Ana P.O.V
The noise of my alarm clock is really starting to get on my nerves! I hate waking up. I roughly pressed the annoying sound of, reading the numbers telling me it was way too early to be getting up.
"Really...! 6:30?" I grumbled. Deciding to ignore my responsibilities today, I rolled over onto my other side, away from the alarm clock, and pulled my blanket up around myself tightly. Ah, peace.
Knock knock. "Ana? Are you awake honey?"
"No..." Please go away. I heard the door slowly opening, and my moms footsteps getting louder and closer towards the foot of my bed. "I don't want to get up yet... five more minutes, please?" I begged.
"You need to get up sweetheart, everything is kicking off at noon." She reminded me.
My eyes slowly opened, oh yeah, it's wedding day today. Damn it. Guess those extra few hours are not happening today like I had thought. I stirred, turning onto my back and looking up at the ceiling. Do I have to? I groaned before, rather slowly, pushing my blanket down and off me. Sitting up, I swung my legs over the side of the bed and shoved my feet into the slippers sitting there.
"I'll be downstairs. Lorraine, the hairdresser will be here in an hour, and the make-up artist around half 9. Get showered and downstairs quickly please, honey." And off she went. She seems so calm for a woman about to be married, but I guess if I was on wedding number 4 or 5, I wouldn't be overly fussed. Been there down that type of attitude.
Rubbing my eyes, I walked towards my dresser for underwear and then the bathroom, grabbing towels on my way.
Maybe it's the tiredness, but I'm really not all that excited about today. It just feels like another day, nothing majorly special. Just another wedding to add to the list. I'm happy for mom, I really am, but I'm more excited to see Christian later than I am to be my mothers maid of honour.
After about 20 minutes in the shower, I unwillingly got out of the steaming hot water, wrapping a large warm towel around myself. Looking in the mirror, my skin was all red from the heat, and my fingers a little wrinkly. Nope, definitely not feeling it today.
I made my way down the stairs, just in time for the hairdresser to arrive. "A little bit of enthusiasm wouldn't kill you, would it Ana?"
"I'm sorry mom, I'm just a little off today." I sighed, sitting down on the chair for Lorraine.
"Is everything ok?" She asked, concern etched on her face.
I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, fine. Just one of those days I guess. So, what way are you dolling me up this time?"
It took a total of five hours for all of us to get ready. The make-up artist, Maisy, had a breakdown claiming moms make-up was just not working. Mom insisted it was fine but Maisy disagreed. Currently we were pulling up to the church in the black hummer limo. Pretty.
"Isn't it supposed to be the bride going crazy over things like the perfection of the make-up?" I laughed.
"She's just... a little bit of a perfectionist I guess." Mom grinned.
It was mom, myself and her three bridesmaids in the limo. Her sister, Connie, and her two best friends, Lousie and Allison. We were all having a giggle over Maisy and her meltdown. "She took on the bridezilla act for you Carla." Alisson laughed.
"Guys, come on, she meant well."
"Yeah but save your OCD for some other time." I laughed. "I thought she was going to pop a vein to be honest." Louise was having a laughing fit in the corner, whilst trying to recreate Maisy throwing her brushes everywhere.
We slowly pulled to a stop outside the church, and a young usher opened the car door for us.

Have fun today, thinking of you x
I grinned from ear to ear. "Ana? What's got you grinning like that?"
"Nothing, mom. Just a friend from school. She was telling me to have fun and wishing you good luck."
"That was sweet of her."

Thank you : ) cant wait 2 see U later x
"Ana, sweetie." I turned just as mom walked into her little private room to wait on her cue.
"Dad! Hey, you actually came?" I smiled and hugged him tightly. "I'm so happy you're here, do you want to see mom?" He smiled, and nodded.
"Off course I came. Wouldn't miss it." He followed me through the dark wooden doors. "Carla, you look... I mean. Stunning."
"Ray, woah. I wasn't actually thinking you would show."
"Why does everyone say that?" He laughed, and gave her a hug. I smiled fondly, remembering the 'good old days.'
"I'm sorry, I just meant... I mean you didn't turn up to my last wedding."
"I'm past that now Carla, in fact I want you to meet someone... Carla, this is Jane. My girlfriend." Wait, he brought Jane... and there she is.
"Carla, hi. It's so nice to finally meet you. Ray has told me so much about you." She hugged her lightly, mom seemed to be a little uncomfortable.
"Dad, why did you bring Jane, isn't that a little weird? Bringing your new girlfriend to your ex-wife new wedding?" I whispered.
"You think? I mean your mom and I have been on great terms recently." Hmm... I'm not so sure.
Right on the awkward cue, my granddad walked in, and stopped dead when he seen mom. "Aw, Carla honey, you look amazing!"

Me too, I'll pick you up around 7? X
Ana Steele 11:58
Sounds good x
"Dad, please." Mom blushed.
"Time to go sweetheart." She took a deep breath and walked slowly past us to take her place.
"Ok ladies, lets go. Your groomsmen are waiting for you." We went and lined up in our order and started to walk when we heard the wedding march. My groomsmen was Bobs song from his first marriage. A 20 something, short, brown haired man with glasses and a serious brainiac. He was a nerdy type of cute. The rest of the bridesmaids followed suit, lining up one behind the other facing Bob.
Moms song came on, and here she came. She really did look beautiful. She wore a long, floor length dress. Slightly form fitting but classy with a small train flowing behind her. It had a stunning V shaped lace around her chest, and small diamonds, or maybe they were crystals, running around the edge of the lace. She looked incredible. Carrying a bouquet of flowers, her flower child walked a few feet in front of her.
She met Bob at the altar, smiling from ear to ear. Now that I'm here, I couldn't be happier for her. She deserves happiness, and I really think Bob is the one to give it to her...
"Carla, that was a beautiful wedding." The reception was being held at the house, and I can honestly say I don't think there has ever been this many people in the house at once. Kate was here, with Jose and Ethan. Mom has officially been married for five and a half hours, and seemed to be loving every moment. It's nice to see her so happy.
I was sitting on the sofa with the group. "Your mom looks stunning Ana, seriously. That dress!" Kate gushed. She's a sucker for all this romantic stuff.
"Yeah, she really does, doesn't she?"
"Anyone want a drink?"
"Coke please, Jose." He nodded and walked off towards the kitchen. "So, how's it going with Chris?" Kate asked.
"Who's Chris?" Ethan asked.
"It's Christian, and yeah things are actually ok... I think."
"Seriously, who are we talking about?"
"Ana has a boyfriend." Kate sang.
"Shush would ya. I don't want mom or anyone knowing yet. I'm so not ready for that right now."
"A boyfriend...? Since when?"
"Not long, few weeks at most." I don't like being asked about him... I feel like I shouldn't be telling anyone. Last thing we need is it getting around I'm dating some guy who happens to have the same name as the new hot English teacher that everyone wants. Combine that with some obvious chemistry between us, it wouldn't be long before people connect the dots. "I really don't want anyone knowing though Ethan, so please. Don't make it news to anyone." I begged.
"I mean sure, but why didn't you tell me?" He looked a little hurt. I shrugged.
"I'm sorry E, I just... it's really new. Kate only knows because she was there when I met him, and Jose too." People were finally starting to leave. It's been a long day. "Nothing personal, you know that."
"Yeah, I guess." Jose walked back in, two drinks in his hand, he handed the coke to me. "Listen I should probably go..." he downed the last of his own drink, getting up.
"Ethan, I don't want to go yet."
"Well I do, so get your own lift or come on." he snapped at Kate, her eyes going wide. He stood up and walked away towards the door.
"Wait here a moment..." I got up and went after him. "E, wait! Ethan?"
He stopped just as his hand touched the door handle, not turning to look at me. "I'm tired Ana."
"Hey, look at me. What's going on here?" I placed my hand on his shoulder, lightly tugging to turn him around. He turned reluctantly, eyes down.
"I just... I've known you my whole life Ana, I want you to be careful. You're like a baby sister, and I don't like my baby sister dating." He smiled weakly.
"Ethan, I'll be fine. He's just a boyfriend... don't be marrying me off already." I laughed, lightly smacking his arm.
"Yeah, I guess. Look I'm still going to head home here, work to do and all. Tell Kate I'll come back for her later if she really wants to stay."
"Sure." I hugged him tight. I don't want him mad, or upset with me. He kissed me on the cheek and walked out of the door.
"Everything ok?" Kate came out to meet me with Jose close behind her.
"Yeah, he's just a bit worried. Like a baby sister he said, so I guess I understand in that way."
"Well, at least one of us gets his worried big brother talk." She laughed.
"Maybe he should be worried."
"Jose, please don't start this again. You won't change my mind, you know that." I sighed.
"Yeah, I know." He looked down and then walked off. I threw my hands up in frustration.
"I can't win."
"Aw baby girl." She laughed, hugging me. "Life is hard. Come on let's go see if we can steal some booze." She led me off towards Bobs private stash.
"How do you where he keeps it?"
"Every adult seems to keep their stash in the cupboard." She laughed. "Play watcher there will ya?" I turned and looked for any parental units, while Kate made her way through the alcohol.
"Perfect, vodka."
"Kate! No!" I reprimanded.
"Come on!" She laughed grabbing it and my hand, pulling me upstairs. "Live a little will you?"
She pulled me into my room. "Kate, we really shouldn't be drinking this. Bob will go mad if he finds out." Ignoring me, she sat on my bed, opening the bottle. Giving me a sly grin, she took a swig out of the bottle. "Kate, easy! Ethan has to pick you up late and how will I explain to everyone why you are wasted?"
"I won't get wasted, here." She held the bottle out towards me. I looked at it... it did look tempting. "Go on, you know you want to... Afraid your boyfriend will get mad you had a drink?" She teased.
I narrowed my eyes in mock anger. "Give me that!" I took the bottle out of her hand, taking a large gulp. The liquid stinging on the way down, making me regret my decision momentarily. Shutting my eyes as tight as I could, I started shaking my head trying to rid my mouth of the taste. "Why? Why do people do this to themselves?" I laughed, handing it back to Kate and taking a seat.
About an hour later, downstairs had gone pretty quiet. I guess most people have went home, including Jose who text me five minutes after we came up here, that he wasn't feeling great and had to go home. Kate and I had only a few shots worth of vodka left in what was a full bottle.
Laughing uncontrollably over childhood memories. "Remember that time... when Eth... Ethan tripped o...over that old l...lady and her trolley!" Kate hiccupped.
"And he cried for hours... because your m...mom made him a...apologise!" I finished.
Ring. What's that?
"He was so scared to say anything..." her eyes were watering now.
Ring. "My phone... Kate."
"I still hold that against..." hiccup "...him!"
"Kate..." I laughed "...my phone. Where is it?" I laughed, pushing her gently.
Ring.
"Get up, would ya." She rolled over, still laughing at her own story.
Ring.
Christian Grey calling...
"Shit!" Kate turned back to me, eyes closed and sleepy looking. She hummed at me in a questioning way. "Christian..." I laughed. "I was meant to..." hiccup "...meet him like half an hour ago."
"Oh lover boy is calling." she giggled.
"Christian hey..." I shushed Kate who was crawling towards me, laughing."
"Ana, where the hell are you? You were meant to meet me 45 minutes ago, and you were answering me... I was worried." he was rambling... he's cute when he rambled. He's always cute.
"I'm sorry, I..." hiccup "...got distracted. With Kate."
"Lemme talk to Mr. Grey!" She reached for the phone, I swatted her hand away.
"Stop Kate."
"Ana, is everything ok? Is Kate there... does she know about us?" oops... he sounds panicked.
"I mean... yeah." I laughed.
"Mr. Grey... can I get, umm, an A plus plus plus plus on my essay..."
"Kate, seriously." I pushed at her.
"Opps sorry... I meant please may I have an A plus plus plus plus..."
"Kate, shut up!" I laughed.
"Are you drunk?"
"Maybe..."
I heard him take a deep breath. Opps. I think I made him mad. No red room of pain for me! Is that a good thing? I think I like Christian in there... fun.
"Are you at home?" He asked, scarily calm.
"Um, yeah. I'll come meet you now..."
"No!" he shouted.
"No... don't leave me. I had her first Mr!" Kate yelled into the phone.
"Just... stay where you are... I'll talk to you tomorrow about this. Trust me, we will talk about it!" and just like that he hung up the phone. Definitely mad.
I brought the phone away from my ear and looked at it. "I think I made him mad!" I giggled.
"Ohh... after school detention for you missy!" she mumbled. I think she's drained.
Two minutes later she was snoring. Sleep... sleep seems good right now.
I lay down next to her and dozed off.
Cough cough.
I slowly opened my eyes. Ow, my head.
"Ana!" I jolted up, my mom and Bob standing in front of me. "What on earth is going on here?"
I looked around... Kate still passed out beside me. "Um... good question." I rubbed my sore head and sat up. My foot knocked against something, knocking it over. I looked down to see an empty vodka bottle. "... Oh no."
"Oh yes. What were you thinking?"
"I wasn't." She just looked at me. "Thinking, I mean... we only intended on have a small drink each... I didn't think we would finish the whole bottle..." Damn it...
"Well you did... get Kate woke up and a lift home. We will talk about this after school." they both walked out. Damn!
"Kate... Kate wake up..." I shook her lightly. She hummed in protest. "Kate seriously..."
She mumbled something like go away. I shook her again, harder this time. "No, mom."
"Kate, it's not your mom. We got drunk last night... you stayed at mine."
She shot awake, much like I did when mom came in. "What? Shit..." She looked at her phone. "Fuck... 15 missed called from mom and three from Ethan."
I looked at mine, 7 from Ethan and a few messages.
Ethan 23:56

Ethan 00:39

Ethan 03:12

Kate was already up and looking for her shoes. "Ethan came by last night."
"What? When? Why didn't he take me home?"
"I dunno... maybe seen the state we were in and decided to leave you here..."
"I gotta go... see you at school later... if I haven't been killed."
We said our goodbyes and I went to get a shower. I keep thinking I'm forgetting something...
Jumping into the shower, I turned the heat right up. Washing my hair felt so good. This whole shower was amazing. I should text Ethan back... explain.
At least I get to see Christian today...
"Shit! Christian!"
A/N Hope you liked that! Oh whats he gonna do?!
