At a bridal dress shop in Sarayashiki, Keiko and her mom are looking at what dress she is going to wear at her wedding. "I can't believe that my baby girl is about to get married." She said over on the other side of the dressing room door. "Mom, this is the fifth time today that you said that, and part of me feels that this is you trying to accept the fact that I'm marrying Yusuke." Keiko feeling annoyed. "Come on, it was still a shock to me and your father that he would actually keep his promise after saying it many times as a kid." Her mom revealing her doubts. "But even after that we still didn't believe he would amount to anything and I felt that you are wasting your life with him." "MOM!" Keiko upset by this comment. "But with him opening that Ramen stand and making a lot of money and taking night classes to graduate from high school, I think it's fair that me and your father should stop and give him credit." She added to not get Keiko angry. "Thank you, and he really was worried that dad would not give him his blessing just to let you know." Keiko added the other obstacle that Yusuke was going to face.
"Believe it or not, your grandpa was not a fan of your father at first until he proved to be better at this game then he was." Keiko's telling her daughter about a similar story. "I remember that story, and I still don't know how dad was able to one up grandpa." Keiko baffled by this. "What was it that grandpa was good at?" "Pachinko." Her mom answered. "Grandpa to this day is still convinced that your dad cheated on that game but what really happened…." Keiko's mom forgot how her husband won. "One day dad will tell us but I think he doesn't want anyone to know so Grandpa doesn't challenge him again." Keiko said and both her and her mom laughed.
The business door opened and Yukina, Shizuru, and Botan finally arrived. "Your friends are here." Keiko's mom informed her daughter. "Finally, what took you guys so long?" Keiko asked. "Sorry about that but you do remember that Genkai lives two hours from the nearest town and train station so it's We thought it was the one 3 blocks down so we made a detour." Shizuru explained. "But I thought it was because we were-" Yukina was cut off by having her mouth covered by Botan. 'That is for the bachelorette party and it is supposed to be a surprise.' Botan telepathed through Yukina. 'Oh, sorry, but I don't think Kazuma would want me to attend.' Yukina telepathed back, not comfortable with the idea. 'That's why it's meant to be a secret and no one has to know and besides, what's the possibility that the guys are going to do the same?" Botan asked Yukina. 'You got a point.' Yukina said back, knowing that Kazuma would do something but it is for Yusuke's last day of freedom. "What was that?" Keiko asked Yukina before she got cut off by Botan. "Nevermind, we did get confused, but we are here." She lied to Keiko.
"Well, that's true, you guys did make it here; so please make yourselves comfortable and get ready to see my wedding dress." She told them. After a couple of minutes of drinking coffee and eating cookies, Keiko was ready to show her friends and mom the dress. She opened the door and all four were in could not believe how beautiful she looked. "Oh Keiko." Her mom in awe. "It's beautiful." Botan said with tears in her eyes. "I must admit, it's actually not bad." Shizuru added. The dress was a white Kimono with Yukina's diamonds used for her wedding hat, the same jewels that Yukina makes when she cries. "Yukina, did you help with the hat?" Botan asked. "She asked me if it was okay as long as she didn't sell them in the black market." Yukina answered. "I'm sorry you had to cry to help make the hat." Keiko apologizing for what Yukina had to go through. "It's alright, all I had to watch was that Lion movie and it didn't require physical pain to do it." She told Keiko as there was no need to apologize. "I'm so happy that I need to go get my camera." Keiko's mom said and left the room. "So, was showing the dress the only thing that you wanted us to see?" Shizuru asked.
"Actually, I wanted to let you know that I have decided who my maid of honor is." Keiko revealed why she invited them here. All three women were shocked, but even they wanted to know who the maid of honor was going to be. "And that is Botan." She revealed and Botan, surprised that it was her that she picked, was lost for words as she started to drabble. "Let me explain; I wanted to pick you because if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be alive after the bug incident a few years back." Keiko explaining the third time they met. "And you are the reason Yusuke came back to me as you used my mom to tell me to go to him and kiss him." As Keiko finished, Botan hugged her with tears in her eyes. "Thank you, and I promise to be the best maid of honor I can ever be!" Both Shizuru and Yukina hugged Botan to congratulate her. "I just have one request if that's okay?" She asked. "Sure anything." Botan agreed. "Even though I believe the guys may plan something for Yusuke's last night, can you please not take me to a male strip club?" As soon as Keiko said that, all three women fell to the ground. "I'm kidding! Whatever you guys plan, next time don't go to a male strip club that is across where my job is." Keiko went back into the dressing room. "I told you that is the place across the street was Keiko's job." Shizuru said, mad at Botan. "Shut up!" Botan said and all three women got up and Botan grabbed her notebook and scratched out the name of the strip club from the book. "Now to find another place." Botan said annoyed.
