John Doe

LadyAllanaSolo asked for a oneshot of Cora meeting Leopold after Eva dies and she casts the curse with a more sisterly relationship between Regina and Snow.

Just a reminder that any requests given will always have a bigger focus on the main 5 Charming family members (Snowing, Emma, Henry and little Neal) over anyone else ;).

"You back here again, Mare?" Mary Margaret didn't need to turn around to know who it was. It was Regina, her stepsister. Mary Margaret refreshed the flowers in the vase beside the John Doe. She didn't know what it was about this man, but she felt drawn to him. Everything about him screamed to Mary Margaret that she should be here making sure he was ok. Even though he was in a coma and hadn't so much as set eyes on her. Mary Margaret had tried to explain to Regina how she felt about the John Doe, but she just didn't seem to understand. Ever since her boyfriend Daniel had left her one night without so much as a note and had never been seen in Storybrooke again, Regina had pretty much sworn off men. Cora would make sure Regina became mayor after her. Democracy or not.

"Your mom doesn't like you volunteering here, or seeing me. You're going for a double whammy here." Mary Margaret commented. Regina stepped closer to her younger stepsister. Mary Margaret and Cora didn't see eye to eye. They'd fallen out years ago, and Cora tried to make Regina feel guilty for still being part of Mary Margaret's life. Regina refused to cut her out, she loved her. They were family too.

"So what? It's never stopped me before. She won't stop talking to me, we both know she wants me to take over when she's done being a tyrant." Regina pointed out. She didn't exactly get on with her mother either. Not since she'd thrown her dad out and stopped Regina seeing him. She wasn't going to let the same thing happen with her stepsister. "I worry about you, Mare. What are you going to do if he doesn't pull through?" Regina reminded her. Mary Margaret sighed. They'd had this conversation plenty of times.

"He will." She said stubbornly. "But if he doesn't, it's not like we've ever actually spoken, anyway." Regina could easily detect the hint of bitterness in Mary Margaret's voice. She reached her hand out and squeezed Mare's shoulder.

"Come on. Let's grab a bite at Granny's. My treat." Mary Margaret gave a weak smile before nodding. Regina walked out the room with Mary Margaret following behind her. But before she reached the door, she turned back and looked at the unconscious John Doe. Yeah. There was definitely something pulling her towards him.
