Everything was hurtling full speed towards Molly's wedding. Angela's evenings were consumed with wedding planning. Hayden had given Molly most of the evenings off this month. Luna was a frequent visitor at the house, she had more good ideas than Angela could have ever even attempted to have. She seemed to have a natural knack for this type of thing.

"Oh this is perfect!" Molly squealed. Luna peered over to look at the magazine in Molly's hands.

"Do you think Chase will like it?"

"I don't think his opinion matters," Luna quipped with a smirk on her face.

Angela laughed, she could tell by the tone in her voice she was joking. Luna often came off as selfish and bratty, but really, she was just sarcastic. Angela could appreciate it. She knew not everyone on the island did. Luna smirked back at her. Angela settled back into her chair as the two younger girls chatted some more.

Her mind wandered to the past Sunday, when she and Gray had spent the afternoon together on Mount Gelato. She had offered friendship to him. It was the safest thing at this moment. She doubted a man like that would be interested in her anyway.

Standing next to him on Mount Gelato, hand in hand was been intoxicating. Neither one of them had bothered to let go when they had reached the top. She knew that she had an infatuation with him. He was so complex, she found herself wanting to get to know him more and more, even if it was only as friends. It was much too dangerous to to pursue anything more with him. She had been heartbroken over her last relationship, she wasn't sure if she could handle Gray's rejection.

"Angela!" Molly shouted. Angela jumped.

"What?" Angela asked. Molly chuckled.

"What has you so lost in thought?" Molly asked. "I've been trying to get your attention for a while now."

"Oh, nothing, I just dazed out there for a moment," Angela mumbled.

"Uh-huh," Molly said. Angela could tell she didn't believe her, but was grateful Molly didn't press any further.

Angela stood in front of the large black horse. She wasn't sure why she had let Gray convince her to ride with him. When he had found out that she was afraid of horses, he had insisted she ride. She had been unable to say "no" to his adorable smile. Now she was wishing she hadn't agreed so readily.

"I-I don't know about this.." Angela stammered. Her heart was pounding. This animal could easily crush her.

"It'll be okay," Gray soothed. "This is the most gentle horse on Brownie ranch. He grabbed her hand and placed it against the horse's side. "They really are magnificent creatures."

"Um.." Angela said.

"Come on, I'll help you up," Gray urged. The sparkle in his eyes melted away any resistance she felt. He gently helped her into the saddle. She felt slightly dizzy being alone on top of this large animal. She took a few deep breaths, the horse didn't move a single muscle. She was shocked.

"He really is gentle," Angela stated.

"Okay I'm going to move him now, are you ready?" Gray asked gently. "Hold onto the saddle horn." Angela nodded, not trusting her voice. He pulled lightly on the horses reins. Angela felt a quick lurch in her stomach. But as the horse continued slowly walking forward, she felt her fear subside a bit more. She breathed in deeply. This really wasn't so bad.

Gray slowly led Angela around Brownie Ranch slowly. He kept a very even pace. Angela could see his love for these animals, he had a natural way of leading the animal. She found it very fascinating, and soon forgot about her fear. After a little while, he handed the reins to Angela. He instructed her exactly what to do, as he walked next to her. Angela was actually starting to enjoy it a bit. She smiled at him. He smiled easily back.

"That's the way!" He said excitedly.

When he finally guided them to the barn, Angela felt a bit relieved. She was starting to feel a bit sore. He guided her off the horse. She ended up in his arms for a mere second. She felt a shiver of excitement. The moment was over too soon.

"Come on, let me show you how to care for the horse afterward," he said. She sensed a bit of shakiness in his voice. She followed him into the barn.
