The truth revealed

Ambrace asked for a oneshot of *6x12 spoilers!* Killian coming clean to the Charmings about killing Charming's dad.

Killian wasn't able to take it any longer. He and Emma were getting married in less than a month. He couldn't start married life with her with a lie hanging over them both. Emma deserved the truth, as did Charming. So knowing he had no other option, Killian gathered Emma and her parents round Emma's living room and admitted the truth. He had been the person who had killed Charming's father. He then braced himself for a quick punch in the face. When none came, he opened his eyes again. It was clear Charming was furious, and Emma and Snow were deeply hurt.

"David…"

"Don't." Charming snarled. "Don't say my name." Charming took Emma's wrist and got her behind him, he then repeated the process with Snow. He didn't want either of them accidentally getting caught in the crossfire if he couldn't hold his temper in for much longer. "You knew? You knew all this time and you didn't say anything?" Killian looked at the ground, ashamed. "Answer me!" Charming demanded. Killian looked up, ashamed of himself.

"I realised after we spoke to Pinocchio. I didn't know before then, I swear mate-"

"I am not your mate!" Charming bellowed. "Not anymore." Charming's hands balled into shaking fists. "You no longer have my blessing to marry Emma. You murdered her grandfather. I'll be damned if my daughter is marrying a murderer. I was a fool to believe you'd actually changed. Once a pirate, always a pirate." That stung Killian. He had changed.

"Emma, please-"

"Don't talk to her." Charming snapped. "Just go." Emma placed a calming hand on her father's arm.

"Dad." She said gently. "This is between Killian and me…"

"Between you and Killian?! He murdered my father and you expect me to walk you down the aisle to him?" Charming snarled. Emma understood her dad being angry, she would be too. She was. Killian had lied to her. But if there was one thing Emma had learned from her parents, it was that couples had to talk things out. Emma knew now wasn't the right time, though. Emotions were running far too high.

"Just go just now, Killian. We'll talk about this later." Killian nodded and quickly left. Emma turned to her father.

"I know you're hurt and that you're angry, I can understand that, but he has changed, dad…" Charming scoffed.

"Charming." Snow said gently. "Emma's right." Charming knew that she was, but it didn't take away the pain. How was he to be expected to move on from this?
