I'm bored. Here's a new chapter.
Lloyd's POV
Jay came back from showing Eve and Abel their room. He sat down in his chair.
"Does Abel seem a little...Familiar to you?" Jay fidgeted with his thumbs.
"He does," Nya agreed. "He reminds me of...You know who."
"I sense that they have elemental powers," Sensei Wu said.
"Wait," Kai said, brow furrowed. "What?"
"I myself did not believe at first," Sensei said. "But they Smoke Spirits thought otherwise."
"So, you're telling us," Cole said slowly. "that we have two homeless kids who don't know they have elemental powers in our house."
"That's putting it pretty bluntly, but yeah," I said.
"Do you know what elementals they are?" Jay asked.
"I am not sure," Sensei said.
"But then how are we gonna train them if we don't know their elemental power?" Jay complained.
"We'll just have to teach them," I said. "There's not much else we can do." Suddenly, a book came out of nowhere, hit Jay in the head before bouncing off of Kai's nose, hitting Cole's lip before hitting me in the chest.
"Ow!" Kai's hands flew up to his nose. I looked at the open doorway and saw Eve standing there, looking rather grumpy. Her hand was still outstretched from throwing the book. She signed something to Jay before walking away (Oof that rhymed).
"What did she say?" Cole asked, voice muffled because he was holding his lip.
"She said we were being too loud," Jay said. "and that they can't sleep."
"Where the heck did they get this book from?" Nya picked it up. "I've never seen this book before."
"Who cares?" Kai asked. "Let's go take care of our 'battle' wounds." He stood up and walked to the bathroom, no doubt to get something for his nose. Cole soon followed. Everest perched on an open window, and she seemed to be mocking us.
"What are you looking at?" Jay demanded. She hooted ("She laughed at us!" Jay insisted) and flew away.
"Let's call it a night," I said and stood up. Something tells me that there's more to Eve and Abel that meets the eye.
