Surnames

Gust asked for a oneshot of Emma doing something really risky and Charming calling her Emma Ruth Swan-Blanchard-Nolan.

"Is this really necessary?" Charming asked, clinging to his seat for dear life.

"You'll bet it is." Emma responded, and Charming was sure she sped up a little just to spite him. "The store closes in fifteen minutes, and you know what mom's like if she can't have parmesan with her pasta. We've gotta hustle." Charming didn't respond. He just began to pray that the lived to see the pasta.

Emma groaned when the light changed from green to amber. She knew they were pretty far away and should stop at the line before it changed to red, but that would slow them down. So once again, she put her foot down. Just as the lights were turning to red, Emma zoomed over the line. Charming couldn't believe she would do something so foolish. She could have gotten them both killed!

"Emma Ruth Swan-Blanchard-Nolan!" He cried out, flustered. "That was incredibly reckless!" Emma knew she was meant to be apologising for such a bold move, but she couldn't help but feel amused by her dad's inability to pick a surname for her. She arched an eyebrow at him, a small smile picking up the corner of her mouth.

"Swan-Blanchard-Nolan, huh?" She quizzed him. "Sure you don't want to throw in Princess of the Enchanted Forest while you're at it?" She teased him. Charming was far from amused.

"I only said that because it's hard to pick one surname for you when so many fit. The point is, that was a silly thing to do. Your mom can live without her cheese far more than she can live without us, I'd imagine. I'll drive us home. No arguments." Emma didn't put up a fuss. She was too busy chuckling to herself. That was certainly a name that would take more than the usual space on forms.
