I own none of the character of the Labyrinth. I do no own any characters of The Golden Girls. I write for entertainment only. Ok. With that out of the way, Sophia last had been wished away. Her mother now has to run the Labyrinth, and we caught a glimpse of how his eye was injured. In my story he is dressed more like in his Thin White Duke era. Forgive the typos. Enjoy and leave a review.
Mama grabbed quickly grabbed a hand full of grapes, cut a bit a cheese, and bread then wrapped it in a cloth. She inserted it into her apron pocket. Before she walked out to the dirt road before her, she also grabbed her husband's wineskin for her journey. She walked quickly and cautiously down the dirt road before her. The dirt road led her to the outer wall of the labyrinth. "There's glitter everywhere!" Mama exclaimed. There were beautiful flowers all long the wall, as if someone had taken great care of them. While inspecting the flowers, she noticed something that resembled a little tiny woman with wings. Just as she was about to touch the little creature when a loud noise made her stop and look up. An entrance appeared before her where there was none a second ago.
She took a step into the entrance, as it quickly disappeared behind her. Mama turned suddenly, and flattened her apron nervously, looking left and right. " Which way should I go? Both directions just seem to go on and on." Mama closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. "I go left" Mama finally decided. Her quick steps soon became a quick jog. She jumped over tree branches and roots. She just kept going with no end in sight. There was nothing! Finally she stopped, out of breath. "Maybe I made a wrong turn. Maybe I go back the other way." She turned and retraced her step.
After what seemed like forever, she collapsed crying against a wall. "Allo!" She heard a voice say. Mama began to wipe her tears, looking for the voice."Over 'ere." The voice said again. Mama found the voice belonged to a small blue worm. "Scussie? Did you just say Hallow?" She got closer to the worm. "No. I said Allo. But I guess that's close enough." She rubbed her eyes. "I need to stay out of the cianti. Who are you?" She asked. "I am just a worm. Care for a spot of tea?" The worm asked. Mama looked at the worm and smiled slightly. "Thank you. But I don't think that would be proper. I am a seƱora, married, that would not be proper. And you are a...?" She wasn't sure what to say. "A worm." He filled in. "That is ok. Come inside and meet the Mrs."
She just shrugged and agreed. Mama was never ever able to explain what happened next. Next thing she knew, she was having tea with two furry blue worms. They provided the tea, and Mama shared her food with them. "Thank you for the tea. It relaxed me, but I am afraid I must be off. I have to find my way to get my bambina back. I have not been having much luck." She sighed. The two worms just looked at her nodding. "Nothing is what it appears to be in this place." The Mrs. said. "There are no twists or turn. It just keeps going on and on." The worm looked at Mama. "You just not looking is all. There are turns. One in front of me house as a matter of fact." Mrs. just nodded. Mama got up, and repacked what was left of her food.
She stood, putting one hand in front of her. And finally walked through the first turn. She stepped back to thank the couple properly. "Thank you my new friends. I don't really have anyone to talk to. We are having another one. We have too many mouths to feed. I made a mistake wishing her away." Mama began crying again. " Don't worry dearie. Everything will sort itself out. Just you wait see." The Mrs. Said. Mama smile, and took a piece of her shall off and quickly tied it into a scarf for her two friends. "It is not much, but take it as a token of my gratitude."
"Just remember, you can't take anything for granted in this place." Mama stood in front of the opening, deciding which way to go. Last time she chose left and eneded up nowhere. This time she chose to right. She did seem to have better luck this way.
There you have it. Mama meets the blue worm. I know I have received some complaints about my writing and things not being spread out. So I hope this helps. I myself am not fond of short chapter, but maybe this will help with the flow of the reading. I have more written, but was wanting to get some feedback first. I hope you enjoy. Let's see how Sophia is won back. Thank you for your time.
