AN: Got bored and had this idea floating around for a while. Don't know what it is with me and Joker parallels. Maybe I'm just desperate for more good Batman content. This may or may not be a one off. Depends on reception. But my other fic takes priority. Think of this as a side bar. Criticism/ feedback greatly welcome,
WARNING: the following story may or might contain dramatic violence, gore, language, mention/act of rape. Maybe character death, we'll see...Really every bad thing imaginable, you get the idea. Don't read if sensitive to reasons people get sent to hell for.
I claim no ownership of the Justice League nor Hazbin Hotel. Those belong to the respective owners
EDIT: Hey all. Reading the reviews one thing is made very clear to me...I failed to make Batman the badass he is. Alastor basically bitch slapped him and Bats let him. That's not good is it? Sorry gang, next time I won't rush through it just to push another fic idea out there.
It's nice knowing however, you guys are at least interested in the concept though.
Enjoy~

The message was relayed to the long table of the League. Everyone remained silent as it was played.
"This was received a couple hours ago." Superman informed.
"I was not aware Hell had a Princess. How are you certain this claim is true?" Green Lantern asked.
"I've met her a couple of times. Her title is accurate." Dr. Fate said.
"There you have it." Green Arrow scoffed
"This is a most troublesome issue. What shall we do?" Martian Manhunter said.
"Work to put her in power obviously. I see no other option." Doctor Fate stated.
"Disregarding your word, we have little to trust her. How do we know she won't be worse?" Hawkgirl scowled.
"It's simply a matter of sitting down and talking to her, dear. Despite being the antichrist in all but name, she is quite welcoming during my visits." Doctor Fate assured.
"I'll need to see it to believe it." Flash doubted.
"I'll call upon Zatanna for a rescue. We must restore what little order there is left in Hell. Trigon needs little to prepare for all out war. Charlotte is now the only means to prevent that." Doctor Fate firmly stated.
"Very well, report if you need backup. We can't afford to lose our two best mages. I only wish Batman was present so he could weigh in on all of this. He most likely had a contingency for just this outcome." Superman sighed.
"Bruce has been too focused on Gotham as of late. A checkup is in order." Wonder Woman huffed.
"I'm sure he has a good reason for it. Especially to ignore a sudden Priority A call to action like this." Superman assured.

Severe Rain
Gotham City, Park Row
Batman glided around the vast and dark city of Gotham. Police reports have been ringing in his ear all night. Multiple murders all over the city have been reported on the news. Thing is, it was exclusively on radio stations and before the police knew anything.
This was a novel MO unlike anything he's seen in his current Rogues Gallery. Either one of them has taken an interest in broadcasting, or this was a new psycho all together.
Batman found the body, it was fresh, the blood was still warm. He just missed the murderer. He narrowed his eyes at the corpse. A young woman, mid twenties, long blonde hair and bloodied holes where the eyes once were. The throat was slit, no signs of struggle, she was snuck up on.
The body was mauled, almost like an animal attack. Claw marks and teeth marks showed across the body. The stomach was ripped open, the ribcaged snapped and discarded for her organs, leaving an empty husk. The skull slammed open in search of the brain, the fragments leaving a gruesome picture.
Whoever or whatever did this was a strong individual, most likely male. The body was naked, the clothes ripped off and set aside, bloodied and soaked by the rain. As Batman looked down he noticed the lower half was not spared. The thighs were cut to the bone, meticulously. Batman noticed the genitals were ignored. So much so it seemed the being was disgusted by it.
Blood trails were being washed out by the rain, Batman would have to be quick to track this monster down before the trail vanished. He called GCPD about the body for pickup, it'll be identifiable by dental records at least. The family however will be scarred by the state of the woman.
Handprints confirmed it was a human, it has been a while since Batman dealt with a cannibal. A common trait among criminals was insanity, and that was clear in this case. The killer was animalistic with the torso, but he seemed to have gotten full, going for the eyes, thighs, and brains for seconds. Batman was disgusted at that, whoever this man was was going to be locked up for a long time.
The trail led to an abandoned building nearby. Batman swooped down to the ground, and kicked the door in. Immediately the smell of blood hit his nose, another thing that hit him was the music playing upstairs. A static filled vinyl record was playing swing jazz from the twenties. Batman saw the fridge in the kitchen covered in blood. He opened it to find the missing pieces of the girl. Her thighs and eyes are wrapped up and preserved. The brain was missing, either he was out and already had eaten it, or...the man was still home...feasting.
Batman walked upstairs, the jazz got louder and louder, he approached the door and opened it.
A slim, but tall man was sitting with a leg crossed eating the brain of a woman. The man wore glasses with brown eyes and neatly kept brown hair. His suit is old and torn, almost from a bygone era. The most distinctive part however was the smile. Wide and big showing off his teeth. Clearly not sharp enough for what he saw.
But the person was clearly the one who did it. Took a calm and long sip of blood in a wine glass, seeming to enjoy the current state of things greatly.
"Ah...the Dark Knight came. The tales were true. You are quite a frightening fellow." the man said. A transatlantic accent came out of the killer's mouth, a southern accent seeming to want to creep it's way out.
"You're coming with me." Batman scowled as he walked up to the table.
"Such rudeness, my good man. You didn't even let me offer you a bite." The man's smile somehow got bigger, showing his bloodstained teeth.
Batman was quick to slam the man's head on the table, and cuffed him. The man chuckled as he was led outside. Batman called the Batmobile and pushed him into the backseat.
"Shame...I didn't even get to finish my meal." the man said.
Batman didn't humor him with a response. He drove off to the GCPD lockup. He tried not to let the man's laughter get to him too much.
It reminded him too much of a clown that has given him one to many nightmares.

GCPD Lockup
Severe Rain
As Batman walked the man through the halls, officers looked at the man in disgust. He just smiled that smile of his back, seeming unaffected and uncaring of their stares.
"Such a fine dinner you interrupted my glum fellow. You simply must make it up to me~" The man chimed.
Batman slammed the man against the wall to shut him up. That was only met with more laughter. Batman narrowed his eyes. This man was enjoying this too much for him to claim his evening was ruined.
"Batman, good so see you brought this freak in. Let's go buddy." Lieutenant Aaron Cash said as he and Commissioner Jim Gordon walked up. Cash took the man for ID and lockup. Jim stayed to thank the Dark Knight.
Batman knew he could leave now, but something was off about that man, the body markings didn't add up to his build. His arms were lean but not enough to slam a skull into the pavement.
"I'm sticking around for questioning, Jim. Something doesn't add up with this." Batman said as walked behind the two men.
"This is pretty open and shut if you ask me, but I won't stop you." Jim responded.
"Ah, you humble me Batman. Just when I thought this night couldn't get any more entertaining." The killer said.
As the killer held up his inmate ID number and stood in front of the camera, Jim walked Batman aside. The smile was somehow wider as the pictures were taken.
"We don't have any records of this guy anywhere. It's almost like he popped out of nowhere. Did you find anything?" Jim asked, as he looked at the man through the one way window.
"No. No one in my database matches this man either. I don't like this." Batman narrowed his eyes on the man.
"This guy gives me the creeps. We already have the damn Joker, why does he have to smile like that?" Cash asked.
"You're never fully dressed without a smile my friend." The man said through the glass.
All three looked as the man smiled wickedly through the glass. Seeming to be able to see and hear through the blacked out window.
"Put him in meta containment." Batman practically ordered. The cops holding him were quick to follow such instructions.
"Give me five minutes. Alone." Batman said.
"I'll give you ten." Jim said, a little shaken up by the man's prying eyes.
Cash walked the man into a heavily armored cell designed to hold metas. The man just smiled as nothing else mattered except the man in the bat costume. His eyes never left the Dark Knight, Batman noted that he never blinked once during the past ten minutes.
"All yours." Cash said as he shut the door behind him. The only thing separating the two was a heavily fortified glass that allowed integration.
A minute passed in silence with the men staring at one another.
"Well, aren't you an ungracious host? Such a deep frown you have." the man said.
"Who are you? Noone beside Joker has this little on them." Batman demanded.
"Ah, yes how rude of me. At my feast I forgot to introduce myself. Name's Alastor, quite a pleasure to meet a man of your...let's say reputation." Alastor said.
"Why did you kill all those people? Are they connected in some way?" Batman asked.
"Connected? The only way they connect is that they disgusted me. " Alastor shook his head.
"So you have no motive whatsoever for killing an innocent woman?" Batman growled.
"Innocent is hardly the word, the woman was quite annoying to me. And the multiple crimes I saw her do were quite gruesome." Alastor revealed.
"You still smashed her skull in and ate her brains. Which brings me to your strength, are you a meta of some kind?" Batman pressed.
"Not quite, though why spoil the fun so soon? I'm sure in a matter of hours you'll fully know the truth of my power anyway. Night is still young after all." Alastor said.
"You're quite clearly delusional then. This cell is built to withhold even more power than you. A mere skull destruction is child's play compared to what this cell can take" Batman narrowed his eyes. Everything about this man didn't add up at all.
"Thank you for the compliment. I'm not talking about myself however, nonono! I'm referring to the world at large." Alastor smiled, seeming to lead Batman on.
Batman was unimpressed.
"You are no fun. The "World's Greatest Detective" isn't the slightest bit curious about my little hints?" Alastor teased.
"Why don't you get to the point? You say you're not talking about yourself. Who are you working for? What is your game?" Batman gritted out.
"Oh..It is a game Batman...a game you could never hope to win." Alastor said, his voice deeper in a threatening manner.
"Talk." Batman demanded.
"Yes indeedy~. Such a spoilsport. Wanting this all to end before it even begins. You're lucky I still am offering an easy way out." Alastor beamed.
"You're insane to think I would take any offer from a man like you." Batman growled.
"How about a deal then?" Alastor asked, his voice lowering to sound almost like a growl.
"You are in captivity, men on all sides loaded with guns, there is no way out of this other than a court of law." Batman rejected.
"Oh? How about this? I want just a little something, something I doubt you want anymore anyway. Give it, no...merely lend it, and those little birds you fly with don't die." Alastor tried to intimidate.
"You have something in store other than all the killings don't you? Whatever it is, it won't work." Batman growled.
"Oh, but it will, my Knight. See, I know a great secret. One so hilariously stupid, that I just couldn't help and bite the bullet and come up to this dreadful city, to see it for myself. A secret that you can't live without." Alastor smiled wickedly.
"What would that be?" Batman narrowed his eyes.
"Oh, we all know what it is, don't we? I wouldn't dare spill the beans in front of the boys in blue. Especially the dear commissioner. What would he say about what you allowed his dear daughter to do for years?" Alastor grinned.
Batman narrowed his eyes. This man just hinted at knowing Oracle's identity, and how she's been working for him for years without her father's knowledge. That means…
"Are the cogs turning in that dense head of yours, old boy? Or do I have to spell it out more for you?" Alastor taunted.
Batman growled back at the man, fist clenching in anger.
"My, the old butler certainly hasn't taught you well in detective work, maybe I should-"
"WHO ARE YOU? AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THESE THINGS?!" Batman roared.
"Hehehehe...It is quite simple my dear fellow. The dead tell all tales." Alastor smirked.
"You're speaking nonsense. The saying goes the opposite, now TELL ME!" Batman demanded.
"Oh dear, I revealed too much. Oh, your father would be so upset that I revealed so much about his dear son!" Alastor said dramatically.
"You have five seconds to tell me what you know." Batman threatened.
"Same to you as to our arrangement." Alastor chuckled.
"What do you want from me? What have I done to you?" Batman hissed.
"You? Oh, nothing! This is merely fulfilling my end of the bargain. So many clamored to try and take the Dark Knight on. But I was the only one approached. The deal was too good to pass up, and my debt will be paid extraordinarily for my service." Alasor explained.
"Who hired you then?" Batman growled.
"Ah,ah, ah~ First you must consider my offer! I would much simply adore finding some deal to make with you~" Alastor purred.
"What do you want? More money? I expected more." Batman scoffed.
"Oh, nononono no! I already have substantial wealth. I want something more than that, my fine fellow." Alastor proclaimed.
"What is that?" Batman asked.
At that, the whole room turned red, weird symbols appeared in the air. Alastor's eye's started to glow a bright red.
"Your soul." Static filled Alastor's voice.
"What the hell are you?" Batman growled, not threatened by the nightmare the room had become.
"Last chance Dark Knight. Give your eternal soul to me, or I'll burn this city to the ground." Alastor chuckled, the laughter glitching out to the state.
"Never." Batman hissed.
"Then let the game begin~." Alastor laughed.
The meta containment cell started to glow a bright red, Alastor flicked the window and it cracked, sending the message that the cage wouldn't hold him.
"Take him down!" Batman ordered.
Officers were quick to activate the electric flooring under Alastor's feet. But the man was quick to slam out of the cell before the electricity reached full power.
Tentacles crashed through the walls and Batman was quick to respond by throwing multiple batarangs at the man. Alastor was quick to swipe them away and charge Batman, managing to down the Knight before he could react, putting Batman into a choke hold.
"Look at me…" Alastor said, Batman did and saw the horrifying change. Alastor's teeth sharpen, yellow and razor-like, his smile stretching to inhuman lengths. His skin paled to a ghastly gray, his nails lengthed digging into Batman's armor and drawing blood around his neck. His eyes and hair turned even more blood red.
Batman struggled against his hold, grunting in pain.
"Shh...don't worry...I won't kill you...not yet...It is so unlike me to do so...but...Tonight...I want to play with my food." Alastor whispered in Batman's ear.
"What the hell are you…" Batman choked out.
"The word hell holds so much more power than you think. Those killed by those you fight have so much hate. So little to lose. To think they would come to me...for their vengeance...in exchange for their souls. Alastor smiled, he let go of Batman, leaving him to catch his breath.
This was a mistake...Batman immediately threw batarangs at the demon, the projectiles cutting into Alastor's grey flesh. Not letting up, he grappled the table to slam against the demon's back.
Alastor grinned at this and summoned his staff. He spun it with his fingers and charged at Batman.
Alastor and Batman traded blow for blow. Alastor grinned at Batman's forcity, this deal was only getting more and more entertaining. Though Alastor was not the martial artist Batman was, as the Knight counter the staff and delivered an intense combo on Alastor's abdomen. The demon's head was then slammed against the concrete with such force, that a little crack formed from the impact.
"*Chuckles* I knew this would be more fun than that hotel." Alastor chuckled deeply. The demon then grabbed Batman and threw him through the concrete wall.
Batman tumbled in pain before flipping back into a fighting stance. The knight narrowed his eyes as he calculated the risks and rewards of each tool on his utility belt that had enough force to theoretically take this demon down.
But now they were out of the confines of the interrogation room, and with that brought...
Multiple policemen rushed to Batman, weapons drawn, fear was etched on their faces as they took Alastor's true form in.
"HA HA perfect. Watch Dark Knight, watch all these fools die, because of you." Alastor whispered.
"HANDS TO YOUR HEAD FREAK, I WILL NOT HESITATE TO OPEN FIRE!" Cash yelled.
"Hello again my hook handed friend~. Tell me, do your armed forces have families?" Alastor asked grinning ear to ear. Batman was quick to tackle him to the ground and try to pummel him out of commission.
Alastor threw Batman far across the hall, he straightened his jacket and addressed Cash and Gordon who stood in front of him guns srawn.
"The fuck are you talking about?! HANDS UP OR WE'LL DROP YOU DEAD!" Cash yelled back.
"Dearest Gotham Police Department. My deal does not pertain to you. I am here for the Knight and nothing more. I will only say this once. Run away or die." Alastor warned.
"Not happening sir. Please don't resist." Jim ordered.
With that Alastor sighed and raised his hands. He then snapped his fingers.
Suddenly, portals all over the walls of the station opened, and out came massive black tentacles. The police immediately opened fire, the arms shielding Alastor from their annoying gunfire., grabbing the police and throwing them into the walls, crushing them, or piercing them.
"EVERYONE RETREATS!" Jim ordered as Alastor started floating and summoned a massive amount of hellfire. The area around him glitching and filling with deafening static.
Batman threw massive amounts of batarangs at the tentacles, the weapons exploding on impact. The explosions allowed some men to get free and ran for their lives. As the sprinkler system activated water mixed with massive amounts of blood and gore.
Batman rushed to save Jim and Cash so order could be restored in the GCPD. But first he pulled out weapons Fate had given him in case a thing like this would ever occur.
"The new King was very clear about how they wanted you to be dealt with, a gruesome and slow death, physically and mentally. Let us focus on the mental side for now, hm?" Alastor hummed.
Batman threw the batarangs that were doused in holy water. Finally, the demon reacted in a way he could appreciate….pain. .
Alastor's eyes turned into dial's as tentacles crashed into the walls and grabbed multiple officer's. They opened fire on Alastor, the tentacles blocking any bullets from hitting him. His smile heavily strained as Batman quickly adapted to the enemy in front of him.
Before Alastor could try and one up the Knight, Batman was quick to zip to Alastor's chest and slam into the demon. The force made Alastor release the officers and let the cops flee.
Alastor, tired of the burning sensation felt by the pesky objects, was quick to grab Batman with his tentacles and slam him against all walls in the room. Batman, ignoring the pain, stabbed the long black arms with his holy weaponry.
"*Hiss* Troublesome fellow aren't we?" Alastor growled in pain, the demon summoned his staff and spun it, releasing a massive eruption of hell fire at Batman.
Batman tried to dodge, but the sheer width of the fire was unavoidable. Even in his heavenly fire retardant suit, his skin started to burn from the heat. Alastor was quick to zoom over and stomp down on the Knight's back.
"I wonder, what makes a man like you break? What means must I employ to truly deal with you?" Alastor pondered.
"You'll never be able to find out." Batman gritted out.
Alastor offered a closed smile, taking glee in the man's reluctance.
"I FOUND HIM! GET OFF OF HIM FREAK!" Cash screamed through the flames.
One tentacle slammed into Aaron Cash as he fired at them. But the bullets did nothing, as the tentacles wrapped around him violently and dragged him toward the demon.
Batman was quick to respond, trying to beat Alastor to the punch. But was met with nothing but air.
Alastor reemerged into view, far from Batman down the burning halls. Cash was brutally dragged down towards the demon. Alastor took note of the man's missing limb, Cash's strong convictions.
This man did nothing to get on Alastor's bad side. A few measly bullets wasn't enough to warrant what the demon was about to do. He took pleasure in killing, the hunt thrilling and extremely rewarding in its hardship.
This kill along with the dozens of burnt corpses, was too easy. Too boring.
But a deal was a deal. His target, his hunt rushed towards the demon. Batman's options were limited in the confined spaces of the burning station.
Trigon did offer a unique challenge, Alastor smiled at the man's will. He'll make sure to savor this hunt.
"This will be the first of many, Dark Knight. Dear sir, any last words?" Alastor asked politely.
"NO!" Batman screamed, throwing every holy batarang at the demon in a vain attempt to stop him.
"Go to hell." Cash choked.
"Why sir, I've already been HAHAHAHA!" Alastor laughed as the tentacles all pierced through Cash, blood pooled on the floor. Alastor then threw Cash's lifeless body to the floor.
Alastor disappeared into his own shadow before being hit by the Dark Knight's weapons.
"Aaron….no...I'm… I'm so sorry." Batman whispered as he stared down at the lifeless body.
Alastor felt such pleasure in the man's pain, watching him fall to his knees.
"A dull kill, but the effects it had on you was so...delicious." Alastor chuckled, unable to be seen by the hero.
"You sick bastard. I won't rest until I stop you." Batman hissed.
Alastor just chuckled at the man's stubbornness. He leaned in close to Batman's face and whispered into his ear.
"Oh Mr. Wayne, I'm just getting started." Alastor snapped his free fingers and the whole building started to rumble, walls cracked, and windows broke. Screams of terror filled the whole station and Batman was quick to focus up and rush to save as many as he could.
"Save who you can, Dark Knight. I do love watching fools cling to hope as they inevitably trip and tumble down into the fiery pit of failure." Alastor chuckled deeply, falling silent and fleeing the scene.
Batman grunted as he rushed to evacuate the crumbling building. The fires filled the halls with the smell of smoke and burnt flesh.
This was just the start of something even bigger.
Trigon's invasion has just begun….

"DO do do Dooo~ Gotham Radioooo~" A tune chimed.
"Good evening, tonight has been met with an unforeseeable tragedy. The Caldron police station has been completely obliterated. Currently it is unknown just how many have died in this accident. But as the fires grow more and more fierce as our firefighters work to save who they can...things are looking grim. We just got word that Commissioner Jim Gordon was pulled from the fires by Batman, the hero going in and out with firefighters to save as many as he can.
The question on everyone's mind is, what caused such a tragedy to occur?
*Static*
"Good Evening people of Gotham. My name is Alastor, but those who fear me simply call me the Radio Demon. Though I have a distaste for nicknames, either will do as I burn this city into the ground."
"Your Dark Knight has so rudely declined my offer of eternal servitude in return for your lives. So all of yours will have to do instead. Blood will run through the streets, orphans will be made, the said children will not be spared."
"Your delicious flesh is mine to eat, your blood mine to drink. Batman will not be able to save you, the Heavens themselves will not be able to save you. All that is left to accept, is that Hell is now on Earth"
"So dear listener, what will it be? Eternal damnation, or begging on your knees for mercy? Your choice. In the meantime, stay scared, stay delicious, and stay tuned~"
The radio filled with static and was then overtaken by old timey jazz for the foreseeable future.
Alastor has now claimed his new territory.
