I'm in a good mood today! So what do I do? I update!
Lloyd's POV
I opened my eyes and got out of bed. 6:45. Meh. At least Sensei didn't wake us up at the crack of dawn. I got dressed and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. What I did not expect was a bunch of hand drawn pictures on the walls and a meal already ready. Eve and Abel were still eating when I came in. They waved to me. Strange, this smells exactly like Zane's...
"Good morning," I said. They smiled and signed back Good morning. Last night, Jay had taught us some sign language so we could understand them.
"Did you make this?" I asked.
Yes Abel signed.
"How old are you again?"
Fifteen.
"You shouldn't be using the stove, then."
Right. And Cole shouldn't be allowed in the kitchen, yet you let him cook anyways Eve signed sarcastically.
"True."
"Lloyd?" I turned to see the others standing sleepily by the door. "What's going on?"
"We were just discussing this lovely meal Abel and Eve made for us," I gestured to the food. They stared at it dumbfounded.
"How old are they again?" Jay asked slowly.
"They said they were fifteen," I said.
"And they used knives and the stove?" Nya shook her head.
"I said they same thing. They replied by saying sarcastically that Cole shouldn't be allowed in the kitchen but we let him in anyways."
"Hey!" Cole protested. Then his face broke out into a grin and we all started laughing. Eve squinted at us and looked away. Abel kept a straight face. They got up and left.
"Oh, jeez," Kai wheezed (Oof that rhymed). "So true. So true."
"Where did they go?" Cole looked around.
"I don't know," I said. "Let's eat first." We scarfed down the food (It taste just like Zane's, Jay sighed) I heard something outside and left, the others following me. I peaked outside to see Eve and Abel sparring, fist against fist. Abel flipped over Eve, who quickly turned around and jumped back. I pulled my head back inside.
"Dang," Jay whistled. "They're good." We looked outside again, but they had disappeared.
"What?" Nya said. "How did they just disappear?" Then, all of a sudden they flipped upside down from the roof.
(Now, dear reader, they'd like to tell you that they glared at them and yelled at them to get down. The truth? They screamed like little girls and crashed into each other.
Yeah, not very heroic.)
You okay? Abel signed. How is he doing this upside down?
"Jeez," Kai clutched his chest, taking deep breaths. "Um...Well...Just...Just get down." They flipped down smoothly. They hadn't even broken a sweat.
What do you want? Eve signed.
"Show offs," Jay grumbled, receiving him a sharp jab by Cole's elbow. "Ow!"
"Can it, Motor Mouth," Cole half smiled. The others snickered. I noticed Abel's face had a small shadow, and he looked as if he was trying to remember something. Then everything went back to normal.
"You wanna play some video games?" I asked as I grabbed Abel's hands. Then I quickly let go. "Jeez! Your hands are freezing!" Abel quickly signed sorry before clasping his hands behind his back and rocking back and forth on his heels. Frost began to form around his feet, and the warmth decreased around Abel.
"Well, we know what Elemental Abel is," Kai said. "Now we just need to figure out Eve's."
Where is P.I.X.A.L? Abel signed.
"What? Oh, she, uh, left with Misako and Wu (Kind of forgot she existed. Don't hate me!) to try and track down our friend," Cole said. "Wait, where's Eve?" We looked around, but she was no where in sight. Abel rolled his eyes. I felt someone tug on my sleeve, and I turned around.
(Again, dear reader, Lloyd screamed like a 3-year old girl)
"Eve!" I gasped. "You can't just do that!"
Why?
"Because you scared me to First Spinjitzu Master knows what!"
Why?
"Because-" I stopped mid sentence. She had a small smirk on her face. "Just don't do that." She held out her palm and a small fire danced in it. Then lightning was crackling at her fingertips, then an orb of water hovered over her hand. The ground shook, and a small energy orb formed on her palm.
"What?" we all gasped. Abel seemed unaffected, but her probably was shocked too.
Amber Eve signed.
"Well, that explains it," Jay said.
"Well, we know what their Elemental Powers are now," I said. "So let's go train them."
Lloyd: Jeez. Abel acts so much like Zane.
Me and Eve: *Exchange glances*
Me: Really. YoU DoN'T SaY.
