Chapter 112 Baby Jay's appointment

Jake's POV

The next morning, Izzy, Cubby, Princess, along with baby Jay and I went to children's hospital so baby Jay can get another x-ray on his leg.

"So, baby Jay are you ready for your appointment?" I asked him as he started to cry.

"Aww, it's okay sweetie, your big sister and Mommy will make you feel better." Princess said to him as get and Izzy started to make funny faces at him.

"There's my happy little brother. Now I know your scared, but our Mommy and I had it done. And it is quick." Princess said to him.

"Yes, I'll be coming with you to your X-ray." Izzy said to him as baby Jay smiled.

As we went to the receptionist desk, it was busy, so I rang the buzzer.

"Yes, can I help you?" The receptionist asked me.

"Yes, we are here for baby Jay's appointment." I said to him.

" Please sign here, and then take a seat." The receptionist said to me as I signed baby Jay's name on the paper and then I took my seat next to Izzy who brought baby Jay's wheelchair near to us.

"Hello, little guy." I did to him.

As baby Jay started to giggle, he was enjoying our company. Until Dr. Lynch came to us.

"Hello, baby Jay, ready for me to take you to get your X-ray done?" Dr. Lynch asked him as baby Jay started crying again.

" Shh, it's okay baby Jay, it's okay. It's quick and fast." Izzy said to him as they left with Dr. Lynch.

Izzy's POV

As we arrieved inside the X-ray room, Dr. Lynch placed baby Jay on the x-ray bed, while he went to the other room as I stayed with him.

"It's going to be okay, sweetie." I said to him as he looked at me.

Cubby's POV

As Jake, Princess and I were in the waiting room waiting for baby Jay's x-ray to be over, I was coloring with Princess while Jake was watching a YouTube on his phone.

"What are you drawing Princess?" I asked her.

"You!" Princess said to me as she showed me a picture of me.

"Okay, that does not look like me." I said to her.

"Uncle Cubby I'm two. Die you expect me to draw like Mommy?" Princess asked me.

"No, I am just saying." I said to her.

"Well, I am just... You know what? Forget it." I said to her.

"Okay." Princess said to me.

Izzy's POV

As Dr. Lynch takes us to his office he started to explain what's going to happen on the day of Baby Jay's surgery.

"So, during the day of Baby Jay's surgery, he is not allowed to eat anything before. During his recovery he will be staying in his hospital room which I will show you in a minute." Dr. Lynch said to us while Princess was playing building blocks with baby Jay.

"Anyway, as you can see by baby Jay's X-ray since he's only a baby, his leg isn't improving as we hoped. So, you might be in surgery longer." Dr. Lynch said to us as we grabbed the kids so dr. Lynch can show us baby Jay's hospital room where he's going to be staying.

"So, this will be baby Jay's hospital room." Dr. Lynch said to us as I placed him on the bed carefully as Dr. Lynch gives us a guide on around the Children's Hospital as I them placed baby Jay back in his wheelchair.

"Jake, Izzy, baby Jay must be resting his leg as much as possible, before his surgery." Dr. Lynch said to us as we then went home.

Princess's POV

Once we all arrives home, mommy and daddy went to go put baby Jay I'm his crib for a nap. And to also rest his leg.

Meanwhile, I was in the loving room on YouTube, watching a Blue's Clues documentary called Behind The Clues. And it was really interesting. I was sad to hear that Steve was leaving the show, but Donovan Patton who portrayed as Steve's little brother, took the role.

"Wow, that was amazing! I wonder if they're going to do a reboot of Blue's Clues in the future." I said to myself.

Jake's POV

As Princess was enjoying her time watching TV, Izzy, Cubby and I were I'm the living room talking about how baby's appointment was.

"So, how did he do during his X-ray Iz?" I asked her.

"He did fine, I was there with him the whole time." Izzy said to me.

"Well, that's good Iz, considering he's just a baby. He needs his needs his Mommy." Cubby said to her.

"Yeah he does," Izzy said to him.
