A/N - Well back to the grind. I am happy with how this chapter and even this story is going. So far I know that these chapter have been slow but I promise that in the next few chapter things will start to pick up and not just between Bell and Eina.

Anyways enjoy!

The next morning Bell woke up from a strangely calm sleep. He looked around and saw that Eina was standing and just staring out his window. She seemed to be lost in thought.

"Good morning, Ms. Eina." Bell said with a yawn.

"Bell, I know you just got up but can I ask you a question?" Eina was serious. She spoke in a stern demanding voice.

"S-sure." Bell simply responded.

"Why… why are you an adventurer?"

Bell was a little surprised by this question as Eina is his dungeon advisor so she should know his reasons. But, even now Bell believed that those reasons have changed.

"There is someone that I want, no, need to protect and then there is also someone I need to catch up too so I know I am able to protect that person." Bell said in a stern voice with his mind made up on his decision.

"Bell, before I do anything I would like to ask you one more question." Eina turned to Bell who was sitting on his end of the bed.

"Okay, go ahead."

"Will you train me to become an adventurer?" Eina said with a fire lit in her eye's. She didn't want Bell to see her as weak. She didn't want Bell to save her because she knew he wasn't always going to be there.

Bell was stunned by her request.

"You want to become an adventurer and you want me to train you?" He wanted to make sure he understood.

"Yes, you're the only person I can turn to. You are my hero Bell and I want to fight with you." Eina said calmly.

"Okay. But just know I'm not the best teacher and you also have to be sure about this."

"I am. I have made up my mind." She said with a smile. This being the first time she had smiled since they got back. "I just have to talk with the guild about me taking my leave. I could arrange for Misha to be your new advisor."

"Alright. Let's start your training after lunch. It will give you time to get some stuff from your home and take care of the guild. If you would like I'm certain that goddess Hestia would let you join."

"I would like to join your familia. What would I need to bring from my place?"

"Just some clothes to train in. Stuff that is easy to move in. Don't worry about weapons, we have training weapons so you can see what you like." Bell said now excited but worried.

The two finished their conversation and Eina gets ready to head to the guild. Luckily no one else in the house was awake yet so Bell was able to see Eina off through the front gates.

Before she could leave however, Eina said one thing to Bell. "And Bell one last thing. From now on just call me Eina. Okay?"

"Okay mis- I mean Eina." Bell said with a smile and a blush on his face as she walked away.

'That's going to take some getting used too.' Bell then turned and retreated back into the manor.

At the guild hall

As soon as Eina walked through the door she was greeted by a familiar voice, "EINA! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!" Misha shouted at the sight of her dear friend.

"Misha, it's okay I just needed to take a personal day."

"Personal day my ass. You disappeared without no one knowing not even Bell." Misha stopped shouting but was still talking rather loudly.

"Listen, now isn't the time to discuss it. I just need to make some arrangements with you and I need to speak to Royman."

"Okay? Royman is up in his office." Misha was questioning Eina's attitude. She couldn't put her finger on it but she was acting differently.

Eina then made her way past the counter and to the guild head's office. She knocked on the door and a reply came almost instantly.

"Come in!" The guild head called. Eina walked into the rather small office. Royman spoke as soon as the half elf entered, "Eina, where have you been? Why didn't you tell us you were going to be gone?" Royman was basically asking the same questions as Misha.

"Something came up and had to be taken care of." Eina responded not wanting to tell anyone what had transpired the day before.

"Well you missed a whole day's wor-." Eina cut off his rant.

"That is actually why I am here. I am requesting a leave from my duties here at the guild." She said in an unmoving tone.

"You want to quit?" Royman asked, confused.

"Yes and I would also like to place the care of Bell Cranel under Misha."

"Eina, you have been with us for a long time and always did your job exceptionally well. It will hurt the guild to see you go. But, you have your reasons and I can tell you changed. I won't argue." Royman was taking the news about Eina quitting very well. She expected him to protest against it but he didn't. Even he sensed the change and determination of the half elf. "I will make sure personally that Bell Cranel is placed under Misha's care."

"Thank you sir." Eina then bowed in gratitude and headed out the door.

Back in the main lobby of the guild.

"So Eina did everything go okay?" Misha asked at the first sight of her friend.

"Yes. Though I do have something to discuss. Can we go to a private room?" She questioned.

"Sure just come with me." Misha then led the way to one of the rooms that advisors use when they need to speak with their adventurers.

"So what did you need to discuss?"

"Well to put it bluntly. I am leaving the guild and I'm going to train to be an adventurer." As soon as Eina said this all the color flushed away from Misha's face.

"What!? You can't be serious Eina? Why do you want to be an adventurer all of a sudden?"

"Well to be honest I don't think I'm ready to tell the full story yet. What I will tell you is that I realized that I need to be stronger."

"Okay Eina. I don't like this decision but if you feel that it's something you should do then you should do it."

"Thank you, Misha. One last thing, will you be my dungeon advisor? After all adventurer's need a dungeon advisor."

"Sure Eina. I'd be happy to help you the best that I can." Misha said with a supportive smile.

"Oh and Royman said that he is going to transfer Bell to you."

"Oh great more paperwork." Misha teased jokingly, rolling her eyes as Eina left the room.

Back at Hearth manor

There was a knock on the door and Haruhime went to answer it.

"Ms. Eina, how can I help you today?"

"Hello Haruhime. Is Bell around he told me to come back around lunch."

"Yes, please come in. I will go get him." Haruhime led Eina into the main living room of the manor and she took a seat on the couch while Haruhime disappeared to retrieve Bell.

After a few moments Bell walks into the living room where Eina had been waiting.

"Alright Eina are you ready?" Bell asked, making sure he had everything for training.

"Yes. I'm ready when you are." Eina responded rather excitedly.

Bell looked up and started to blush a little when he saw Eina's outfit. She didn't have her glasses but wore a plain t-shirt and a pair of shorts. He was always used to seeing her in her guild uniform and the one time that they went out on a "date."

"O-okay let's head out back." Bell stuttered out quickly looking away trying to get into a training mindset. Eina then got up and followed Bell out back past the garden and to an open flat patch of grass. Bell set down a pile of practice weapons and laid them all out. Bell being Bell picked up a wooden knife.

"Alright choose whatever weapon you feel would fit you." Bell then showed off all the weapons.

Eina almost instinctively went for a short sword. She didn't know why but she felt that this was what she wanted to try.

"Okay so now that you have a weapon try getting into a fighting stance." Bell instructed. Eina then put both of her hands on this hilt and angeled her legs. Bell then walked over to Eina to inspect her stance.

"First you need to relax a little. Your legs are too stiff, bend your knees a little bit. This way you can move around easier."

"Like this?" Eina asked as she shifted her stance.

"Yes. Now do some practice swings to get used to your weapon."

Eina responded with his instructions and she seemed to quickly pick up what to do.

"Now, we're going to try some sparring. I'll come attack and you need to defend."

"Okay I got it." Eina said with determination in her voice.

After some time of Bell and Eina sparring the sun soon went down and the two didn't realize that they basically just practiced for half a day.

"Well Eina you did a good job for your first time training."

"Ah th-thank you." Eina said, trying to catch her breath while sitting on the ground. Bell joined her and they both looked towards the setting sun.

"Eina. I'm gonna ask you one more time, are you sure you want to become an adventurer?" Bell worriedly asked making sure Eina was absolutely sure about her actions.

"Yes I am Bell. Plus there is no going back now. I already quit my job at the guild though granted I could get it back but I need to move on." Eina responded to Bell's concerns.

Bell added to her plans for the future. "Well how about you join us for dinner and then we can talk to Hestia about you joining us."

"Alright that sounds good to me."

Bell then stood up and reached his hand out to her. "I will stay by your side Eina. I won't leave you."

Eina grabbed Bell's and they stood like that for a moment till Haruhime called for them to come inside. The two heeded her call and headed inside to get changed before going to dinner.

The two entered the dining room where everyone else had been waiting. As usual Hestia and Lili looked annoyed that there was another girl hanging around Bell. Haruhime, Mikoto, and Welf didn't seem to mind.

Even though most of them had met, Bell introduced Eina to everyone. "Guys this is Eina she is going to join us tonight."

Eina then bowed down to greet everyone. "Hello, it is nice to see you all again." The two then sat down next to each other. Everything was quiet and peaceful but Bell could feel the glares of Lili and Hestia pointed at him every so often.

After their meal, Bell asked to talk to Hestia in private. They went to the familia office where Bell and Eina sat down across from Hestia and a deafening silence filled the room.

"Goddess I have something that I need to talk to you about." Bell was slightly concerned about Hestia. He didn't know how she would react exactly.

"Go on I'm listening."

"Well you see I was wondering if you could interview Eina. She wants to be part of our familia."

This caught Hestia off guard. She then released a sigh of relief and began to answer him, "Well, Bell let me ask you this. Do you think Ms. Advisor here is capable of becoming an adventurer?"

"From what I've seen today with some more practice and training I think she would make a great adventurer." Eina blushed at Bell's statement, he continued. "She is quickly picking up the skills needed to fight."

Hestia spoke in a soothing voice calming Bell's nerves, "Okay now Bell for this next part I would like to talk to her alone. If I may?"

"Yes goddess." Bell excused himself and quickly left the room.

"So now I have some questions for you Ms advisor."

'Hestia is never gonna change that nickname will she.' Eina thought to herself. It's not that it bothered her but she wasn't an advisor anymore.

"Why do you want to become an adventurer?" Hestia simply asked.

"Well there is someone that I need to catch up too and I don't want them to see me as weak."

Hestia felt a wave of nostalgia come over her as those were basically the same words Bell had said to her when he first started out as an adventurer, and when he was saved by Ais Wallenstein.

Hestia already knew her verdict after that one simple answer, she pointed up and she stood and announced. "That was the answer I am looking for. Welcome to my familia."

Eina was overjoyed that now her goals were within reach and being in the same familia meant that she had more time to spend with Bell.

"Thank you goddess. I promise I will do everything I can." Eina said with a bow.

"Now why don't we get this over with and I will give you my blessing. Just sit over there and take off your shirt." Hestia instruced. The half elf eagerly did as she was told.

Hestia took a pin and pricked her finger allowing a drop of blood to splash on to Eina's back. With a flash of light Hestia's blessing appeared and along with that Eina's stats which Hestia inspected and was shocked at what to find.

Strength - I 0

Endurance - I 0

Skills:

Liaris Freese - Fast growth as long as feelings last. The strength of the effects corresponds with the level of the user's feelings.

Hestia was stunned to see that Eina had also developed Liairs Freese. Though as expected she was quite close to Bell and even has the same goal as him when he first developed it. A lot of circumstances were more similar than they seemed.

"Well there you go. You know have my blessin and are ready to start your journey."

"Thank you goddess." Eina put her shirt back on, took the paper, and walked out of the room.

'Great now another thing to hide.' Hestia thought exhausted by the fact that she had another secret to keep.

After a few moment's Hestia called for everyone to meet in the main living room.

"Now everyone I have an announcement to make. As of this moment we have gained another member. We welcome you, Eina Tulle to our familia." Everyone clapped and cheered for her as she started to turn red from all the attention. Hestia continued after the celebration died down. "Haruhime will show you to your new room." Haruhime then guestered and Eina quickly followed her.

"Here you are Lady Eina." Haruhime now addressing her in a more formal tone.

"Thank you Haruhime. I am grateful for your help." Eina said with a gentle smile and the fox girl bowed and left Eina in her room.

A moment later there was a knock on the door. Eina rushed to open it and she saw Bell standing outside.

"Congradulation's Eina now you're officially part of a familia."

"Yes but I couldn't have done it without you Bell." She then pulled him into a quick hug. "What time should we start training tomorrow?" Eina added speaking almost like an excited child before christmas.

"How does around 8 sound?"

"Sure I'll be there." Eina said excited that a new chapter in her life was starting.

"Well get some rest. Good night Eina."

"Good night Bell."
