Jealousy- part 2
A guest asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2243 "Jealousy" where the tables are turned on Snow with Emma and Neal preferring Regina's company.
Happy Christmas Eve Eve everyone ;)
Charming couldn't help but chuckle as he observed Snow, dusting as she muttered under her breath. Snow looked up at him with such ferocity that Charming made an effort to stifle his chuckles, but the look itself made him want to laugh even more.
"It's not funny." She grumbled.
"Maybe not, but it is poetic justice." He told her. Snow raised an eyebrow, daring him to explain.
"Well, a few months ago you were trying to make me feel better about Neal wanting to spend all his time with Killian. Now Emma's getting magic lessons off Regina and Neal's wanting to tag along because he thinks it's cool. Now you're feeling left out, and, dare I say it, jealous of your step mother." Charming deduced. Snow's cheeks turned pink with embarrassment.
"I- I'm not jealous." She spluttered. "I'm just…frustrated that anything I've got in to do activities with Neal goes to waste. Or any food I buy when Emma calls up at the last minute to say they're eating at Regina's." Snow lied. Charming could tell she was lying, she had never been very good at it. Not with him, anyway. He got up and came over to her. He took the duster out of her hand and put it on the table, wrapping his arms around her. He smiled knowingly down at her.
"Snow, you are practically turning green." He told her. Snow avoided his gaze, feeling silly. "Oh, it's alright. Like I said, I was the same when it was Killian. It'll pass, you were right about that. Just give it time. Emma won't need many more lessons. Then Neal won't want to go round to see all the multi-coloured sparks. You'll have your babies back soon." He promised her. Snow huffed. Not soon enough.
