Author's Notes: For context, in Japan women give out chocolates on Valentine's, either personal ones to show interest or small ones as a token of friendship. Men reciprocate a month later on White Day. Since that isn't celebrated where I am, I'm posting it around Valentine's.

Valentine's day came and went. Chocolates, friendship and special, were handed out. A few lucky guys were left smiling, none more so than Midoriya (much to Bakugo's annoyance and Uraraka's undisguised glee).

Of course, there was gossip and teasing. There were hushed 'oohs' and 'aahs' as the guys blushed. Jiro and Mina nearly started a small war with each other over it. All things considered fair and standard by the admittedly skewed standards of 1-A.

No, nothing about Valentine's day stood out as particularly unusual.

After all, there was nothing at all unusual about Midoriya muttering and taking notes.

The sheets appeared a week before White day. Carefully and quietly delivered under the doors of a select few.

The first to find his was Kirishima, as he got up early to exercise. He picked it up, looked at it, and stopped. He did not get to exercise that morning, turning on his computer instead and doing research.

Todoroki puzzled over his sheet, looking it over carefully. Of course, his was a bit different from the others, with arrows pointing in different places. He placed a call to his sister that evening.

Kaminari practically wigged out, rushing into a hushed conference (not that he would have called it that) with the rest of the Bakusquad (much to Bakugo's irritation, and sans a certain member of the group). That was where it came out that more than just he was lucky enough to receive a letter.

Ojiro opened his and stared, knowing he would be taking a trip that weekend now that he had an idea.

Iida received one as well, much to his surprise, and went to speak with Midoriya about his options, as they were.

Finally, Mineta received a sheet as well, but his was filled with a blanket request to simply not give out chocolate, not even friendship chocolate, and that anything he did buy would be disposed of. It was signed by virtually every girl in the first year, not just those in 1-A.

And then it was White day. There was a certain level of anticipation from most of the girls. They had made their opinions clear, but it was time to see if their feelings were reciprocated. Or, at least, that's how Yaoyorozu put it.

Others were a bit less worried. Mina knew Kirishima, she'd known him for years. They'd been friends since middle school. They'd exchanged friendship chocolates for years. It was a little gag though, since they made their friendship chocolates special, just... a bit better than for their other friends. Neither of them had specifically said it was anything more than that. They were just good friends. So what if the friendship chocolates she'd given him rivaled the fancy chocolates the other girls had handed out to their crushes.

But walking into the common room in the morning, with most of the class milling around before class, Ashido couldn't help but notice that Kirishima was blushing hard when she entered the room. She knew she had to tease him for it so she walked up to him and put her hands on her hips, "Where's my chocolate Kirishima?"

It got everyone's attention, and Kirishima's cheeks colored to match his hair. He chuckled nervously, "I-I was gonna give them to you after class." He scratched the back of his head, but then shrugged, pulling out a package a bit bigger than he'd selected for the others. "Here."

Mina chuckled, taking it and ripping the wrapping off, "Let's see what you... got... me..." She trailed off as she looked inside.

Kirishima tensed, "Do you like it?"

"Ashido?" Uraraka asked.

"Pink chocolates." Ashido's voice was surprisingly soft, "I didn't think you would remember."

Kirishima chuckled, "Well, yeah, I mean-oof" He was cut off as Ashido, who had carefully put her chocolates down, threw herself into him, pulling him into a hug.

"Thank you."

His blush only redoubled, now exceeding the redness of his hair, "Hehe, yeah. I'm glad you like them."

The next special set of chocolate wasn't given until just after homeroom, after Aizawa left but before the first period began. Ashido was still crowing about the pink chocolates Kirishima had given her, having shown them to everyone in the class. She hadn't let anyone touch them (nor would she), but she made sure everyone knew all about them. As much to gently tease Kirishima as to let him know he'd picked the right thing.

It was honestly kind of intimidating. Not that Todoroki was, but a high bar had been set. And he wasn't exactly experienced with this.

"Is everything alright Todoroki?" Yaoyorozu asked, and he felt a burn that had nothing to do with his quirk.

"I'm fine." He said, probably a bit quickly, "How are you?"

She shrugged, something that really shouldn't look refined or elegant, but somehow did when she did it. How she could do that sort of thing had made up at least half of his conversations with Fuyumi (who teased him gently, in her opinion, or mercilessly in his).

That's why he had the box of chocolate in his bag, to give to her. He just had to make his move, and there was no time like the present.

"Hey Yaoyorozu," He said, so lost in thought he didn't notice he had cut her off. He swallowed his resolve, "I got you something."

Yaoyorozu blushed, "You did?"

He nodded and fished the subdued looking box out of his bag. The only adornment was a ribbon, but the moment Yaoyorozu saw it her eyes widened. "Can I open it?" She asked, nearly taking it before it was halfway to her.

"Sure."

No sooner had the word left his mouth than the ribbon had been removed and the lid lifted. Yaoyorozu blushed, "A selection of dark chocolates from Europe?" She gave him a beautiful smile, only accentuated by her blush, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He said, beginning to feel very warm.

"I'll save these for later," Yaoyorozu said and put the chocolates away. Todoroki nodded and turned back to the front of the class only to notice that Tokoyami was watching him. His bird-headed peer simply nodded and quickly turned back while Dark Shadow pulled away from Mineta who immediately gasped for air.

On a hunch, Todoroki glanced Satou's way just to see his muscled classmate studiously looking the other way. It was a relief, receiving unasked for privacy and quiet. The sensation lasted even after Present Mic burst into the classroom and asked who had received chocolates.

When Kaminari stood up, the rest of the Bakusquad, even Bakugo himself, turned to look at him. They'd all noticed he'd eaten his lunch much quicker than usual, and that he'd been unusually quiet. It wasn't until he grabbed the box of chocolates out of his bag that it was confirmed though. Intentional or not, Kaminari was about to make a show of giving out his White day candy.

"Wish me luck." He received a thumbs up from Kirishima and Sero, a grin from Mina, and an eye roll from Bakugo.

Walking across the lunchroom with a box of chocolates in hand wasn't a small gesture. There was something about being seen by strangers that made it stand out. It was public, even more so than when Mina had demanded hers. But he was confident. If nothing else, he knew that Kirishima's sheet had been right on the money. Mina still hadn't completely shut up about it, but at least she'd started eating it so she wasn't showing it off.

That confidence lasted until he made his final approach.

Jiro was sitting with Yaoyorozu, still eating lunch, with her back to him. It certainly made it easier for him, but then Yaoyorozu spotted him. Her eyes widened and grew flustered for just a second. She recovered quickly, resumed talking, but it was already too late. Jirou turned around and spotted him.

Walking towards her suddenly got a lot more difficult. He'd been planning on walking up behind her and putting the chocolates in front of her before she knew it was him behind her (he knew sneaking up on her was impossible, but he figured she wouldn't guess it was him if he kept his mouth shut). Now though, now she was watching him. Her eyes narrowed. His heart beat. His throat became incredibly dry. He could do this. He just had to-several hands shoved him from behind and stumbled forward, almost falling into Jiro. He looked back to see Sero, Mina, and Kirishima grinning at him.

"So…" Jiro drawled, and used an earphone jack to guide him back to look at her, "I'm guessing you have something for me then?"

He opened his mouth, and promptly forgot what he was going to say. He'd had a line! It was a good line, he knew it was! He'd practiced it! Why couldn't he remember it? The moment dragged, and as he watched her, Jiro's eyebrow inched up slightly. Oh hell. He closed his eyes and pulled the box of chocolates from behind his back. "Here!"

There was a tense moment where he felt everyone was watching him. Then she took the box and he felt like a puppet with its strings cut.

"You can open your eyes now." She said, and belatedly he did so, trying not to be a flustered wreck.

She put the box on the table and unwrapped it. Her face was completely unreadable for a long moment and fear swelled inside him. Was the note wrong? Had he been conned?

She picked out one of the chocolates and took a bite, chewed it thoughtfully, and nodded. She turned back to him with a blank look on her face and sighed, "I guess you do have a good sense of taste after all Kaminari."

Ojiro didn't know when to give his chocolates to Hagakure, but he knew what he didn't want: a spectacle. Sitting both in the front row of the class and not directly next to her he had been stymied. Giving them to her in the dorms didn't appeal, the gossips in 1-A would immediately know where he was going and with what and he just wasn't into that. But there weren't a lot of options left. In the end, out of sheer desperation and lack of ideas, he asked Iida for help.

The normally uptight class rep seemed very distracted, glancing around as they talked. Ojiro wasn't sure the target of Iida's affection was, but he wished the class rep luck, especially after Iida crafted a simple solution.

After that, all it took was a conversation with Shoji and he was set. Swapping cleaning assignments with his classmate was fine with him, he wouldn't have been irritated even if Shoji hadn't agreed to swap for a day the following week. His much taller classmate simply wished him luck, but at least waited to give the pretext that he, and not Ojiro, was going to be sticking around after class to clean.

After that, it was just manning up really. Hagakure seemed a bit surprised, but pleased when he pulled out his box of chocolates, gleefully admitting that he'd picked well getting her white chocolates since they were her favorite. He scratched the back of his head, quietly thanking whoever had slipped that sheet under her door.

Of course, that was when Mina revealed that she'd been hiding just outside the door, dragging Jiro into view as well, the latter shooting their pink classmate a sour look before explaining she'd been on hand in case something went wrong. Ojiro just scratched the back of his head as Hagakure showed off his gift just as enthusiastically as Mina had.

He stood back and let her be the center of attention.

There was no special sendup for Ochako. Oh, Izuku gave her chocolate, he wasn't dumb, but they'd made things official before even Valentine's. So it wasn't a need for a fancy display.

That wasn't to say there wasn't a display. It was just private.

Ochako still found all the All Mights a little much if she were to be completely honest, but it wasn't that off-putting. And she could ignore them as Izuku put the finishing touches on the pork katsudon he'd been making. He'd borrowed an induction cooker so he could cook for her alone, and she could already tell she was going to enjoy the meal.

"It was really nice what you did for everyone." She said as he plated out her dish.

"Hmm?" He looked at her, a bead of sweat that had nothing to do with cooking forming on his brow, "W-what do you mean?"

She smirked, "You don't think we all missed how everyone got their favorite chocolates? I remember you collecting the sheets at the end of that test, and so do the rest of the girls."

"I was just paying attention on Valentine's day." He murmured, blushing profusely, "Everyone deserves to feel special if they've put themselves out on a limb."

Ochako nodded and took a bite. She wondered if he had any practice, he certainly had the basics down. She noticed him watching, a sweatdrop forming on his brow. "Mmm…" She played it up, "It's good." He let out the breath he'd been holding, and they tucked in.

The meal was mostly quiet. Izuku seemed very pleased with himself about how well he'd cooked it, admitting it wasn't as good as Lunch Rush's or his mom's, but she let him know she was impressed that he'd cooked at all. And he'd done a very good job. Hearing that made his ears go pink which she thought looked very cute.

She was a little surprised that he pulled out his phone before they finished their meal, but he put it away after sending a text and spent the rest of the meal focused entirely on her.

It wasn't until shortly after they'd finished eating when she learned what his text had been about. Someone knocked on his door and he jumped up, giving her a quick signal to wait a moment before rushing to get it.

He opened the door to reveal Satou, the taller student visible over Izuku's shoulders. To her surprise, he was even dressed up to look like a waiter from a fancy restaurant. He nodded towards her and offered a bashful smile, "Hello Uraraka, sorry for interrupting."

"That's okay. Is everything alright?"

"Just dropping something off. Have a good night." He backed away and Midoriya closed his door, his free hand holding a tray with a large covered dish on top. Uraraka took a breath, mouth beginning to water. She'd enjoyed Midoriya's cooking, but Satou's baking was something else entirely.

"What is it?" She asked as he placed it down between them.

He lifted the metal cloche revealing a dome of chocolate cake. It looked refined, dusted with powdered sugar, and was topped with a strawberry. Izuku looked at her and grinned, "I want you to take the first bite."

She didn't hesitate, taking a clean fork and knife from the tray and cutting out a slice. It was odd, easy to cut through but suddenly resisting almost midway through. The moment she tried to pull out her slice she saw why as milk chocolate spilled from inside. She blinked and looked up at Izuku who was smiling.

"It's called a chocolate lava cake." He said, "I had Satou fill the inside with your favorite chocolate, melted down."

It was Uraraka's turn to blush.

White Day came and went before Mei Hatsume even realized it. It would have been a disappointment the day of, had she realized it. Outside of her inventions, one of her true passions was chocolate, but none of her classmates had stopped by to give her any, possibly because her space in the design lab was cordoned off by warning tape and blast doors.

It wasn't until the day after that she realized it, and even then it was only because she was reaching for a wrench and instead found a box. In her sleep-deprived state (her lack of sleep was rivaled only by Shinso from general studies, and unlike her, he had no choice in the matter) she picked it up and tried to use it anyway until her brain caught up to her.

She almost tossed the box away until she saw her name on an envelope taped to it. She blinked and puzzled over it before slipping out from underneath her newest baby to get a better look. The writing was fine, bordering on ornate, and she was careful not to smudge it as she yanked the envelope off and opened it.

The card inside was no less finely written. "To Hatsume," She read aloud to no one in particular, "Please consider this box of chocolates as payment to stay far away from me. Sincerely, Tenya Iida (the person who you humiliated during the sports festival and who you tried to put arm rockets on)."

"Huh." She paused, trying and failing to remember who that was, then she shrugged, cast the note aside, and opened up the box of chocolates.

Author's notes: I have been waiting to post this. I didn't want to drop it on Valentine's itself because, well, I expect a flood, but I figured I'd toss it up around the day. I looked back at Analytics chapter 6 and regret that I seemed to have cut a line. Originally this chapter was supposed to be hinted at in that chapter by having Midoriya collect the sheets. I was even going to say that no one mentioned it before I went back and reread it. Ah well.

Why was Satou dressed up as a waiter? Well, a bit of cut content: that lava cake wasn't the only dessert he made for Valentine's. Midoriya talked him into meeting with several business course students and he was selling baked goods. It just didn't feel right having him explain it during the middle of Midoriya and Uraraka's date. I *might* write a story about that, but I'm less certain than about other ideas I've had.

Why wasn't Tsuyu in the story? Because I generally don't ship her with anyone. I figure she got friendship chocolate from Uraraka on Valentine's, but the only guy she would have received unsolicited chocolates from would have been from Mineta and her name was near the top of the sheet he received.

Finally, wasn't Jirou supposed to be a disaster bi in this series? Yes, yes she is. Kaminari and Yaoyorozu put her in a bind here though.
