The next day, Raven was standing at her locker when Cerise and Cedar walked up to her.
"You look tired," said Cerise as she noticed the dark circles under Raven's eyes. The witch was so tired that she didn't even bother to put any makeup on that morning. Before Raven could say a world to her, a yawn escaped her lips.
"I didn't get much sleep last night, I kept thinking of what today was going to be like since I revealed my secret yesterday," said Raven as she closed her locker while yawning again.
"Uh, I have a feeling you weren't hexpecting this," said Cedar as she and Cerise looked behind her with shock written all across their faces. When Raven turned, her jaw nearly hit the ground at the sight before her.
"Hey girls," said a nervous Apple. She had on not her usual dress but a white t-shirt with a red leather jacket over it and gold jean pants. However, what was most surprising were the red highlights in her hair.
"Apple, what happened to you last night?" asked Raven who thanks to the shock was now fully awake and staring at the blond princess.
"Briar and Ashlynn said I should be my true self, and here I am," said Apple.
"I've always liked these kinds of clothes but was too afraid to wear them because they weren't very princessy, and I thought red highlights would look good in my hair," said Apple while bouncing the left side of her hair.
"Well you look great," said Raven who was blushing.
"Thanks, Raven," said Apple with a bright smile, her own face flushed slightly.
"By the way, I'll see you in Magicology class later, I dropped Damsel-in-Distressing for it," said Apple before leaving with a wave. Her right hand engulfed in a red magical aura as she did so.
"Since when does she have magic?" asked Cerise as everyone watched Apple walk away with shocked expressions.
"You alright, Raven?" asked Cedar as she noticed the witch standing with her mouth open and shock all over her face.
"I… I honestly don't know," said Raven.
