Time is running out- part 2

Boots asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2316 "Time is running out" where the heroes kill Gideon and Emma dies in Snow's arms. A couple of weeks later, Belle and Snow run into each other and start screaming, blaming each other until they both break down and console each other, mourning together.

Guest: Sorry, but then I'd have to do that for any other story that's already had 3 chapters (also, it's been over 100 chapters since I last wrote part of that story :) ).

My hope is to put more of a dent in my requests list tomorrow (well, later today, lol) as well! Loving all these requests flowing again!

It was a week before Snow was able to so much as step out of the house again. It was a few more days later when she and Belle finally saw each other. They both froze where they stood, a few feet apart on Main Street. Two childless mothers. A lion was roaring inside Snow's heart. A lion of vengeance for her baby girl. But deep down, Snow knew Belle wasn't to blame. No matter how much Snow wanted to hurt anybody who was on that monster's side. It took all the strength she had, but Snow turned around and began to walk away.

"That's right, walk away from me." Belle spat bitterly. "You had better warn your murderer of a husband that if me or my husband see him around ever again, he will pay for what he done to our son." Snow whipped back around. Her teeth were clenched. She marched up to Belle until they were only a few inches apart.

"Gideon was lucky to have as painless a death as he did. David is not the murderer here, your son was. My daughter died in agony in my arms. Do you have any idea how that feels?!" Snow yelled, her emotions getting the better of her.

"I do, actually! I had to hold my son as he died with your husband's sword in his chest! I didn't even get to know him!"

"What was there to know? Your son was a vicious killer and the world is better without him. I'm glad David ended him. He took our daughter away from us. She was good, she was pure. She didn't deserve to die."

"Neither did my son!" Wept Belle. "Your daughter wasn't always innocent. Is your memory that selective that you have forgotten her reign as the Dark One? You weren't so black and white with your justice then, were you? No, precious Emma wasn't to be harmed, no matter what she did. Even then, you were her mother and you stood by her. Did you not expect me to do the same for Gideon? He was my baby boy, no matter what. Now he's gone!" Belle broke down in the middle of the street, unable to stop herself. She hadn't spoken about Gideon's death at all yet, not even with Rumple. For the first time since Snow held Emma's limp body in her arms, she felt a small pang of sympathy towards Belle. She was right. Emma had once been the Dark One, Snow had suspended all her moral code to keep Emma safe even then. No matter what pain Gideon had caused her family, he had still been Belle's son. Snow would never regret Charming killing him, not really. She would always feel like that was deserved. But she would now at least understand Belle's point of view. Snow reached down and placed her hand on the grieving mother's shoulder. She couldn't bring herself to give Belle any words of comfort. How could she when she was still grieving the loss of her own child? But this was a start for some healing for both women. Hope that, one day, they could get on with their lives, if never fully move on.
