Quinn woke up the next morning in the arms of Rachel she felt safe and happy. "Good morning" Rachel's groggy voice murmured in her neck, barely awake. Quinn smiles and turn around to face her girlfriend.
"Morning, how are you feeling?" She says as she strokes the side of Rachel's face. "Tired, happy, overjoyed. Loved." Rachel smile ecstatic at her girlfriend. "What about you?" She asks a little insecure. Quinn leans in and kiss Rachel softly.
"Tired, happy, and definitely loved." she leans in again and kisses Rachel.
They lie silently in bed just enjoying each other's presence. "I think I'm going to have the surgery." Rachel suddenly says breaking their comfortable silence. Quinn, who had her head resting on top of Rachel's chest mindlessly stroking Rachel's stomach stops her movement and tries to take in this new information.
"Are you sure?" She asks, not moving from her position. Rachel can sense Quinn's nervousness and tightens her hold around her. "Yeah, I mean I don't really have a choice, I just wanted to have the choice to think about it. Does that make any sense?" Rachel asks mostly to the air, but Quinn shifts her position so that she can look into her girlfriend's beautiful eyes and smiles warmly at her. "That makes total sense."
After a while they get dressed and walks downstairs to get breakfast. Both Leroy and Hiram are there, already finished with their breakfast but enjoying a cup of coffee and the newspaper. "Ah their awake, Leroy and I was afraid you would never grant us with your presence." Hiram said as soon as he saw his daughter and her girlfriend, he gave them a smile and got up to fix them some pancakes. "Don't listen to your father he is just grumpy because he didn't get the goofy section of the newspaper first." Leroy says looking up from the paper and gives them a wink. Hiram just huffs as he flips a pancake. "Your father knows very well that I like to start my morning with some positivity." Hiram says as he places the pancakes on the table and gives Rachel a kiss on her cheek. Rachel and Quinn smiles at their banter and sits down to enjoy the meal.
"So, what are your plans today?" Hiram asks as they finished eating. "Nothing much, just relax I guess." Rachel shrugs and look over to Quinn who nods in agreement. "I do have something I want to tell you though." Rachel says and takes Quinn's hand for support, not that she needs it, she knows her fathers will be thrilled by the news, but saying it out loud to her fathers, to more people makes it more realistic and therefore more scary. And holding Quinn's hand and knowing she is there makes Rachel feel safe. She can feel Quinn giving her hand a squeeze in support. Both her fathers look at her expectantly. Rachel sighs "I've decided to have the surgery." Before she can say anything else, she is wrapped in her fathers arms and they are crying with joy. "Oh honey, we are so glad you decided to do this, we know it's not easy and that this is difficult, but know that we love you so, so much." They let go of their daughter and sits back down. "Have you talked to doctor Summer yet? Do you want me to do it?" Hiram asks, pulling out his phone to find his number. "No dad, I just finished breakfast and I can talk to him myself, I just wanted to tell you before I did it. And I want to tell Mami and papi, so don't you dare talk to them before I do. I'll go over there for lunch." Rachel said a little harsh as to get her father to put his phone down. "OK honey, I just wanted to help." Hiram said as he put his phone down on the table. "I know dad, it's just, it's my body and my decision, therefore I want to let them know." Rachel sighs a little dejected. "I know sweetheart, I just got a little excited, I won't say a word I promise." Hiram says as he takes her hand and give it a squeeze and smiles at his daughter. "I probably need to talk to San too." Rachel sighs again and gets up from the table and walks up to her room with Quinn after her.
They get ready for the day and drive over to the Lopez's. Maribel greets them both with a big hug and invites them for lunch she informs them that Santana is over at Brittany's and that she has been there since Friday. Carlos comes out of his office to join them and Rachel inform them of her decision to have the surgery Maribel starts crying asking if she is sure of her decision and comes over to hug her when Rachel nods yes. Carlos sits in his chair smiling with tears in his eyes. Rachel knows he is proud of her and gives him a teary smile over Maribel's shoulder. She asks that they don't tell Santana, she wants to be the one who tells her. They spend the rest of their day at the Lopez's watching television and helping Maribel with the dinner. After dinner they drive over to Quinn's house and spend their evening with Judy. After a fun evening relaxing on the couch watching TV, they eventually retire to their room.
Quinn comes into the bedroom after brushing her teeth, Rachel is laying on top of her bed in a tank top and boxer, legs crossed, looking at her phone with a frown.
"No answer from San?" she asks as she approaches the bed.
"Nothing." Rachel sighs and puts her phone down on the nightstand.
"I know she is angry, but still..." she drifts off.
Quinn joins her on the bed. "well, at least you've tried, you can't force her to listen to you."
"I know, I was just hoping that I would get the chance to tell her before I tell everyone in glee and the football team." Rachel looks down at her hands in her lap.
"Hey, look at me" Quinn takes Rachel's hands in hers and looks her in her eyes. "I think it's time you start focusing on yourself now, you've tried talking to her that is all you can do, right now you have to think about you, ok? Can you please do that?"
Rachel sees the sincerity in Quinn's eyes and nods. She leans in and captures Quinn's lips, their kiss deepens and spend the night making love.

Sunday morning, they wake up in each other's arms to the smell of bacon, they get ready for the day and greets Judy at the kitchen. Today is the first day Rachel is going to accompany the at their church and she is a little nervous but both Judy and Quinn says she has nothing to be worried about, the congregation know about her and Quinn and have been asking to meet Rachel for a while now.
They arrive at the church and they are immediately surrounded by gushing women asking a million questions and shows genuine happiness at seeing them together.
To Rachel's surprise she actually liked what the preacher had to say, it was all about love and how in God's eyes everyone was perfect. At the end Quinn got up from her seat.
"And today we are so lucky to end with a song from Quinn." The priest says smiling as he takes a seat.
Quinn walks up and grabs a guitar and sits down on a chair, smiling nervously at everyone but her eyes lands on Rachel and she takes a breath.
"This song is for a very special person in my life, Rachel Berry."
I call you when I need you, my heart's on fire
You come to me, wild and wired
You come to me, give me everything I need
Give me a life time of promises and a world of dreams
Speak the language of love like you know what it means
And it can't be wrong
Take my heart and make it strong, babe
You're simply the best
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone
Anyone I ever met
And I'm stuck on your heart
I hang on every word you say
Tear us apart
Baby I would rather be dead
In your heart I see the start of every night and every day
In your eyes I get lost, I get washed away
Just as long I'm here in your arms I could be in no better place
You're simply the best
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone
Anyone I ever met
And I'm stuck on your heart
I hang on every word you say
Tear us apart
Baby, I would rather be dead
Each time you leave me I start losing control
You're walking away with my heart and my soul
I can feel you even when I'm alone
Oh, baby, don't let go
'Cause you're simply the best
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone
Anyone I ever met
And I'm stuck on your heart babe
I hang on every word you say
Tear us apart
Oh I would rather be dead
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Oh you're the best
