It's February 12th, 2021! Happy five years, "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sodor Chronicles" fans!
To celebrate the five-year anniversary of this series, Jriddle41 (Sodormatchmaker) and I decided to do two separate fanfics based on the series. This first story is a complete remake of Thomas and Spencer's very first duel, and is more based off of Yugi and Kaiba's first duel in the anime. Much of the dialogue in this story is lifted from the first two chapters of the main story itself, but heavily polished and modified due to the duel mechanics here using the Duelist Kingdom rules. To make things more interesting, I've also included both the intro and outro from Season 1 (modified).
As mentioned, this story was done in collaboration between me and Jriddle41 (Sodormatchmaker on DeviantART), and we both own the OCs that are used in the story. Everything else belongs to their respective owners:
Thomas and Friends (c) Hit Entertainment and Mattel
The Railway Series (c) Rev Wilbert Awdry
Yu-Gi-Oh! (c) Konami
Song used in Intro and Outro (c) Unknown
(A sun rises over a grassy hill. The angle turns to show Thomas Billinton, a young lad of 15-years old, looking out at the sun with a smile before he began walking, causing the scenery to change to the title.)
YU-GI-OH! The Sodor Chronicles
Step after step, we're always moving on.
And arm in arm, together we are strong.
I count my dreams and watch them slip away.
But all, my friends, I found are here to stay.
(After the title screen fades, Thomas was shown with his seven friends; Percy Avonside, age 14-15 and dressed in green, James Hughes, age 15-16 and dressed in red, Emily Sterling, age 15-16 and dressed in emerald green, Edward Stewart, age 17 and dressed in blue, Toby Holden, age 16-17 and dressed in brown, Henry Stanier, age 18 and also dressed in green, and Gordon Gresley, age 18 and also dressed in blue.)
(During the next part, Thomas was shown by himself in the moonlight. A breeze blows as he pulls out his Deck of cards and drew a card.)
I feel lost as I walk down this road,
Even though it's so familiar.
From the darkness, something's coming out,
Another me is born!
(It then showed Thomas in a duel against Spencer Gresley, age 18 and wearing an outfit resembling Seto Kaiba's Duelist Kingdom outfit. Spencer went and called out one of his three 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons', while Thomas called out 'Dark Magician'. The two duelists gave fierce, determined looks at each other. The scene then changed to Thomas watching a sunset until Emily showed up beside him. Noticing Emily, Thomas blushed a bit, causing the slightly older girl to giggle.)
Just let it out, your thirsty shout! And let it pierce
right through this broken heart of mine.
Come along! I want to invite you
to see the world with me.
(A beautiful 15-year old girl named Lady Stone faced the wind with a calm, hopeful look on her face, while a man named Discord, wearing an outfit similar to Maximillion Pegasus, faced the opposite direction with a comic book in his right hand, and a Spell Card called 'Toon World' in his left hand. The scene then cut to a man named Sailor John with a group of pirates by his side. Sailor John showed a proud and cunning grin on his face while the angle showed Thomas and his friends confronting the group.)
Inside your heart you'll find the truth.
Nobody else can answer your questions but you.
What you're seeking needs a key.
Now's the time to Fly at higher game!
(Thomas stood proudly and determined in front of the camera as the title came back once again.)
YU-GI-OH! The Sodor Chronicles!
It was a pleasant day on the Island of Sodor. Inside a bedroom, there was a TV, and it was showing an animated TV show that day. A brown-haired teenage boy was shown atop a large platform of a sort.
"Draw your last pathetic card so I can end this, Yugi," The first boy grinned evilly.
Another boy was then shown, with extremely extravagant hair featuring multiple layers including long blonde crooked, pointy locks for his fringe; the rest features a set of five large spikes and two smaller spikes colored black with a magenta sheen along the edges. He was also atop a large platform of a sort.
"My Grandpa's Deck has no pathetic cards, Kaiba," The second boy (Yugi) retorted, "But it does contain…" He held up a card, which had a picture of a monster and its stats written below, "…the unstoppable 'Exodia'!"
"Impossible!" The brown-haired boy (Kaiba) shouted in horror.
"I've assembled all five special cards!" announced Yugi, laying five cards onto a dueling mat of some sort, "All five pieces of the puzzle!"
A huge hexagon appeared. Suddenly, a huge muscular giant with chains around his neck, hands, and legs stepped out from a hexagon-looking portal and faced off against three large, blue/white-scaled dragons.
"'Exodia'!" cried Kaiba in sheer terror at the sight of the creature, "It's not possible! Nobody has ever been able to call him!"
At long last, the giant monster ('Exodia the Forbidden One') started charging something in its hands.
"'Exodia'… OBLITERATE!" called Yugi.
'Exodia the Forbidden One' fired a sphere of flames to the left, and it destroyed all three dragons in an instant, and soon engulfed Kaiba as he cried out in despair. As a result, the brown-haired boy's score dropped from 1000 down until it hit 0, while Yugi still had a score of 400 points left. This made him the winner of the match.
(elsewhere…)
Zoom out from the TV, two teenage boys were watching that show, and they looked at each other and high-fived excitedly.
"Alright, Yugi!" The blue-haired teenage boy cheered, "That was so awesome."
"You said it!" The green-haired teenage boy agreed, "Nothing can beat watching random episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! on a Saturday."
"And soon the famous Duel Monsters card game will be released here on Sodor," The first teenage boy insisted.
"Yeah, we have to be the first to get a set," The second teenage boy added.
And so, the start of a new adventure.
Title: The Challenge
A little while later, the two teenage boys had arrived at the entrance of the Knapford City Mall.
"Man, this is going to be so awesome, Thomas," The green-haired boy squeed happily.
"I know, Percy!" The blue-haired boy (Thomas) nodded, eagerly.
These two boys are Thomas Billinton (age 15) and Percy Avonside (age 15). They've been the best of friends for years ever since growing out of their 'young and foolish' stage.
"Where are they, though?" Percy asked impatiently, "We have to get to the card shop before a REALLY big line-up stops us."
"Thomas! Percy!" A male voice called out.
That voice came from an older teenage boy. From there, a small group of teenagers walked up to the two boys:
-The first, Edward Stewart, was 16-years old, had blue hair, wore a blue shirt with the number 2 on front, green overalls, and also had glasses.
-Gordon Gresley, 17-years old, had blue hair, wore a blue shirt with the number four on the front and looked fairly muscular on the upper-body, as well as black jeans.
-James Hughes, 15-years old, had slick red hair, wore a red jacket (a black sleeveless shirt was underneath) with the number five on the left side, along with bright blue jeans.
-Emily Sterling, 15-years old, had long dark green hair with a yellow bow on the back of her head, and wore an emerald green shirt with some yellow triangle patterns, and a green skirt (Emily was often considered to be one of the prettiest and most popular girls in Sodor High School). Because of how tall and surprisingly mature she looked, many thought the girl looked to be 18.
-Henry Stanier, 17-years old, had long light green hair tied back in a low ponytail, and wore a green shirt with the number three on the upper right side, along with black pants.
-Toby Holden, 16-years old, had brown hair, wore a brown cap on his head, and wore a brown shirt with a blue number seven on front, as well as blue (slightly torn) jeans.
Together, the eight teenagers as a group were often called 'The Tidmouth Teens' because of their classroom being nicknamed it.
"There they are," smiled Thomas, waving to the group, "Hey, guys! What took you?"
"Sorry about that," grumbled Gordon, "Traffic was awful."
"The mall must really be packed today," Emily commented, "I've never seen so many cars parked here."
"Well, that's thanks to that Duel Monsters game," chuckled Edward, "It's quite popular here."
"Come on!" Percy grunted, pulling Thomas and Edward both into the building.
This left James, Gordon, Henry, Toby, and Emily to all laugh slightly as they followed their friends inside.
(elsewhere…)
Inside the mall, it was jam-packed with shoppers and/or families, and the Tidmouth Teens had a hard time getting around. Finally, they reached the card shop, they could see a long line of people.
"Wow!" said Emily in amazement, "Everyone and their sister must be in here."
"And why wouldn't they be?" asked James, "Duel Monsters is the best card game in existence, based off of the popular anime Yu-Gi-Oh!."
"The rules are said to be pretty simplified just like early on in the show," Edward explained, "Once the game becomes popular enough, the rules will be updated to become more complex."
"I still really don't see the point though," muttered Gordon, "It looks just like a normal trading card game to me."
Unfortunately, Percy had overheard that comment, and wasn't too pleased about it per say.
"Just a trading card game? JUST A TRADING CARD GAME?!" he shouted, making the rest of the gang reel back a bit, "Gordon, this isn't just a trading card game! It's a-!"
"Umm, Percy?" interrupted James, taping the green-haired boy on the shoulder, "Before you go into that usual speech, could you perhaps take a look at that big crowd at the card store right over there?"
"Huh?"
Percy turned around and saw something to his horror. The line-up of parents, children, and teenagers at the card shop, no doubt to purchase the new Duel Monsters trading card game sets, had gotten so big that it looked like it could take hours to even make it inside. Percy sank to his knees in despair, for he wanted to be the first one there to get the best sets… Now that ray of hope was forever lost.
"Oh, poor Percy," Edward groaned sadly, feeling sorry for his friend.
"Yeah, too bad for him," agreed James… before smiling widely, "Well, if any of you guys need me, I'll be checking out the stores for any new video games!"
"Count me in, James!" grinned Gordon.
"Hey, wait a min-!" Thomas started to say in protest.
He was too late. Gordon and James had both taken off to the middle of the big mall. Leaving Percy more disappointed than ever. It was then Henry spotted something at a nearby store.
"Wow…" The tall, green-haired boy breathed, "New camping gear…" He looked over to Percy, who only gave a sad sigh, "O-Oh, I'm sorry, Percy. It's just-"
"Go ahead," Percy said unhappily, "We'll be here waiting until you get back."
Henry did feel bad about ditching Percy to check out what's at the camping store… but seeing as he (Percy) said it was okay, he (Henry) left the group and went on towards his place of interest. This left only Thomas, Edward, Toby, and Emily to all stay behind.
"Don't worry, Percy," said Emily kindly, "We'll wait with you."
"Got that right," smiled Toby.
"And as I promised, I'll try the game out, too," added Thomas, "Being a big fan of the anime, it might be a lot of fun."
This made Percy feel better, "Thanks, you guys rule!"
After quite a long time, the line had shortened enough so that Percy could go in.
"At last!" he cried in triumph.
"Good luck, Percy," encouraged Thomas, watching as his friend walked inside.
"One 'Red-Eyes' starter set, please," Percy said proudly to the shop owner.
"Sorry, lad," sighed the shop owner, "I'm already sold out on that one."
Percy felt very disappointed, "Oh, you have got to be kidding me…" he muttered unhappily, "I was too late."
"We've got one 'Flame Swordsman' starter set left, though," The shop owner added, holding it up, "Would that do for you?"
"Sure, I guess…"
And so, the green-haired boy paid for the starter set and left the shop.
"Any luck, Percy?" asked Edward.
"Someone already bought what I wanted," grumbled Percy, "And so, I got the 'Flame Swordsman' one."
"Well, I'm next," said Thomas excitedly.
The blue-haired boy walked into the card shop, completely unaware that a mysterious figure wearing a trench coat and cowboy hat was watching him on a bench out with a black case in-hand. Inside the store…
"Excuse me," began Thomas, speaking to the card shop owner, "but would you happen to have any Duel Monster starter sets left?"
The shop owner checked the inventory in the counter but came back, shaking his head with a hint of regret.
"Sorry, kid," he sighed, delivering some bad news, "I've just sold the last one. Those things are quite popular, you know."
"Aww…" complained Thomas, "Do you know when more will be in?"
"I phoned in another shipment," The owner replied, "but it won't be in for another week. I'm sorry, but I can't help you…"
"Oh, okay…" sighed Thomas, speaking in a disappointed tone. In his mind… "Perhaps we should have gotten here much earlier."
Unknown to the two of them (Thomas and the shop owner), the mysterious figure had been watching from outside the store on a bench. He held a comic book in one hand and held the black box in the other. Suddenly, he felt as though something was resonating from within the case. Having a good feeling about what it meant, he looked back towards the shop.
"He might be the one," The man said to himself, looking at Thomas, "Go to him."
Taking a look at his case, the mysterious figure closed his eyes, and the case briefly filled with a bright yellow light. In the shop, the same yellow light shined inside the counter, catching the shop owner's attention. When he opened it, he could see what looked like a Duel Monsters starter set.
"Hey, kid!" The man called out to Thomas, "It looks like you're in luck. It would seem I had one starter set left after all."
"Really?" asked Thomas in surprise.
"Yup, you can buy it if you want."
The blue-haired boy didn't have to be told twice. He eagerly paid the shop owner and took his new set.
"Thank you very much," said Thomas happily, bowing before leaving the store.
The shop owner waved for a bit before a thought came to him.
"I could swear there were no more starter sets left back there…" he said only to himself, "Maybe I was just not paying attention or something. Geez, I might need to retire from this job soon!"
(later on…)
Later on, outside the shop, Gordon, James, and Henry had each returned from their little shopping spree to see what Thomas and Percy both purchased.
"As you guys can see, I've bought the 'Flame Swordsman' starter set," sighed Percy, looking over the Deck he had bought, "It's one I'd like to consider to be the worst set ever."
"Yes, we can see that," muttered James, who was carrying a small plastic bag containing a video game he bought from a store.
"So, what did you get, Thomas?" Henry asked curiously.
Thomas opened up the golden starter set box and took a peek… There, he let out a gasp, though not nearly as much as Percy.
"You've got to be kidding me!" The green-haired boy cried out in shock.
Inside the starter box were thirty booster packs…and a Starter Deck (along with an Extra Deck). One card found at the bottom of the deck was a monster card called 'Dark Magician'. Percy instantly recognized the very monster that was used by Yugi Muto in the show, and picked it and the deck up.
"I don't believe it! This is the legendary 'Dark Magician' starter set!" Percy nearly shrieked, "It's said to be the strongest of all starter sets next to the 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' set, and even contains five special cards! And you've actually purchased it, Thomas."
"I did?" blinked Thomas, who was very surprised to hear that. It was then he grew nervous, "This is pretty mysterious. I really wasn't expecting the rarest set to just be found at the card shop."
"Anyway," said Gordon, trying to change the subject, "if the 'Dark Magician' set is said to be rare, who could possess the 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' set?"
"Yeah! Who?!" whined Percy, wanting an answer.
"That someone would be me," A new, arrogant voice (male) answered.
The Tidmouth Teens all turned around and saw someone standing behind them. It was a boy the same age as Gordon with silver hair, and a hostile, yet smug, look on his face. His outfit consisted of a long indigo blue trench coat with a dark teal long sleeved button shirt with an extended collar, a matching pair of pants with a white belt on his waist and black shoes. He was also carrying a metallic briefcase in his left hand. The group of friends from Sodor High School all recognized him in an instant…
"SPENCER GRESLEY!" cried Thomas
"Not him!" groaned James.
"What's Boxford Corporation's heir doing here?" wondered Henry.
"Beats me, but he's probably here to cause us trouble," grumbled Gordon.
Spencer, as he was named, had a snobbish smile on his face upon seeing the group of teenagers standing before him.
"Well, well, well…" he said in a snooty tone, "If it isn't the losers from Sodor High School. Fancy seeing you all here today!"
"What are you doing here, Spencer?!" demanded Gordon, "Someone as rich as you should never need to set foot in a mall!"
Spencer wagged a finger from his right hand in a teasing way, "Oh, no, no, no, my dear cousin. While you are right that I'm very rich, there are still some things that not even I own," Soon, the silver-haired boy proceeded to open his briefcase, "And this so happens to be what I don't have."
He took out a Deck of Duel Monsters cards, shuffled it, and then drew three cards with his free hand. From there, Spencer held them up… which were shown to be three 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' Monster Cards. As expected, the Tidmouth Teens all gasped in complete surprise.
"No way! Those are 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons' you have there!" wailed Percy.
"Gee, you're not so dumb after all," insulted Spencer, "Being a very talented gamer that I am, I've been playing Duel Monsters since I briefly lived in Japan… Well, seeing as that stupid show was originally made in Japan, and the game itself was originally made by Konami there, too. Now that I also own three 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons', I'll be able to easily win the Duel Monsters national championship! You and I are on totally different levels."
Percy smirked cockily, "Okay, then let's see how good you really are!"
"Are you challenging me, Percy?" asked Spencer dangerously.
"You bet, I am! I also bet you're not a tough duelist."
Spencer Gresley walked over with his deck and stared at Percy in the eyes.
"Are you that anxious to be humiliated?!" he asked again, this time rather darkly, "I will have you begging on your knees before it's over!"
With that said, the two boys sat at the opposite ends of a nearby bench with a table and set up their play mats. Afterward, they shuffled their decks. Finally, they set their decks onto the 'Deck' field of the mat. From there, they drew their opening hands.
"Ready to lose, Percy?" asked Spencer (LP: 2000).
"Only if you're ready to give up!" retorted Percy (LP: 2000).
(Two turns later…)
"Now, I will use 'Rabid Horseman' to attack your 'Flame Swordsman'!" declared Spencer (LP: 2000). He then smirked meanly, "And that's game over for you!"
Percy (LP: 0) cried out as he slammed his left hand (containing what cards remained) down onto the bench.
"No!" The green-haired boy yelled in frustration, "I've lost…"
DUEL RESULTS: Spencer Gresley wins!
Spencer stood up and looked down at poor Percy with a look full of scorn on his face.
"You were never a match for me," sneered Spencer, "Being number one has gotten me very far in life, and it always will. Actually, you don't even deserve to even play this game, seeing as you completely reek at it."
Henry, Edward, Toby, and Emily all walked over to try and cheer their friend up from his loss. Both James and Gordon looked at Spencer crossly and wanted to say something rather extreme, but felt that they shouldn't. Thomas, however, had finally had enough of that rich snob's attitude by this point.
"You take that back about my friend!" he demanded, "Percy tried his hardest, and that's all that matters!"
"As if!" retorted Spencer, "His Monster Cards were pathetic, and much of his Spell and Trap Cards are useless. If you ask me, they're better off in the trash can."
"Then take me on!"
Spencer smirked, "Oh, so you want to be humiliated like your friend here, Billinton?" he teased, "You're a beginner just like Percy, right? You actually want to take 'me' on?"
"No!" seethed Thomas, "I'm fighting to restore my friend's spirit… which you selfishly took away!"
"Fine, I accept your challenge!" As he spoke, Spencer picked up his deck and neatly put it inside his briefcase, "Why don't you and your friends come down to Boxford Corp tomorrow morning? We can have our duel there."
Feeling satisfied with embarrassing Percy like that, the silver-haired boy walked away laughing rudely. The Tidmouth Teens all watched him leave, before looking back over to Percy, who was feeling very angry—angry with himself for losing that easily.
"I'm sorry," he sighed, "I thought I could beat him."
"As Thomas said; you've tried your best, and that's all that matters." Henry reassured.
"But I guess it just wasn't good enough to defeat Spencer," said Percy sadly.
"I'm going to make Spencer pay for humiliating you like that, Percy," declared Thomas with a determined look on his face.
(elsewhere…)
That night; inside Thomas's room at the Billinton residence, the blue-haired boy was looking over his Deck for what seemed like the hundredth time. He had been trying his hardest to know how each card in his Deck would work.
"These cards have to help me teach Spencer a lesson," Thomas thought to himself. Then, he shook his head, "No… I know they 'will' help me do so," Before long, he spoke directly to his cards, "I know we may have just met, but I have a good feeling that you will help me against that bully. And I'll try to do whatever it takes to help you guys in return. I promise."
Finally, Thomas went to bed; he needed his sleep for a Duel Monsters match tomorrow morning. Little did Thomas realize that from the moment his eyes closed, his Deck…began to glow…
(elsewhere…)
Early the next morning at the park, Thomas and the others had arrived outside of Boxford Corporation's main entrance. Some suits were waiting for the small group of teenagers.
"Welcome; Master Spencer's been expecting all of you," One of the suits said, leading Thomas and the others inside.
(inside…)
Inside the building, the elevator doors opened and the two suits lead the Tidmouth Teens further into the chamber.
"Fellow guests, welcome!" greeted Spencer, who was standing near the center of the room, "Ah ha, I see you didn't chicken out, Billinton. But after today, you'll wish that you did."
"Back off, Spencer!" snapped Emily, "Thomas will wipe the floor with you!"
"Yeah!" agreed Henry.
"Well then," said Spencer smugly, "I'll give your friend five minutes to get ready, and then we'll duel."
With that said, the silver-haired boy turned and walked into the next room.
"Guys, I'm not sure if…I can do this," said Thomas nervously.
"What are you talking about?" asked James, "Of course you can do this. You've got one of the best Decks in the history of Duel Monsters."
"I know, but Spencer also has one of the best Decks out there. Who knows what else it may hold."
Emily merely put her hands on Thomas's shoulders, knelt down to his level, and looked him in the eyes.
"There's still one advantage you have over Spencer, Thomas," she said gently, "Us. The support of your closest friends. And that is more powerful than even the strongest cards. We believe in you."
Thomas looked up and stared into his friend's eyes, seeing nothing but truth in them. Ultimately believing in Emily's words, he nodded in agreement.
"Alright, I'll do it," promised Thomas, "I will defeat Spencer."
Before he could turn and follow Spencer…
"Everyone, put your hands out," requested Emily, taking out a black marker.
Everyone did as they were told, and soon their right hands (including Emily's) had a black marking drawn on, which when combined together made a smiley face.
"This is the symbol of our friendship!"
"This ain't a permanent marker, is it?" pondered Percy, looking at the top of his right hand.
"The ink will easily wash off, but this ring will always remain in our hearts," reassured Emily, "Even if we end up separated, our bond can never become broken."
"Now go kick Spencer's butt," encouraged James, looking at Thomas.
Thomas nodded in agreement. Soon, it was time to enter and begin the battle against Spencer…
(elsewhere…)
Inside a stadium of some sorts, both Spencer and Thomas were standing on platforms of a sort, which were connected to a large battle field of sorts. Standing beyond the platform were Percy, Emily, and everybody else.
"We'll play using my special rules!" announced Spencer, "We start with 2000 LP! If your LP drops to 0, you lose."
Both platforms rose to their maximum height, and Spencer and Thomas both locked gazes.
"Virtual systems, on!" commanded Spencer, causing the battlefield light up, "Now, are you ready to play, Billinton?"
"Playtime is over, Spencer!" declared Thomas. After a moment of silence, the blue-haired boy raised his head and put on his game face, "Now, Spencer… Prepare yourself, because it's time to duel!"
After another moment of silence…
"Let the duel commence!" exclaimed Spencer, drawing a five card hand, "I'll go first!"
Turn One: Spencer Gresley (LP: 2000)
Deck: 35
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, ?, and "Hitotsu-Me Giant"
He took a card from his hand and placed it onto a Monster Zone.
"'Hitotsu-Me Giant' in Attack Position!"
The one of the zones on the field lit up as a humongous cyclops appeared. Thomas and the rest of the Tidmouth Team gasped in shock when they saw what was brought out.
"Bubbling Sodas! He just brought the monster in that card to life!" cried Henry.
"How was that even possible?" asked James.
Spencer chuckled, "You like it?" he teased, "It's all thanks to my family's company developing Solid Vision technology. With it, any card we play can become near real. But don't worry about getting hurt; they're only holograms, so there's no real danger in playing with Duel Arenas."
"I see," said Thomas, acknowledging that the game was gonna be very different than how it was usually played, "Then let's see what I can do to even the odds."
"Go right ahead," Spencer dared, "Just remember that you're playing against a real champ."
"It's my turn!" The blue-haired boy announced, drawing a five card hand, "Draw!"
Turn Two: Thomas Billinton (LP: 2000)
Deck: 34
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, ?, and "Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1"
Almost immediately, he took and placed one of the cards ('Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1') onto a Monster Zone.
"'Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1' in Attack Position!"
Appearing onto the field was a large, blue-colored dragon.
"Whoa! Thomas just Summoned a stronger monster than Spencer's!" realized Percy.
"That means Thomas can attack and defeat it!" put in Toby.
It's true… 'Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1' (Level: 4/ATK: 1400/DEF: 1200) was stronger than 'Hitotsu-Me Giant' (Level: 4/ATK: 1200/DEF: 1000). The latter monster attacked, but the former monster took flight.
"Fiery Cannonballs!" yelled Thomas.
'Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1' obeyed, firing off a large fireball towards 'Hitotsu-Me Giant' and striking it, resulting in an explosion that destroyed the enemy monster. According to the score screen, Spencer's LP dropped from 2000 to 1800.
"Way to go, Thomas!" cheered Gordon.
On his platform, Spencer scoffed as though it were a lucky shot.
"It wouldn't be fun without a handicap," he insisted, drawing a card.
Turn Three: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1800)
Deck: 34
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, "Negative Energy Generator", and "Saggi the Dark Clown"
From there, he slapped another card ('Saggi the Dark Clown') onto a Monster Zone.
"I'll attack with this card!" The voice of Spencer announced.
Appearing on the field was a fiendish-looking clown.
"'Saggi the Dark Clown'?" blinked Thomas, "It can't win with those ATK."
"'Winged Dragon' has an ATK of 1400, and 'Saggi' has an ATK of 600," said Spencer, "This means my monster can't win," He then placed another card onto his field, "But, I'll also play this card."
"That's a Spell Card!" realized Thomas.
Indeed…
"'Negative Energy Generator'!" continued Spencer, "I must target 1 face-up DARK monster I control; I must triple its original ATK."
As the above explanation proceeded, 'Saggi the Dark Clown' was energized with darkness as it grew in size and strength (ATK: 600 → 1800). Now, it was stronger than 'Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1' (ATK: 1400).
"'Saggi the Dark Clown', attack!" commanded Spencer, who then announced his monster's attack name, "Dark Light!"
'Saggi the Dark Clown' obeyed, charging a ball of dark energy and firing it at 'Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress #1', vaporizing the poor dragon and causing Thomas to grunt from the force of the attack. It didn't help his score of LP took a fall from 2000 to 1600 as well.
"That's the destructive power of my combo attack!" The voice of Spencer bragged.
"Spencer… He's good," thought Thomas, looking at his hand, "I don't have anything that can beat 'Saggi' at the moment… I'll have to draw and hope I get something that can."
He drew a card.
Turn Four: Thomas Billinton (LP: 1600)
Deck: 34
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, ?, and "Right Leg of the Forbidden One"
To his disappointment, it was a Monster Card known as 'Right Leg of the Forbidden One', which didn't exactly have the power to fight against another monster.
"This may come in handy later," Thomas mentally told himself, "But it won't help at blocking that clown," From there, he took another card from his hand and placed it onto a Monster Zone face-down (and sideways), "I'll Set a monster in Defense Position! Though it will be easily destroyed, my LP will be spared from damage!"
A face-down Monster Card materialized on the field.
"Heh! Already going on the defensive, are we?" taunted Spencer, drawing a card, "I thought so."
Turn Five: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1800)
Deck: 33
Current Hand (4): ?, ?, ?, and ?
Without wasting a second, "Saggi the Dark Clown raised both hands…
"Dark Light!"
Seeing as the Battle Phase had already begun, 'Saggi the Dark Clown' charged and fired another blast of darkness-based light, striking the face-down monster, which was revealed to be a purple-colored beaver dressed in blue armor with a sword.
"My 'Beaver Warrior'!" cried Thomas.
Turn Six: Thomas Billinton (LP: 1600)
Deck: 33
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", and ?
Quickly, he placed another card onto a Monster Zone face-down and sideways.
"I defend with another monster!" continued Thomas, "I end my turn there!"
Turn Seven: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1800)
Deck: 32
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, ?, and ?
And just as quickly…
"I'll make quick work of your monster, Billinton!" declared Spencer wickedly, before going on the offensive again, "Dark Light!"
Another blast of Dark Light from "Saggi the Dark Clown' struck the face-down monster, revealing it to be a large brown steer on two legs ('Battle Steer') and wearing armor before being destroyed.
"Hehehehe… Come on, bring out another monster," dared Spencer, giggling evilly.
Turn Eight: Thomas Billinton (LP: 1600)
Deck: 32
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", and ?
Thomas, like before, still didn't draw anything that could beat the buffed 'Saggi the Dark Clown', thus forcing him to silently place another card onto his field face-down and sideways.
Turn Nine: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1800)
Deck: 31
Current Hand (6): ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and ?
As expected, 'Saggi the Dark Clown' fired off another Dark Light, striking and destroying the face-down Monster Card (it was revealed to be a monster known as 'Torike') like before.
"You're not faring any better than Percy did," dismissed Spencer, shrugging his arms slightly, "I was expecting so much more from somebody who managed to pick up that rare 'Dark Magician' set."
"I won't allow your words to get to me," insisted Thomas, "These cards may be new to me, but I won't ever give up on them," He then raised a question to his opponent, "Spencer, do you believe in 'your' cards?"
"What is 'that' supposed to mean?" scoffed Spencer, although he was slightly surprised.
"I believe in my cards!" continued Thomas, drawing a card, "And if I continue to believe, I will eventually get something!"
Turn Ten: Thomas Billinton (LP: 1600)
Deck: 31
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", and "Gaia The Fierce Knight"
Upon seeing what he drew, the blue-haired boy smiled slightly, knowing he could finally take the lead.
"And my faith rewards me with 'Gaia The Fierce Knight'!" he announced, placing his card onto his field, "He has an ATK of 2300!"
Appearing onto the field was a human wearing purple armor, wielding twin lances, and riding a purple horse.
"No…!" grimaced Spencer, who knew that 'Saggi the Dark Clown' no longer stood a chance.
"Battle!" declared Thomas, entering the Battle Phase. While announcing his monster's attack name, he punched his right fist forward, "Spiral Spear Strike!"
'Gaia The Fierce Knight' obeyed, charging into battle and impaling 'Saggi the Dark Clown' with one of the lances, destroying the evil clown in a single blow. This resulted in Spencer's score dropping from 1800 to 1300.
"'Saggi' is destroyed!" The voice of Thomas said in triumph.
In the crowd…
"Way to go, Thomas!" whooped James.
"He's not doing too bad," admired Edward.
Back on the duel field…
"This battle isn't close to being over, Spencer," smirked Thomas, folding his arms with triumph.
"Oh, I know that," acknowledged Spencer, drawing a card, "But it might as well be!"
Turn Eleven: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1300)
Deck: 30
Current Hand (7): ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"
Upon seeing his drawn card…
"It's here!" thought Spencer, before finally placing the card onto a Monster Zone, "'Blue-Eyes White Dragon'!"
Appearing on the field in a burst of light, was the first of the three blue/white-scaled dragons, roaring loudly (Level: 8/ATK: 3000/DEF: 2500).
"What?!" cringed Thomas.
The audience was, likewise, deeply surprised that Spencer managed to pull it out.
"'Blue-Eyes'!" cried Percy.
"An ATK of 3000!" put in Henry.
"It looks so powerful!" worried Emily.
Back in the duel field…
"'Blue-Eyes' attacks 'Gaia The Fierce Knight'!" continued Spencer, announcing his monster's attack name, "Burst Stream of Destruction!"
'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' obeyed, firing a powerful blast of energy, vaporizing 'Gaia The Fierce Knight' and his horse within seconds. This resulted in Thomas's score dropping from 1600 all the way to 900.
"'Gaia The Fierce Knight' has been destroyed!" The voice of Spencer exclaimed.
The audience remained deeply worried for their friend.
"I'm still standing!" declared Thomas, bravely standing his ground.
"Hmph! So you are… But not for much longer!" retorted Spencer fiercely, "Just to warn you, Billinton, I have two more 'Blue-Eyes' waiting in my Deck. There's no way you can win!"
Turn Twelve: Thomas Billinton (LP: 900)
Deck: 30
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", and ?
Since 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' had an ATK of 3000, Thomas was forced on the defensive again.
"I Set another monster in Defense Position!" he announced, placing another card face-down and sideways.
Turn Thirteen: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1300)
Deck: 29
Current Hand (7): ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and ?
Without wasting another second…
"Burst Stream of Destruction!" The voice of Spencer, entering battle immediately.
'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' obeyed, vaporizing the face-down monster with another powerful blast (it was a monster known as 'Horn Imp'). As his turn was over, Spencer, sent a card from his hand to the GY since he could only have six cards in his hand.
"What am I going to do?" Thomas thought to himself, adding a card into his hand, "I can't keep defending forever!"
Turn Fourteen: Thomas Billinton (LP: 900)
Deck: 29
Current Hand (6): ?, ?, ?, "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", ?, and ?
As before, he placed another card onto a Monster Zone face-down and sideways.
"Are you planning to play defense until you run out of cards?" laughed Spencer, "Oh wait, that's all you can do since you don't have a card strong enough to defeat 'Blue-Eyes'!"
Turn Fifteen: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1300)
Deck: 28
Current Hand (7): ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"
A wicked gleam twinkled in Spencer's eye.
"'Blue-Eyes', attack!" he yelled again.
'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' obeyed, firing a blast at the face-down monster, briefly revealing a large green gremlin ('Feral Imp'), before shattering it into shards of glass.
"However," continued Spencer, holding up another card ('Blue-Eyes White Dragon'), "I'll Summon my second 'Blue-Eyes'… Let's see how you handle two of them."
As expected, a second 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' appeared on the field, standing beside the first copy.
"'Another' 'Blue-Eyes'?" gasped Percy.
"Just admit defeat," dared Spencer, "Next turn, you'll feel the full power of my dragons in one single direct attack! Now, go ahead and make your move…if you even can, that is."
Thomas was sweating nervously; it was like he was afraid to draw his next card.
"I'm starting to think Spencer's right," The blue-haired boy thought to himself, "I've got no monsters left to protect me, and my draws haven't been so good. What if I make a bad draw? It'll all be over…"
Over with Thomas's friends, they could notice the situation and were getting worried about Thomas, as well.
"Poor Thomas," mumbled Toby, "Isn't there anything he can do?"
"Those 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons' have been blowing away his monsters like they were nothing," commented Gordon.
"That's because they are some of the strongest monsters in the game," Edward pointed out, "An ATK of 3000 is nothing to sneeze at."
"Guys, we can't give up hope," insisted Emily, "While it's true that this situation is looking grim, that doesn't mean we should lose hope for Thomas."
"Emily's right!" agreed Percy, "Thomas has been there for us, now we need to be there for him."
At last, Thomas had mustered enough courage to draw his next card.
Turn Sixteen: Thomas Billinton (LP: 900)
Deck: 28
Current Hand (5): ?, ?, ?, "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", and "Swords of Revealing Light"
He then saw what he drew.
"Perfect!" thought Thomas, before placing the card onto a Spell/Trap Zone, "I activate 'Swords of Revealing Light'!"
Suddenly, giant swords shaped from light surrounded the two 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons'.
"What?!" cried Spencer in anger.
"This Spell Card prevents your dragons from attacking for three whole turns," explained Thomas, "That will buy me some time for a counter."
"I say it's pointless!" dismissed Spencer, "A three turn delay won't be of any help."
Turn Seventeen: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1300)
Deck: 27
Current Hand (7): ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and ?
Swords of Revealing Light: 3 Turns remaining
Scowling in disappointment, Spencer discarded one card from his hand for the six card hand limit.
"I will pass this turn," he admitted in discouragement.
From there, Thomas drew another card.
Turn Eighteen: Thomas Billinton (LP: 900)
Deck: 27
Current Hand (5): "Rude Kaiser", "Left Leg of the Forbidden One", "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", "Left Arm of the Forbidden One", and "Right Arm of the Forbidden One"
Taking the time, he looked at his hand thus far.
"I still have nothing that can beat either 'Blue-Eyes'," thought Thomas, "But these other cards in my hand… They seem…familiar to me."
"Hey! Hurry it up, Billinton!" snapped Spencer, looking impatient, "Play a card!"
Thomas scowled, "Alright, I will!" He then looked back at his hand and picked a card from it, "I'll figure out what these cards are for."
Just where had he seen these cards before? From there, Thomas placed his card onto a Monster Zone face-down and sideways.
"I Set a monster and end my turn!" finished Thomas.
"As expected," dismissed Spencer, drawing a card, "Let's see what my Deck of Power can do next."
Turn Nineteen: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1300)
Deck: 26
Current Hand (7): ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and "Judge Man"
Swords of Revealing Light: 2 Turns remaining
He saw what his drawn card was.
"My dragons might not be able to attack yet," continued Spencer, before playing his newest card, "but this monster certainly 'can'! Meet 'Judge Man'!"
Appearing onto the field was a muscular man with a white beard, wearing brownish red armor and purple cape, and wielding two maces.
"With an ATK of 2200, it can defeat your face-down monster!" bragged Spencer, "Attack!"
Spencer was right; 'Judge Man' raised his weapon and bashed on the face-down, sideways card. A lizard wearing armor appeared, cried out, and shattered into shards of glass.
"Thomas!" called Emily.
"Don't give up!" added Toby.
"Oh, please!" snorted Spencer, "Billinton only has two turns left to survive," He then looked back at his opponent, "You don't stand a chance against me, Billinton. Once I get what I need, you're finished!"
Thomas merely drew his next card.
Turn Twenty: Thomas Billinton (LP: 900)
Deck: 26
Current Hand (5): "Left Leg of the Forbidden One", "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", "Left Arm of the Forbidden One", "Right Arm of the Forbidden One", and "Dark Magician"
His drawn card was a Monster Card called 'Dark Magician'.
"I was starting to wonder when I'd draw you," Thomas thought with a smile, before frowning slightly, "Unfortunately, you're no match for any of those 'Blue-Eyes'… Still, I can't risk using you to defend against 'Judge Man', so I'll have you battle him instead."
With that said, appearing onto the field was a human male with purple hair, wearing a purple magician's outfit, and wielding a scepter.
"I Summon 'Dark Magician'!" announced Thomas.
"You're defending with it?" quizzed Spencer.
Surprisingly…
"Wrong," denied Thomas, shaking his head before grinning confidently, "I'm actually battling."
"What?!" gawked Spencer.
Seeing as 'Dark Magician' (Level: 7/ATK: 2500/DEF: 2100) was stronger than 'Judge Man' (Level: 6/ATK: 2200/DEF: 1500), that's what Thomas was going to do…
"Destroy 'Judge Man'!" The blue-haired boy commanded, announcing his monster's attack name as he prepared to strike the enemy, "Dark Magic Attack!"
'Dark Magician' obeyed, twirling his scepter about and firing a blast of black magic at 'Judge Man', striking and destroying the enemy monster. As expected, Spencer's score dropped from 1300 to 1000.
"'Judge Man' has been defeated!" declared Thomas.
"Ha ha ha… That small amount of damage doesn't hurt me at all!" jeered Spencer with a small laugh, before drawing a card.
Turn Twenty-One: Spencer Gresley (LP: 1000)
Deck: 25
Current Hand (7): ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"
Swords of Revealing Light: 1 Turn remaining
Uh-oh…
"Your seal will disappear after one more turn," As Spencer spoke, he placed his drawn card ('Blue-Eyes White Dragon') onto a Monster Zone, "Until then, I'll rid your ace monster using my third 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon'!"
The third 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' appeared on the field, ready to attack upon being given the command to do so. Thomas and his friends all recoiled in horror upon seeing the dragon appear. Then, as though it had been ordered to attack, 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' opened its mouth and unleash a blast of white energy, vaporizing 'Dark Magician' on contact with the mighty attack. This resulted in Thomas's LP score to fall from 900 to 400.
"You've barely managed to survive this turn…" Spencer scoffed dismissively, "Not that it really matters all that much to me, anyway… Just look at my trio of monsters!"
The three 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons' each let out yet a shockwave-like roar (Level: 8/ATK: 3000/DEF: 2500) x3.
"With 3000 ATK each, my 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons' are the strongest monsters in the whole game! There's not a single card in your Deck that can defeat it! On my next turn, all three will attack you at once, defeating you by overkill! No matter what you do on your turn, I'm going to be the winner!"
"Can it, Spencer!" snapped Percy. He then turned his attention to his best friend… "You can beat him, Thomas!"
Regardless, Spencer wasn't too worried at this threat. Thomas, meanwhile, looked at the mighty three dragons, which were staring him down with their menacing eyes.
"I have to draw the right card and counter those dragons," Thomas thought to himself, looking at his hand, "If not, I'll lose this duel… The only way I can win is to draw 'Exodia the Forbidden One'; that's what these cards are for!" The blue-haired boy slowly reached for his Deck, but, to him at least, it seemed like the Deck was sliding away from him, "What's going on? Are the cards resisting me?" He then realized something, "No, it's just 'me'. I'm too scared that I'll draw the wrong card and lose."
Just then…
"Don't lose focus, Thomas!" called out Edward, "Don't lose faith!"
"Huh?"
Thomas turned around and saw that his friends were still watching him, and then they started talking to him.
"Thomas, we know you can do it!" called Emily, "While you're still rather new to the game, you've proven so far to be a match for that jerk!"
"If you give up now, then you and I will never hear the end of it!" Gordon threw in, "You HAVE to win this duel!"
"We're your friends, and you've never given up on us," added Henry, "And remember that we're always there for you."
"Remember what you told Spencer before your duel began?" Percy asked, making a reminder, "You said you would beat him and restore my spirit as a duelist. You can't back down on your word, now!"
"You still have a card in your deck that will help you!" encouraged Toby, "Just believe in yourself, and your cards, and you'll draw it!"
"Yeah!" agreed James, "Now go and kick Spencer's butt, buddy!"
Looking down at his hand, Thomas remembered the symbol Emily had drawn on it. This made his mind grow calmer, and he smiled at his band of friends.
"Thank you, everyone," Thomas told himself quietly, "I'm not afraid anymore."
"It's your turn, Billinton!" called Spencer, rudely interrupting the gangs' moment, "Quit stalling and make a move. Or have you given up hope of defeating me and plan to surrender?"
"I haven't given up hope, Spencer…" said Thomas, turning to face the silver-haired boy once more, "You may have a Deck full of power cards and have come from a rich family, but I have something that you don't have; true friends. They believe in me, and I believe in the Heart of the Cards!"
Turn Twenty-Two: Thomas Billinton (LP: 400)
Deck: 25
Current Hand (5): "Left Leg of the Forbidden One", "Right Leg of the Forbidden One", "Left Arm of the Forbidden One", "Right Arm of the Forbidden One", and "Exodia the Forbidden One"
Upon seeing his drawn card…
"The card I've pulled…" As Thomas spoke, he turned his drawn card ('Exodia the Forbidden One') over and revealed it to be… "…is 'Exodia the Forbidden One'!"
"W-WHAT?!" yelled Spencer, horrorstruck.
From there, Thomas placed all five of his cards onto separate Monster Zones.
"I've gathered all five cards!" The voice of Thomas announced, "All five pieces of the puzzle!"
From there, a giant magic seal appeared above the field and before the three 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons. Suddenly, a huge muscular giant with chains around its neck, hands, and legs stepped out from a hexagon-looking portal. The three 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons' stared helplessly at the giant monster; the strongest monster in the whole game.
"No way!" wailed Spencer, taking a step back in terror, "It-It's 'Exodia'! You're saying you performed a miracle?!"
At long last, 'Exodia the Forbidden One' started charging something in its hands.
"Hellfire's Rage! Exodo Flame!" The voice of Thomas with such force.
'Exodia the Forbidden One' fired a sphere of flames to the left, and it destroyed all three dragons in an instant before engulfing Spencer, who could only watch and scream in horror. As a result, Spencer's LP score dropped from 1000 down until it hit 0, while Thomas still had a score of 400 LP left. This made him the official winner of the match.
DUEL RESULTS: Thomas Billinton wins!
As the holograms faded away, Thomas's friends cheered wildly for Thomas's victory.
"He did it!" cried Emily, "Thomas won!"
Shocked from his loss, Spencer could only fall to his knees as the remains of his hand fell onto the platform.
"But how…?" he asked himself, "All the tournaments I've won, the most powerful Deck I could find and buy… How could I lose to a mere beginner?"
"No matter how powerful your cards may be, Spencer," explained Thomas, smiling slightly, "without heart, they're meaningless. But when you link yourself to your Deck and believe in the Heart of the Cards, miracles can happen."
Spencer, feeling his anger over losing reach its breaking point, scooped up his cards and reordered his Deck.
"Heart of the Cards?!" he shouted in disgust, "That's complete nonsense! Cards are all about power! Which is something you and your friends will never understand! Also know that this isn't the end… not by a longshot! I'll get even with you one day, Billinton! Mark my words!"
With that, the silver-haired boy descended from his platform and walked away in a rage, muttering curse words along the way. As soon as Spencer was long gone from the arena, the remaining Tidmouth Teens all approached their blue-haired friend.
"That was so awesome!" shouted James.
"You literally mopped the floor with Spencer," proclaimed Henry, "Using the most rare and powerful monster in the game!"
"How does it feel to have won against somebody like Spencer?" asked Toby.
Thomas didn't know what to say. He had just beaten a champion duelist, and it was so shocking for him to think about it.
"I-I…don't know what to say," Thomas admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.
Emily smiled, "Well, I believe I do," Without any warning, the dark green-haired girl pulled Thomas into a hug, holding him very close to her. This caused him to blush as he returned the hug, "Congratulations, Thomas."
Yup, this was a pretty good way to end your morning; winning your first duel and being hugged by your crush. I'd say Thomas was off to a good start in becoming a duelist.
END DREAM SEQUENCE
All of a sudden, Thomas woke up in his bed of his room. Turns out the whole duel had been a part of a dream of some sorts.
"Whoa," yawned Thomas, as he sat up and scratched the top of his head, "I just had the strangest dream. Spencer and I were having our first duel, yet the rules of the game were much different and far simpler. It ended up feeling as though we had reenacted Yugi and Kaiba's very first duel on TV."
He then saw that his clock had struck '8:45'. Since it was a Saturday, Thomas was planning to go and meet Percy and Toby for breakfast at a diner. He got out of bed, got dressed, slipped his Duel Disk (which contained his Deck) on his left arm, and began to leave the room.
"Whatever next?" thought Thomas, "Spencer and I dueling with a different version of the Duel Disk that acted like a wrist yo-yo?"
That's a mystery, Thomas… A mystery indeed.
(The sun began to set over a view of the sea. Thomas Billinton was seen watching it set from atop a hill.)
Call My Name
I can hear you as clear as day
As you call out for comfort in the darkest night
I'm your friend. Even though we're apart we'll always be one against even your deepest fright.
(It has become nighttime, and Thomas started walking alone through the woods. As the blue-haired boy continued through the dark, he saw spirits of some of his monsters; 'Dark Magician', 'Curse of Dragon', 'Gaia The Fierce Knight', 'Celtic Guardian', 'Kuriboh', etc.. He smiled as he carried on.)
Never doubt destiny, for it controls all of our fates.
We must go forward in a world we can't escape.
Who knows what life has in store for us
Inside this endless game, where we will test our trust.
(The sun started to shine brightly, causing Thomas to cover his eyes. When he uncovered them, he saw that his friends were waiting for him on top of a hill, smiling down at him. This made him smile as he raced towards them.)
For we are all in our own way, chosen for greatness
Although we never know quite what it is,
If we stay strong in our missions, we will find
The rainbow at the end of the storm!
(All eight friends watch the sun continue to rise over Sodor together as the title comes back.)
YU-GI-OH! The Sodor Chronicles!
And there we go! As it turns out, Thomas' first duel against Spencer using the Duelist Kingdom-style rules was all a dream! Once again, Happy five-year anniversary, and stay tuned for more of "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sodor Chronicles"!
