House of Traitors:
Victor walked towards the living room. Nina and Fabian thought they were going to be caught, but then heard a squeak from one of the mice. Victor took the mouse and left the house. Nina and Fabian took a sigh of relief and laughed a little because of the nerves.
"I feel your heart beating raising, said Fabian
"I can even hear your heart," said Nina,
Nina and Fabian turned their heads and their noses touched, their lips just a few inches apart. Nina and Fabian looked each other in the eye and they both blushed.
"We ... we've to quickly go up into the attic, said Nina
"Yeah ... yes, you go up to the attic and I'm gonna check the rooms, said Fabian.
"Sibuna," said Nina.
Nina and Fabian did the Sibuna gesture and Nine went upstairs go to the attic and Fabian headed to his room.
Back at school. Aaron and Patricia were still in the hallway guarding Mr. Sweet's office. Suddenly, Aaron and Patricia heard footsteps coming their way. Aaron and Patricia quickly hid in their lockers. Aaron and Patricia opened their doors ajar and they both saw Alfie walking down the hall. After Alfie left, they came out of their lockers and looked at each other with disappointed faces.
"I cannot believe this," said Patricia
"Nina was right. Alfie really is a spy for Jerome," said Aaron.
"We should not focus on that now. We focus on Sweetie," said Patricia.
"Agreed," said Aaron.
In the meanatime Alfie had managed to escape from the school. Alfie walked toward the house, but he had trouble finding his way in the dark.
Back at the house. Nina was in the attic and it collected all the Ankh pieces. A moment later Fabian came into the attic.
"Whoa, it seems like Hurricane Victor has here too," said Fabian.
"Yeah, you can say that again," said Nina.
"Do you have everything?" Asked Fabian.
"Yes, I've got the pieces and Sarah's box," said Nina.
"Sarah's box?" Asked Fabian
"Yeah, the box she gave me with all her stuff. I had hidden it here before it hid the Ankh pieces here," said Nina.
"We can't let Victor have that box," said Fabian.
"What's is the damage to your room? Asked Nina.
"Victor hasn't just turned my room upside down, all our rooms are a total mess," said Fabian.
"All our rooms?" Asked Nina.
"Yes, all our rooms," said Fabian
"Lucky for us, he didn't discover the secret panel, when he searched the attic," said Nina.
"Are you going to take the pieces back to school?" Asked Fabian.
"Too great of risk. I hide them in my room. Victor has already searched there anyway, he will not look there again," said Nina.
"Smart plan," said Fabian.
"Wait what are we gonna do with the cylinders? Asked Nina.
"What do you mean? Asked Fabian.
"They are still here and we cannot easily hide them in our rooms, said Nina.
"You're right. Then there is only one option, we have to destroy them, said Fabian.
"What?" Asked Nina, who was shocked at what Fabian said.
"Nina, we don't have choice. Victor should never, ever hear what is on these cylinders," said Fabian.
"Yes, you're right," said Nina. But how are we going to destroy them?" She asked.
"I'm going to damage them, when Victor plays them he only hears rustle," said Fabian.
"Okay, do it Fabian," said Nina.
"Go to your room and hide the Ankh pieces. I'll see you when I'm done damaging the cylinders," said Fabian.
Nina nodded her head and left the attic. Fabian picked up a screwdriver and started scratching the cylinders.
In the meantime at school. Aaron walked the halls. Aaron heard footsteps and went to see who they belonged to. Aaron looked around the corner carefully and saw Victor. Aaron ran back to Patricia as quickly as possible.
"Victor is in the building," said Aaron.
"What? Where is he?" Asked Patricia.
"Down the corridor. And he's coming this way," said Aaron
"We gotta get out of here, before he sees us," said Patricia.
"Let's go back to our sleeping places," said Aaron.
Aaron went back to the history room and Patricia went back to the drama room.
At that same time in Mr. Sweet's office. Mr. Sweet sat under his desk, angrily and all sweaty, humming Latin songs. Then Mr. Sweet heard the sound of his door, the door opened and Victor stood in the doorway. Mr. Sweet came out from under his desk and gave Victor a hug, Victor was not pleased with this.
"Ah, thank you Victor. Thank you," said Mr. Sweet.
"Let go of me Eric," said Victor.
Mr. Sweet let go of Victor.
"My apologize. I tent to panic in closed space. So stupid that I shut myself in, I'll call a locksmith first thing tomorrow morning to fix the door," said Mr. Sweet.
Victor showed Mr. Sweet the broom, that was blocking his door.
"What is that?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"Well as you can see this is a broom," said Victor.
"Why do you have that broom in your hand?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"One word Eric, one word and that word is sabotage," said Victor.
"What do you mean?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"This broom is proof. I found the broom in the door handle, so you couldn't get out," said Victor.
"Are you saying that someone locked me up in my own office," said Mr. Sweet, angry
"Yes, and I've my suspicion who's behind it," said Victor.
Back at the house. Nina was down in the hallway, looking at the chandelier. Nina heard voices coming from it and got a feeling. Fabian came walking down the stairs.
"I've damaged all the cylinders," said Fabian. "Did you hide the Ankh pieces in your room?" He asked.
"Yes," said Nina.
"Okay we gotta go now," said Fabian.
"No, not yet," said Nina.
"What? Why not?" Asked Fabian
"I need to figure something out first," said Nina.
"What? No! Nina don't have time for this," said Fabian.
Nina didn't listen as Fabian went to the pantry and picked up the ladder. Nina put down the ladder and climbed up. Nina looked at the chandelier and saw something like a small button. Nina pulled the knob and the bottom of the chandelier opened. A small piece of paper fell on to the floor.
"The riddle," said Fabian
"And a new Ankh piece," said Nina.
Nina took the Ankh piece from the chandelier and climbed down. Fabian picked up the riddle from the floor and Nina quickly put the ladder back into the storage room.
"Nina that was amazing," said Fabian.
"Yes, we've a new riddle and a new Ankh piece," said Nina.
"How did you know to look under the chandelier?" Asked Fabian
"I do not know. I just had a feeling," said Nina.
"Another of those feelings of yours? Asked Fabian
"Yeah, I heard voices and they seemed to get stronger as I got closer to the chandelier, said Nina.
Nina and Fabian were just about to check out the new riddle to see what it contained when she suddenly heard a noise from the front door. Thinking Victor was back, Nina and Fabian hid in the closet under the stairs. Fabian carefully opened the door ajar, to see who was coming. But to the surprise, it wasn't Victor who walked into the house, but Alfie. Alfie walked into the living room and went to the fireplace. Alfie examined the fireplace for a moment and then went to his room. After Alfie left, Nina and Fabian came out.
"That dirty traitor," said Fabian
"What if we told him the truth. That we would be coming back to the house to get the Ankh pieces safe," said Nina.
"Sorry I didn't believe you," said Fabian.
"Listen I'm going to my room and hide this new Ankh piece with the rest," said Nina.
Fabian nodded his head. Nina went upstairs as quietly as possible. At the same time Fabian took of his shoe and hid the riddle in there and the put his show back on. Less than three minutes later Nina. was downstairs again. Nina and Fabian sneaked out of the house and went back to school.
Back at school. Victor and Mr. Sweet had awakened all residents and had them gather in the drama room. The Anubis residents were in a line-up and Mr. Sweet was pacing back and forth, giving angry looks to the residents. Victor stood at the door with his arms crossed, his usual angry look at the residents.
"Why are we in a line-up in the middle of the night?" Asked Otis.
"Silence!" Shouted Mr. Sweet
"Sorry Mr. Sweet," said Otis
"I'll be the one asking the questions around here," said Mr. Sweet. "Where are Nina, Fabian and Alfie?" He asked.
None of the residents answered.
"Again! Where are Nina, Fabian and Alfie?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
And once again no of the residents answered. Aaron and Patricia gave each other a quick look and then they looked at Amber. Amber tried to get the attention of Aaron and Patricia, but Mr. Sweet saw her move.
"I saw that! Take a step forward Miss Millington," said Mr. Sweet.
"Me?" Asked Amber.
"Yes you," said Mr. Sweet.
Amber took a step forward and Mr. Sweet walked over to her.
"Where are the three musketeers?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"I don't know. In a book maybe?" Said Amber.
"No jokes, Miss Millington! Where are Nina, Fabian and Alfie?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"I don't know,' said Amber.
"I can see in your pupils that you are lying," said Mr. Sweet.
"I don't know. I really don't know," said Amber.
"Do you declare that under oath? Because if you're lying, I'm forced disqualify you from the school election for breaking the rules," said Mr. Sweet.
Amber didn't want to reveal that Nina and Fabian had gone back to the house, but she didn't want to be disqualified either. A few seconds later, Nina and Fabian entered the room. Now all eyes were on Nina and Fabian.
"Is something wrong?" Asked Fabian.
"Where did you come from at this hour?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"Outside," said Nina.
"And what were you doing outside?" Asked Mr. Sweet.
"I couldn't sleep so I wanted to go for a walk and I happened bump into Fabian and then we went for a walk together," said Nina.
"Yeah, that's what we been doing," said Fabian.
"Next time you will sign out when you leave the building. You know what the rules are," said Mr. Sweet.
"Yes sir," said Fabian.
"I don't believe anything from your little story. Where's Alfie?" Asked Victor.
Nina and Fabian knew very well where Alfie was. But despite the fact that Alfie had betrayed the club, they were not going to rat out Alfie to Victor.
In the meantime at the house. Alfie was in his room looking for his flashlight. But Alfie couldn't find anything because the whole room was a mess. Finally, Alfie found his flashlight and went to the living room. Alfie examined the fireplace, but couldn't find anything. Then Alfie had an idea.
"I'm going to do a reverse Santa, instead of coming in through the chimney, I'm going to go out through the chimney. And I gotta stop talking to myself," said Alfie.
Alfie tried to crawl into the chimney, but couldn't get very far. Alfie thought he saw something and touched it. Then soot fell from the chimney into Alfie's face. Alfie's face was now covered in soot. Alfie crawled back out of the chimney and decided to go back to school because he couldn't find anything. Alfie left the house and went back to school.
Meanwhile at the school. Nina and Fabian were put into the line-up.
"So you two didn't happen to run into Alfie, on this night walk of yours?" Asked Victor.
"Victor it's late. And those kids still have to go to school in the morning," said Mr. Sweet.
"I think these two know very well where Alfie is hiding. I'm not leaving here until I get an answer. Where's Alfie?" Asked Victor.
"I don't know. He was not outside or in the hallway. So I don't know where Alfie is," said Nina.
"I've heard enough. I'm going back to the other vermin," said Victor.
Victor went back to the house and the residents all went back to bed.
A few moments later and Alfie returned to school. Alfie was walking down the hallway when suddenly someone put his or her hand over Alfie's mouth. This started Alfie. Who grabbed Alfie? And why?
