She held her own

A guest asked for a oneshot of *6x15 spoilers!* Emma filling Charming in about Snow challenging the Vikings at darts and beating them. Emma thinks her dad will freak out, but he's really just proud of her for holding her own and winning.

"No, I'm serious!" Emma insisted as her dad burst into fits of laughter. Emma pointed at her sleeping mother. "Piss drunk, and she decides to take on a bunch of Vikings. Vikings, dad!" Charming just kept laughing. Emma didn't understand why her dad wasn't freaking out. "Did you miss the part where I said Vikings?" She asked. Charming shook his head.

"No, that part was pretty clear, Em. Relax, it was just darts. Besides, even 'piss drunk' your mother is the best shot I know. Sounds like she held her own." Charming smiled proudly. "I married one tough woman." Emma huffed. Why wasn't he getting this?!

"So if we were having this conversation, but I told you it was me who got bladdered and challenged a bunch of drunk Vikings, even if it was just to a game of darts, you'd still be this impressed?" Emma asked. Charming's face fell slightly.

"Well, no." He admitted. Emma stood up.

"See!" She pointed out. "It could have ended in disaster! She took the piss out of the horns on their hats! Vikings aren't known for their chivalry. What if they'd attacked her?" Charming tensed slightly, but still didn't seem as emotional as Emma.

"Well, then I would have had to have words with them today. I would have to nip up to the hospital and find what ward they were all on though, because your mother is more than able to take on some Vikings, especially if she's confident enough to make fun of them."

"Oh, so if I…"

"It would be different if it was you." Charming interrupted her, knowing what she was going to say. "And before you say it, yes, I'm well aware that you would have left them in hospital too, but still, you're my baby girl. Your mother might be my wife, but she doesn't need me to protect her." Emma's eyes narrowed dangerously in a way that heavily reminded him of Snow.

"Are you saying I do?" She asked him. Charming smiled at her.

"Of course not. I know you're a tough woman too. It's just different." Emma rolled her eyes. She felt like her dad just wasn't getting this!
