What the two didn't realize when they left the lookout, was that during the brief altercation between Shadow and Skye, Megan hastily snuck into the trunk of the Urus. Her plan was simple, gain info about the two by placing cameras around their cabin that could possibly bring and end to the constant string of nuisance calls from local citizens. So far, the plan had worked out perfectly. She planned to stay hidden in the trunk of the car with some food and water she had brought with her until the night, where she would then place the devices and then make her way back to the lookout under the cover of darkness. It was now 11 at night, and all was quiet, the two were both sleeping, more than likely resting to wake up early in the morning and do whatever it was that they had been doing all along. She popped the trunk open and climbed out with all of the devices that were required for the plan to be carried out. At last she cautiously closed the trunk and dashed into the nearby woods to set up the various devices.
Meanwhile in the house, all was silent. With both Trevor and Shadow sleeping, it was possible to hear damn near anything in the surrounding area. Shadow was quietly resting for nearly an hour, but not fully asleep. Around 11:15, through the emptiness in the air, his ears perked up. He heard the faint sound of the Urus's trunk closing. Grabbing a black cloak he had, he got up and snuck outside. His mind began to think about the events that occurred prior to where he was at the moment. When himself and Trevor said goodbye to the patrol, there was a pup missing, that pup was Megan. "You gotta be fucking serious..." Shadow thought to himself. Piecing the events together, he thought that she must have hidden in the trunk until he heard it close mere minutes ago. He then picked up on a faint scent. It was a dog, female at that. "This has to be her..."
Megan was moving through the woods fairly quick. Although it was cloaked in darkness, the bright half moon provided guidance to some of the forest. She was nearly finished placing the cameras, with three of the five fully set up. They were set to start filming the next day at noon. As she set the fourth camera up, she thought she heard growling behind her. But, when she turned around, nothing but trees stood. The growling seemed to get progressively louder, and she then began to get worried. Did she get found out? Was someone or something actually there? Her mind was racing as she finished attaching the camera in place. This time, however, when she turned around, there was a figure standing over her. It was a dog, but looked as if it had a hoodie. All she could see inside of the hoodie though, was the end of a muzzle, some of the canine's teeth showing, and three scars over the dog's right eye. The scars were glowing green. She had nowhere to run. The figure lunged at her, and she began to scream. Her cries where quickly muffled, and she then felt a sharp pain in her head, as if something had hit her. Her strength left, she flopped onto the ground, where she dipped into unconsciousness.
