Snapping them out of it

Sorceress of Stories asked for a oneshot of Snowing being evil and Emma trying to snap them out of it by putting herself in danger.

"Why," Emma snarled, "is there always another flaming curse just as soon as everything seems sorted?" Just when everything seemed settled again in Storybrooke, yet another villain crawled out of the woodwork. Yet again another curse was brought upon Emma's parents, similar to the curse of shattered sight. This time, it swapped relationships around. Everyone they loved they hated and vice versa. So right now, they were gunning for Emma.

"Guys, stop!" Emma begged them. "You really don't want to do this! I know I can be a pain sometimes, but trust me, you'd regret this."

"We'd regret nothing." Snow smiled. "Storybrooke needs rid of the so-called Saviour. Storybrooke deserves better than a washed up Saviour."

"I think you'll find I'm exactly who Storybrooke deserves, just not the Saviour it needs right now." Emma said. Her parents continued to attack her. "Not Batman fans? No? Well alrighty then. Let's try this." Emma leapt out into the middle of the road. She raised her hand to the sky and created a storm above her. A lightning bolt struck the ground a few feet away from her. Then another a little closer, then again. Emma tensed as the bolts got closer, but this was her only hope of snapping her parents out of it. Emma thought she was going to have to give up on the plan, when the bolt the struck inches from her toes seemed to wake them up.

"Emma!" Both Snow and Charming called out. Emma called off the sudden storm and looked up at them both.

"Took you long enough." She said, relieved. She was just glad she hadn't been turned into a roast dinner.
