That evening, Raven was at Hero 101 which she had replaced General Villainy with.

"This should be good," said Daring as Raven stood before a pitching machine with two wooden swords in her hands.

"Are you ready, Miss. Qu… I mean Miss. Pendragon?" asked Professor Knight as he stood with a remote in his hands.

"Ready," said Raven with a confidant smile. The teacher then turned the machine on, causing baseballs to shoot out at her.

"Not bad, but she's only on level one," said Daring as Raven hit each ball which was only being clocked in at fifteen miles per hour.

"Is this all this machine has, because this is child's play," said Raven after the last ball was shot which she hit without a problem. Even though she had hit twenty of the baseballs she was not winded in the least.

"The highest it can go is forty-five miles per hour, but it can break bones and dent metal armor at that speed," said Darling.

"Sounds fun, can we set it to the max then?" asked Raven with a big grin as she readied for the baseballs to come again.

"It's her funeral," said Daring with a smug smile. The teacher then loaded the machine and sat it to max.

"How… how is she doing that?" asked Hopper as Raven managed to hit each ball even though they were traveling so fast.

"She has to be using magic, it's the only thing that makes sense," said Daring.

"There's only one problem with that theory, neither her hands or eyes are glowing, and they always do when Raven uses her magic," said Hunter. The last ball then shot out of the machine, but instead of deflecting it into a net, Raven put her magic into the blade of her right sword and once the sword made contact she sent the ball flying into the concrete wall behind the machine.

"How the hex?" asked Darling as the class looked at the wall which had the ball embedded into it.

"Merlin's spells could travel up to seventy miles per hour, so this was nothing," said Raven. Both swords then broke in half.

"Woops, looks like I put too much force into them, I'm used to bamboo swords not normal wooden ones," she said. This just shocked everyone even more as they looked at her.
