After collecting my bouquet of flowers that consisted of dyed blue and purple roses me and Evie then slowly walked through Auradon Castle as we made our way to our main hall. All the way that we did this I couldn't help but envision the life that I wanted for me, Ben and our baby. I started to think about giving birth to Ben's baby, reading to our baby, making memories and living a happy and very fulfilled life. I loved the pair of them so much; and I wanted to make sure that they were both happy and had everything that they wanted.

When we walked out of the main hall and towards the closed carriage that was waiting for us I watched as a light layer of snow was still falling to the ground around us. I couldn't stop a smile spread across my face at the sight of this; this made today even more special. Ben was such a winter baby; and he loved the lead up to Christmas which is why I suggested that we got married in the winter months.

Me and Evie slowly and carefully climbed into the close carriage; and as Ben's staff closed the door behind us we both shared a big smile with each other. We were now one step closer to us getting to Auradon Cathedral; but most importantly it was one step closer to me being back in Ben's loving arms - which is something that I was very craving in this moment.

Thankfully the ride to Auradon Cathedral wasn't very long as before I knew it the closed carriage was pulling to a stop; and I couldn't help but note that my stomach started to flutter. However I put this down to the fact there were the crowds waiting outside screaming, cheering and clapping; and also the fact that the whole council and our guests were currently waiting in the Cathedral with the rest of our family.

I started to feel relieved when my hyper sense heard Ben, Adam, Azis and Chad muttering amongst themselves as they waited for my arrival. Just hearing his voice suddenly put me at ease, this was something that I loved about Ben. No matter what he always managed to calm me down and help me feel better; he knew what to say and do which really astounded me.

"Mal" I heard Evie say.

"Yes?" I replied as I looked over to her.

"You've got your Ben thinking face on" she teased.

"I would apologise about that-" I began. "But I'm not going to," I chuckled. "Have you seen my husband and father to my baby?" I sighed as I started to think about my husband once more.

"Yes; but I can't really comment as he's yours" I heard her say, which made me look over to her once more.

"Damn right!" I exclaimed and we both giggled before the carriage went silent. My mind then started to think about the fact that neither of my parents were at my wedding. Yes there was a point in my life in which I never thought husband, babies or marriage would ever come into my life. So I wasn't like most girls who had thought about their wedding from an early age; growing up the thought actually repulsed me. However now that my life had changed I wanted nothing more than to be with Ben, love him and give him the children that he wanted. And also as this was now my life it would have been nice to have my mother and father here but I knew this was never going to be the case for two reasons. First of all it was too far dangerous to let either of them out of the Isle for our wedding but secondly and most of all, our relationship wasn't at that stage where my parents would even care what I was doing or who I was even married to, unfortunately.

"Mal" I heard Evie say, which broke me out of my train of thought, thankfully.

"Yes E?" I replied as I slowly looked over to her; and I saw concern etched on her face.

"What's wrong?" she asked slowly.

"Nothing," I replied.

"Don't give me that; you're crying" she told me.

"Am I?" I questioned in confusion as I lightly touched my left cheek with my left hand and I froze when I felt cool tears flowing down my cheeks.

"So why don't you tell me what's on your mind-" she started. "While I try to make it look like you haven't been crying" she offered as she pulled a tissue out of her small bag and she began to lightly dab underneath my eyes.

"Deal" I muttered. "I was just thinking about my parents," I told her. "I am never going to have a normal wedding am I?" I questioned rhetorically. "No mother of the bride, no father walking me down the aisle" I sighed sadly.

"Mal" she replied. "Try not to fixate on what you are missing" she advised soothingly. "Concentrate on what you have," she continued. "Ben, your baby, Adam and Belle and us" she reminded me happily. "That is what matters" she finished proudly. I nodded at this; Evie was right. I needed to concentrate on what I have rather than what I don't have in my life. Yes I knew that this may take a little bit of work on my part; but I was going to do it. There was no way that I was going to let my parents ruin the life that I had built in Auradon; they had caused enough damage and trauma to my life when I lived on the Isle.

"You're right," I smiled. "That is what matters," I continued. "I have my family; and I love you all so much" I added lovingly and we both smiled happily to each other.

"We love you too" Evie grinned as she opened her bag and placed the tissue she had just been using on my make up and closed the bag with a brief click. "We are going to need to get you up there" she stated. "If we stay down here any longer Ben will come looking for you; and the fact you have been crying will not help you cause" she continued.

"No," I answered.

"It's a good thing I am good with makeup" she smiled as she quickly checked my makeup over once more. "As you are back to looking perfect, so try not to cry" she winked at me. "Not until you get to Ben anyway" she teased.

"Hey!" I exclaimed as I pretended to be hurt. "What is that supposed to mean?" I questioned in mock innocence.

"As soon as you and Ben see each other you will probably cry" she replied. "You are both sensitive souls," she added.

"You know there was a time when I would have beat you up for that" I teased.

"Yes" she nodded. "But that is what Ben and living in Auradon has done to you" she added.

"And I wouldn't have it any other way" I said happily as the door opened. I then waited for her to slowly and carefully climb out and when she did this I heard the crowd outside erupt in louder cheering. I heard Ben suddenly go quiet in the Cathedral which told me that he knew that I had arrived; and this gave me the push to slide over and I slowly and carefully began to climb out of the carriage. When my feet touched the ground the crowds started cheering, clapping and shouting out to me; I turned around and waved to the crowd, which only made the crowd cheer more as the press took photos of me in my dress. I stood there for a few minutes to allow them to get the photos that they needed before I turned around and linked Evie and we began to slowly walk up the stairs of the Cathedral.

"I think they loved your dress" I smiled at her as we got to the top of the steps.

"You mean your dress" she amended as we stood still and looked at each other.

"Evie this is your creation" I replied happily.

"Yes" she nodded. "But it is your wedding dress, she told me. I turned to answer her but my eyes then saw Ben standing with him back to me as he stood with Adam, Azis and Chad. I took an involuntary deep breath. This was it! In a few moments I was going to be stood with Ben; I heard Evie giggle at me which made me tear my eyes from Ben to look at her.

"Come on you" she giggled. "Before you run up that aisle" she joked.

"I know you are kidding-" I began. "But I would totally do that" I said mock seriously.

"I know you would" she giggled again and we started to walk into the Cathedral; and towards the love of my life, who looked just as anxious to see me as I was to see him.
