Hey guys, welcome back! I really can't wait for you to read this story; as you can tell that I have put a lot of work, not only into this story but on completing this full series (I know I have already said this). I can't wait to see what I have in store for you all, I await to see what you think. Much love, RSD xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo.

Me and Ben had a few more days alone on our honeymoon; however after the whole 'divorce' matter everything went ok. Ben still had nightmares; and every time I held him and reassured him as he cried in my arms. Yes it still killed me; but I felt that Ben leaned on me a little bit more which I really valued. Yes the nightmares had now shifted so he was now dreaming about me and Bobby in the hotel room; but after I held him for a short while he seemed more settled each time this happened. In my eyes this was a good thing; it showed me that Ben was getting better at handling his nightmares - which I was over the moon about.

When me and Ben returned back to Auradon Castle it felt a little bit surreal; of course I had stayed here before but due to the fact we now had a private home I wanted to go back. I loved the fact that it was just me and Ben in our own home (apart from the brief interlude where Adam and Belle came to see us) and to return back to the real world made me nervous, as we were now going to have to deal with the trial.

When me and Ben walked into the main hall we were greeted by Adam, Belle, Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs Potts and Chip; again this felt surreal. I just couldn't get over how things had changed now that me and Ben were married; but I knew that I had to get used to these things as this is how it was going to be from now on. I loved them all so dearly anyway; they had become my family and I couldn't wait to share the rest of my life with them.

Ben made sure that I was settled in the central suite with Belle before he went off to go and work in his office with his father. I could tell by the look on his face that he wasn't looking forward to helping get the evidence collected together but he knew that he had to do it. I made a mental note to check on his part way through him doing this; as I anticipated that he probably was going to have nightmares after working on the trial.

After me and Belle had shared an afternoon tea I then excused myself to take care of another piece of business - speaking to Fairy Godmother about the magic that I had used. As I went to turn to leave Belle told me that she was going to be in my library if I wanted to join her afterwards - which I accepted.

Me and Fairy Godmother ended up having quite a lengthy conversation about what had happened when Ben had been kidnapped; it was decided that it couldn't go unnoticed without the Fairy Council knowing about it. I fully accepted this; I knew that there was probably going to be consequences for the magic that I had used and I would accept what the Fairy Council told me. Fairy Godmother also advised me that my meeting with the Fairy Council couldn't happen until after the trial as we couldn't afford for any of the evidence being leaked. So we both decided that after the trial had been completed we would then discuss a date, which made me feel better about this situation - as it felt like it was coming to an end, finally!

A couple of hours after my conversation with Fairy Godmother Ben came to see me and his mother to tell me about a decision that he had just made. He told us both that as me and him were directly involved in the case he was going to get the Chief Justice of Auradon to rule over the case. This actually made me feel better about this situation; as me and Ben weren't going to be involved in the proceedings then it wasn't going to turn into a slinging match in the courtroom - well as much as it was going to be. I knew that Bobby wasn't going to be able to keep his comments to himself; and I even knew deep down that there was going to be claims that the case had been treated unfairly due to the fact that Ben was ruling. The fact that Ben had taken himself out of the situation made me start to feel better about the trial; it was bad enough that we were going to have to give evidence and sit through that infernal hotel room video! I just had to keep telling myself that it would be over soon, and hopefully this would finally be the end of this whole sorry mess.
