can I have your number?" Dabi asked as he held his phone out for her.
Her cheeks flustered. "M-my number? I guess I can give it to you."
Dabi handed her his phone so she could type down her number and for some reason he was nervous. He never went out of his way to get anyone's number. He rubbed the back of his neck with a chuckle as she handed him back his phone. They gave each other a wave goodbye before Dabi turned back to the stairs to head back down to the dressing room. He didn't expect to meet anyone on the rooftop but he was pleasantly surprised. She wasn't a crazy or star struck fan. Just a weird woman who was fascinated by his tattoos. Why did she treat him so nicely? He wasn't used to it unless someone wanted something from him but she felt genuine. He chuckled to himself as he reached the floor of the dressing room.
That's when it hit him.
I didn't get her name...
Fuck...

Long before the band moved to the stage, they had a quick meeting of what songs were in rotation and such. Dabi rolled his eyes as he looked around the room while Keigo went over everything. It was the usual set with a few new songs for the woman that would be joining them. Keigo let them all know of the after party being thrown at a hotel in town where they would be drinking and hanging out. It was the same shit as usual because after every concert they would have a party. Dabi didn't really care for them like the rest of the band. He would probably get to his hotel room and go to bed as soon as he got into the room. So far there was no sign of the woman that was opening the concert with them which he found odd. He bit his lip to play with his snake bite piercing for a moment.
The lights dim as they all got into their spots, Dabi placed the strap of his guitar over his shoulder and sighed to himself. Keigo moved over to the microphone while Tomura positioned himself at his drum set. Dabi looked over at Toga who was strapping the bass to her body and gave him a quick smile before he looked away. His heart steadied as he looked at the crowd of people, making him bite his lip to play with his snake bite. That's when he saw a woman walk on stage but since the light was shining so bright he could only see her outline. He squinted his eyes to adjust and his eyes widened because it was the woman from the roof. She looked over at Dabi with a bright smile and gave him a quick wave. Keigo motioned for Dabi to get closer toward her and him. Dabi stood between both Keigo and Cecilia at their own microphones. Slowly the music started to hum through the speakers, for some reason Dabi was nervous to be standing so close to her.
This was Cecilia that Keigo was talking about? Well he was right about one thing.
She was fucking gorgeous.
( *Song: "Waiting" by Not Forgotten* )
She held her microphone in her hand as she moved her hips back and forth.
'Open up my eyes. Seeing what's been broken.' Cecilia closed her eyes as her soft voice came through. Dabi's eyes were glued to her as the light shined on her for a moment. 'Wasting all this thing and now I know you'll never see.'
'This side of you that I know. It's been killing me far too long.' Keigo's voice was strong as he sang along with her. Dabi could hear Keigo trying to keep his voice from overpowering Cecilia. 'It's such a long way down from here.'
'All this time I've waited.' Cecilia's voice kept with the tempo of the music. Dabi would glance over at her, stealing her attention for a moment with a wink. 'Never seemed to change your mind. I'm pleading, do not be afraid.'
'Has all our time been wasted?' Dabi moved close to the microphone to belt out a scream on the last lyric. He heard Tomura going at it on his drums while he hit his mini guitar solo. He looked over toward her with a smile and Cecilia smiled back at him so brightly. He's never felt something like this in a performance before. He was actually enjoying himself for once.
'Sinking with each step. Scared of what might be next. For me in this game we've played for so long.' Keigo sang out as he took the microphone off the stand to get closer to the edge of the crowd. He knelt down to run his hand through the crowd of screaming fans.
'My instincts disappear, the only voice I hear.' Cecilia's voice made Dabi's body shiver as he played along with the tempo. 'Is telling me to run away from here.'
Dabi belted out another screaming snarl with the music as the crowd went wild.
'All this time I've waited. Never seemed to change your mind.' Keigo moved back towards Dabi and pressed his back up against him. Dabi continued to strum his guitar along with Tomura's drum tempo. He felt a hand slip against his chest as he continued to play his guitar and he looked up to see Cecilia.
'I'm pleading, do not be afraid.' she sang as she caressed his chest for a moment before turning back to the crowd. His body shivered at her touch, making him bite his lip as he watched her move away. 'Has all our time been wasted? No one left to blame.'
'Don't shut me out.'
Dabi passed by Keigo to play his guitar with a head bang without crashing into him.
'Don't shut me out and think it'll be okay.' Cecilia sang as Keigo walked around her with a smirk. 'I'll take this knife and bury it today.'
'All this time I've waited.' Keigo grabbed Cecilia's hand to pull her close as she sang. Dabi looked on with a scowl for a moment before continuing his playing. 'Never seemed to change your mind.'
'I'm pleading, no not be afraid.' Keigo looked back at the crowd as he sang out. Cecilia moved away from him with a smile before turning to look at Dabi. 'Has all our time been wasted?"
'No one left to blame.' she sang as she winked at him.
'Don't shut me out.' Dabi screamed out the last lyric into the microphone. Tomura's drumming got just as intense as Dabi's guitar. Toga's bass was not far behind as they all went along with one another. Dabi continued to belt out his last screaming note, he looked up at the crowd with a smirk. He felt the sweat forming on his brow but he headbanged with the music once more before they stopped. The night carried on with various sets of music by Keigo and some solos by Cecilia. Whatever they were doing it was making the crowd go nuts. Dabi would glance over at Cecilia every once and awhile to steal a smile from her. Why was he having so much fun on this gig? He never really enjoyed his playing since it started to bore him because of fake people. Usually he would perform and be done with it once the after party hit. This time Dabi was actually enjoying himself and even the rest of his band's company.
He wasn't used to any of this.
Was it because of her?
After a long time they finally had a break in between the show. The curtain fell before the band scurried off backstage to get their bearings. Dabi walked over to grab a cold water bottle from the table and drank from it. He looked back up out of breath as he ran his fingers through his white hair. A pair of hands gently grabbed onto his shoulders and felt a towel go across his back to wipe the beads of sweat. He stood still for a moment as he knew it was Cecilia behind him. He felt a towel rub against his back as he heard her humming to herself while wiping his back more.
"Thanks." he chuckled before turning back to her.
"No problem. You looked pretty sweaty out there while you were playing. Thought I'd give you a hand once we got a break." she moved the towel to dab against his forehead.
Dabi smirked as he leaned over to whisper into her ear. "You are quite sneaky, you know that right?"
"How so?" Cecilia giggled softly.
"You know exactly what. You never told me your name on the rooftop. I was surprised to see you walk on stage." he raised an eyebrow. "Sneaky mouse."
"Oh, but it was fun seeing your expression when you saw me." she gave him a playful wink.
Fuck.
Why am I so turned on by that?
"I'll remember that, little mouse."
She gave him a smirk. "Is that a promise?"
Oh my god.
Dabi's hand twitched as he looked at her with a chuckle. "Playing with fire, Cecilia."
What I wouldn't do to spank her ass right now.
"It's a good thing I like the heat." she stuck her tongue out at him.
Dabi looked around before quickly grabbing onto Cecilia's waist and moved her so they were behind a curtain. He gently pulled her so she was in front of him and he gave her a devious smirk. She looked back at him with a playfully pout before his face got close to hers.
"Listen to me little mouse. If we weren't busy with this concert I would take you here and now." he whispered softly as his blue eyes looked at her.
Her hands grabbed onto his hips for a moment. "Dabi, I'm not going to lie to you. I'm extremely attracted to you and I would take you up on that offer if we weren't working right now."
I want her so bad now.
"I was hoping you would say something like that." he grabbed onto her face with a chuckle. "So, you'll be coming to the after party?"
"I'll think about it." she bit her lip.
Dabi moved so his lips were near her ear. "You'll be a good girl and come to the party to be with me? Right?"
"Maybe." she cooed.
"Fuck, you are really testing me." he bit his lip as he moved his hand to grab onto her ass.
"It's fun to tease you, daddy." she whispered.
His entire shivered as the word came out of her mouth. "Cecilia, you can't say that to me. I won't be able to control myself..."
"As much fun as it is to tease you I will be there. Don't worry." she giggled softly before she walked away from him.
He watched her walk down the hallway until she disappeared around the corner. Everything in his body was fighting the urge to go after her and find a way to devour her. He took a deep shaky breath before stepping out of the curtain he was behind. Cecilia was pushing every button he had but he was too turned on to care. It was rare to find a woman that fueled his kinks and he couldn't wait to get her alone.
