Everything was dark; his entire body was in agonizing pain that quickly subsided. As he struggled to open his eyes, he heard a faint voice near him as his hearing came back to him, he heard a voice say to him 'Guardian... Guardian? Eyes up, Guardian!' As the voice stopped, his vision finally came back to him in full, and he could see what was talking to him as it spoke again 'It worked... You're alive!' He could see a small robotic-thingy floating at head height. He had no clue as to what this thing was, why he was here and why it said he was alive. 'You don't knowhow long I've been for you' the little thing said with a pronounced sense of success in its voice. 'I'm a Ghost. Actually now I'm your Ghost. And you... Well, you've been dead a long time. So you're going to see a lot of things you won't understand.' He was thinking about what this thing called a ghost had said to him whilst he looked at his hands and reacquainted himself with moving his hands again when it hit him like a brick to the balls. This Ghost had just told him that he had been dead for a long time.
There was a roar that could be heard that was distant but not too far away. The Ghost turned to look at the direction the cry came from as soon as it had heard it. When the roaring stopped, the Ghost turned back around to face him and said 'This is Fallen Territory. We aren't safe here.' It stopped, then started again 'I have to get you to the City.' A lot was rushing through his head again. What are the Fallen? What is the City? And where in the name of all things desolate were they? The Ghost started to move down the path in front of them then came back saying 'Hold still' as it flew toward his face then disappearing entirely from sight. He looked around for the little thing then heard a voice in his head say to him ' Don't worry I'm still with you. We need to move, fast.'
As he figured out how to use his legs again, he saw two other ghosts revive two different people, one male and one female. After the two had been revived their Ghosts had revived them they told then to follow him before disappearing as his Ghost had done not a minute ago. The trio moved into the massive wall that they had somehow missed. The other males' Ghost whispered to the group 'Quiet their right above us.' The three of them upon hearing this crouched and moved slower and more quietly.
After leaving the first room after entering the massive wall, they came to a dark area that was hollow but with some visible platforms right next to theirs. The woman's Ghost said it would take a look at restoring the lights to the area they were in. When the light was turned on after a few seconds of waiting, creatures could be seen crawling up the walls and pipes were moving and as the woman's Ghost returned to her it said 'There coming for us!' As we started to run a gate began to open too slow for our liking, so we all slid under it and saw three guns. One was left against a concrete pillar. Another was left in a skeleton's arms and one lying on the floor. The other male grabbed the pillar gun that was a fully automatic weapon. The woman ripped the weapon out of the arms of the skeleton fired it and seen it was a 3-burst rifle. The male grabbed the one left on the floor that was too powerful to be a pistol and his Ghost identified it as a hand cannon. With their newfound armaments, the trio moved along the corridor watching out for the things they saw coming after them.
As they moved the woman was the first of the three to speak, and she said 'So, you boys got names or are you just bloke#1 and bloke#2?'
The male with the automatic rifle said in a robotic voice 'Yeah, I gotta name.' He stopped talking after hearing something move.
'Care to share it with the group?' The woman said with a clear tone of sass in her voice.
'Paladin-6' the male said 'You?' He said.
'Velra Jihn.' She said in an unnaturally silky voice 'What about him?' She said, talking to the one who hadn't told his name yet.
'Alex Wither.' He said. Now that they were all adequately acquainted, they moved along the corridor looking out for what was after them.
