Gyro noticed that the conversation wasn't going to continue and that Johnny was asleep not a mere five minutes after the incident. The blonde man wished he'd said something sooner as it was too late now. He felt restless, if only Johnny had said something sooner maybe they would have been able to talk through it like they had done so many times before.

He stared at the sleeping boy and wondered to himself if he was going to sleep like that he would have to put the fire out soon and it wasn't exactly this was a warm night far from it, but he didn't dare put the clothes on for him while he slept he imagined it would cause more problems than it was worth so he put out the fire and began to wind down looking at the stars trying to sleep but he couldn't. He couldn't stop thinking about Johnny.

It must have been an hour or so later Johnny woke up freezing, he remembered going straight asleep after the ordeal without dressing and now was regretting it. Gyro, who was still awake, simply smiled in the boy's direction. Johnny in return smiled back. It eased the tension at least but he was still cold.

"Johnny ?" Asked Gyro.

"Yeah?" Replied Johnny

"Do you want to continue where we left off ? "

The small boy looked again at Gyro's direction with wide eyes, of all the things he was expecting gyro to say ... well that wasn't on the top of his list. Those sort of things only happen in fairy tales or romance novels and as much as he enjoyed those things they never were reality just someone's imagination.

"Do you mean that or is this another one of your jokes, if it is it can wait until tomorrow. "

"Judging by the sky I would already say it is tomorrow Nyhoh ~" replied Gyro playfully.

"You know what I meant . " spoke Johnny with a defeated sigh, he was so lost with this, was Gyro serious or not. They had spent many months together but mystery surrounded that man.

"I'm not joking Johnny if you want we can continue. Just give me a warning next time, I didn't know you felt like that towards me. If your feelings are true I can help you express them, to feel them. You shouldn't have to bottle them up out of fear, the worst that would happen is that I reject you and we move on as if nothing happened." explained Gyro lifting himself up and moving towards Johnny's direction and sitting down to where the boy had now propped himself up to, still covered in that blanket his head barely popping out the horseshoe on his hat being the only defining feature he could make out under starlight.

"Of course I want to, you can tell that no? Why am I the one having to be direct, you know how I felt I saw you looking at me funny when you were cleaning my cuts. You knew damn well I could've done this but you did it without saying anything. " Johnny blurted out, he wasn't in control of his own words yet he wasn't lying. Gyro could've let him tend to his wounds although the purple shirt man did it all for him without a second thought.

Why?
