Sharing too much

Codi asked for a oneshot of Emma and Snow being at Granny's and Snow asking Granny if she can knit Neal a blanket just like Emma's, and that Emma still uses hers every night. Emma gets really embarrassed. Snow tells her there's nothing wrong with not being able to sleep without it and this makes the situation worse for Emma. Red teases her a little too.

"He's just not taking the pacifier anymore." Snow explained over her morning cup of hot chocolate. Snow was starting later at the station, so was joining her mother and Neal for breakfast before heading in to meet her dad at the station. "I don't think it's just teething. He's just not settling properly at night. I was wondering how you would feel about knitting another blanket? You know, just like the one you made for Emma when I was pregnant with her?"

"Yeah, sure. I'd love to. Gotta do something with this semi-retirement time." Granny joked. Snow smiled, delighted.

"That's so great. I really think it will make a difference. Emma still uses hers every night…" Emma just about choked on her coffee.

"Mom." Emma hissed, her face going scarlet. Both Emma and Granny smiled at her, only making her face even redder. Snow chuckled.

"Honey, it's nothing to be embarrassed about. So what? Who cares that you can't sleep without your baby blanket-"

"I can so sleep without it!" Emma quickly interrupted her before she made it any worse. Granny was already trying to hold in her laughter, and Emma could hear Red laughing in the kitchen.

"Make sure they're not too much alike, otherwise Emma might get jealous!" Red called from the kitchen. Emma groaned, dropping her head into the crook of her elbow on the countertop. She could still hear her mom, Red and Granny laughing. Having parents in her life was great, but it wasn't half embarrassing sometimes.
