Mother VS Mother

Just one of my own :). *Season 6 mid-season finale spoilers!*

When Snow had woken up with a full A4 sized page filled out and addressed to her, she knew that meant trouble.

When Snow looked at the letter, she found it was from Charming. In it, he had detailed Emma being taken to the wish realm (although thanks to Regina, she was now back safe and sound). How Belle and Rumple's baby boy was now fully grown, and was the person under the hood in Emma's visions. He was here, and he was out for Emma's blood. As soon as Snow read the letter, she of course tried to find Emma to get more details and keep her safe. It appeared Emma had got herself hidden away herself. So Snow did the next best thing in her book. She got in contact with Belle and arranged to meet her urgently at Granny's.

By the time Snow got there, she saw that Belle was already seated at the back booth. As soon as Belle made eye contact with her, it was clear that this was going to be a difficult conversation. Snow knew that Belle was here for the same reason she was: to defend her child. Snow had allied with Belle frequently. Snow would even consider her a friend, but Snow wasn't here as just Snow. She was here as Emma's mother.

"Belle." Snow greeted her cordially as she sat opposite her. Belle nodded coolly.

"Snow." She responded. Her hands were clasped tightly in front of her on the table. "I think we both know why you're here." Snow stayed silent. "Snow, I know we're friends, but I'm not prepared to give you permission to hurt my son." Belle warned her. "No matter what he might do. He's my boy, and I won't let anyone hurt him."

"I didn't come here to ask for permission to hurt Gideon." Snow responded quietly. "I came here to give you and Rumple a chance to save him." Belle looked at Snow, her eyes narrowing slightly. "You have twenty four hours to convince your son to drop this mission from the Black Fairy to kill my daughter. After that, the gloves are off, Belle. I won't allow anyone to threaten Emma. That includes your son." Snow got up coolly from the booth, sliding out. She didn't look back at Belle's face as she left the diner. She meant what she said. If Gideon hadn't been made to see sense by the same time tomorrow, Snow would make sure he was taken down. She wasn't going to lose Emma.
