A/N - So for some background information this takes place after season 2 of the anime a few days after Bell, Ais, and Hestia return to Orario. This is also going to be an all original story except for maybe some flashbacks. Finally, the goddess Hel is according to norse mythology the daughter of Loki and goddess of the underworld.

Somewhere down on the 10th floor of the dungeon.

Bell, Welf, Lili, and Mikoto are fending off an onslaught of monster's while they make their way down to the lower floor.

"Damn, these things really won't let up will they!" Welf sighed as he cut down a killer ant before it could call for support.

"At least we're strong enough to hold them back. Unlike when you pass paraded us. Remember Mikoto?" Lili said as she loaded an arrow into her crossbow.

"I said I was sorry about that." Mikoto snapped back at the pallum supporter.

"Guys now's not the time to fight amongst ourselves." Bell yelled as he took his knife and stabbed it into the head of a goblin.

After the fight with the monsters the group collected their magic stones and kept working their way down the dungeon. Till off in the distance they heard a scream from other adventurers.

"Uh, guys what was that?" Welf asked while putting a hand on the handle of his sword, preparing to unsheath it.

"Come on let's check it out." Bell commanded the group and they ran to the source of the screams.

When they got to the scene they saw a low level adventurer being attacked by some higher level. The lower level was just about to get cut in two but before that happened, Bell jumped into action so fast that Welf, Lili, or Mikoto didn't even notice he had left. He blocked the sword with a jet black knife, sparks flew as the metal clashed, and the higher level backed away.

"What are you doing runt?!" The adventurer called out in an angry manner. He was wearing a hood that covered his head and his upper body while half a mask covered the left side of his face. The man was very tall and Bell could tell by the force of his swing chances are he was about a level 4 or a level 5. "Wait a sec. White hair, crimson eyes, and a jet black knife. You're the Little Rookie aren't ya!"

At this point the rest of Bell's party ran to his side to join their leader.

"So what if I am!" Bell snapped back.

Knowing that they were no match for this fight the adventurers backed off.

"Just know this, we'll remember what you did and we'll come for pay back." The adventurer said as he scoffed and put his sword away.

Bell and his party did the same once they felt the murderous intent escape from the air.

"Th-thank you for saving me." The low level who was wearing mostly beginner equipment said as he got up off the ground.

"Don't mention it. Do you know that guy?" Welf chimed in.

"No I don't. All I can tell you is that he is part of the goddess Hel's familia."

"Okay, well is there anything else we can help you with?" Bell innocently asked.

"No I'm fine. Thank you for your help again." The adventurer said as he bowed down his head to Bell and then swiftly left.

Bell's party didn't think much of the threat of the child of Hel. That was until a few days later.

During the late hours of the night as the guild hall was closing up.

"So Eina, ya got any plans?" A voice called out.

"Ah no. Not tonight anyways." Eina replied in her sweet voice that could leave most men entranced. She was a half elf, her father was human and her mother an elf. She has short brown hair and emerald eyes and wore a pair of glasses most of the time while she was working. She was an advisor for the guild and helped out adventurer's.

"What about you, Misha?"

Misha was an advisor like Eina, she has short pink hair, though it was slightly longer than Eina's, and her eye's were the same color.

"Nah, I'm probably just gonna go home and rest. Having to deal with those people from the Soma familia are exhausting and now with those people from the Hel familia causing trouble in the dungeon. I'm not sure how you can put up with this."

"Well you just got to take things day by day." Eina replied, trying to offer her friend advice.

"Oh? Are we sure we aren't talking about a certain white haired adventurer?" Misha said in a teasing manner.

As Eina heard Misha's comment she instantly turned red, all the way to her ears.

"N-no it's not like that. Bell is an adventurer and I am his advisor. Just that, his advisor." Eina stuttered out trying to hide her blush.

"Sure. Well anyways I'll see you tomorrow."

"Alright be safe!" Eina waved to her friend as they both went their separate ways.

While walking back to her home, Eina had to turn down an alleyway that branched off of the main street. It was poorly lit but was the size of a normal walkway, big enough for at least two people walking by each other.

Eina was minding her own business, thinking about what Misha said about Bell. It was stuck in her mind now.

'No, I can't let my personal feeling interfere. He is an adventurer and it is my job to guide him.' Eina thought.

She was so lost in thought that she didn't realise that someone was behind her, following her. Before, she knew it a hand covered her mouth and another hand wrapped itself around her picking her up. She tried to scream and kick but it was no use. The man was strong, he had to at least be a level two to be this strong. Then everything turned black.

In an instant the man and Eina were both gone, as if neither of them existed.

Down on a spot on the 18th floor, surrounded by forest.

"So what are we planning to do with her?" A voice questioned.

"We're gonna use her as bait. He made a fool of me and now this pay back time."

Eina was waking up as she had passed out in the alleyway. Before her stood four large adventurers, all brandishing weapons as if they were preparing for something. Out of all the men she spotted who seemed to be the leader. He was probably the tallest and strongest of the four. He wore a hood that covered his head and a mask covering the left side of his face.

"Ah, looks like sleeping beauty is awake. How'd you sleep princess?" The man asked in a teasing tone. His voice was harsh.

"What do you want with me? Who are you?" Eina asked as she struggled in her restraints.

"Well people call me 'The Ripper' so that's what you can call me. We're children of Hel and I know you're the Little Rookies advisor. He made a fool out of me so now is time for revenge."

'No anything but that. Not Bell.' Eina started to panic. She didn't know what they were planning. She didn't know what she would do if he was hurt for her sake, but deep down she really wanted him to come save her.

"Well, now we wait for your little rabbit to peak his head out."

Eina knew that negotiation was off the table. She also didn't want to make the situation any worse for Bell so she remained quiet.

'Please, be safe Bell. Come be my hero.'

Later at the guild.

"Hey, Ms. Misha!"

"Ah, well if it isn't Eina's favorite adventurer. What can I do for ya?" Misha asked Bell casually even though she already knew what he was gonna ask since he's been in and out of the guild all day.

"Have you seen Ms. Eina? It's weird for her not to come into work."

"Sorry Bell, but I haven't heard from her. Maybe she's sick today. I wish I could tell you but even we don't know."

"Ah, well thank you." Bell asked defeatedly as he walked out of the guild.

Back at Hearth Mannor, the home of the Hestia familia.

"So have you guys heard of this 'Ripper' guy." Welf asked, as he was talking to Lili and Mikoto about their latest trek into the dungeon.

"Yeah, apparently he stalks the dungeon. Do you think that's the guy that we encountered earlier?" Mikoto added.

"Maybe, there really wasn't anyone else there except us so if it was him he must have gotten sloppy. Chances are that it won't happen again." Lili said knowing that this slip up would be rare.

"Ah, welcome home master Bell." Haruhime interrupted the group's conversation as she saw Bell enter the room.

"What are you guys talking about?" Bell asked as he overheard their conversation as he walked into the manor.

"We're discussing the rumors around this 'Ripper' guy." Welf quickly answered as he turned over to face Bell. "Well any luck with finding your advisor friend? You said that she never misses work and you've been in and out of the guild all day."

"No, she still hasn't shown up at work. Well anyways I'm gonna go to bed early and head to the guild tomorrow to see if Ms. Eina shows up."

"Alright, night rabbit boy." Welf said waving with a smile to Bell.

"Good night master Bell." Lili, Mikoto and Haruhime all said in unison.

'The manor sure is quiet since goddess Hestia isn't here. She said that she had some business to take care of because of the whole Ares incident.' Bell remembered as if Hestia was present she would either be arguing with Lili or hovering over Bell right now.

He walked into his room and saw a note left on his bed. 'Is it from goddess Hestia?' Bell picked up the note and read it quietly.

"Little Rookie, we have your friend, Eina Tulle. If you want to see her alive come down to the 18th floor alone, or else we can't guarantee her safety. Signed, The Ripper."

In a blind fit of anger, Bell tore up the note. He snuck out his window as to not alert the others and ran towards the dungeon and slaughtered every last monster that stood in his way to the 18th floor.
