Everyone is a little dark
GrantL1991 asked for a oneshot of DO Emma continuously terrorising her parents in their home and it begins to get to them. One day, Charming gets so angry that he yells at Emma. Emma reminds them that they have darkness in them as well (a reference to what they done to Lily) and poofs away.
The "You hate Charming/all men/your father crew, please just miss this one and save yourselves the aneurism. Remember I write what I am given!
"You always did love a quiet night in." Snow and Charming tensed. This was getting out of hand. "I don't seem to recall an invite. What, is this the beginning of me being disowned? It didn't take you very long after Neal was born now did it?-"
"We had a funny feeling you'd show up without any invitation needed, Emma." Snow sighed. "As you've been doing since we came back from Camelot." Snow and Charming didn't know how to get through to their daughter. Ever since they'd come back, she had been randomly appearing in their home, terrorising them. They had tried everything they could think of. Confronting her gently. Trying to divert the subject and convince her to give them back their memories. They had even tried ignoring her. Nothing worked. Whatever they did gave Emma more fuel to hurt them with.
"Bit assuming of you, really. But that's you two all over. You assumed I'd break the first curse and reunite our 'family'. You assumed I'd be ok as the new Dark One. You assumed that Killian-". Emma stopped herself. "The point is, the pair of you make a lot of assumptions about me. I wouldn't be surprised if you'd assume I'd give up in the end. How could I though? I live for these precious family bonding moments. It's wonderful seeing you both gush with joy over all the things you can do with my replacement that you knew before I was even born you wouldn't do with me." Snow took in a sharp intake of breath. Missing Emma's childhood was still, and always would be, a touchy subject for the couple. Charming couldn't take much more of Emma doing this to them.
"Enough!" He yelled. Emma raised an eyebrow, smirking. "You think this is funny? We're your parents! How dare you speak to us like this! You might be the Dark One now, Emma, but these are clearly things you've buried from before this all happened. You're hiding something, Emma. Hiding it from all of us. It's why you've taken our memories away. You've never been a coward, Emma. Don't let becoming the Dark One mould you into Rumplestiltskin."
"Charming." Snow said. She knew he was angry at Emma, she was too, but this was playing right into her hands. Emma's smirk only widened.
"You talk of my darkness, but what of your own? Do you think what happened to me covered your own black hearts up? No." Emma began to circle her parents slowly. "You hypocrites." She hissed. "Standing there, judging me for how I deal with the darkness when you haven't actually offered to help me. You just stand there, pleading for your memories. I find that especially amusing when you consider how much you tried to forget your own dark deeds." Snow and Charming shifted guiltily. Clearly Emma still wasn't over finding out about Lily. "And how useless they were too. Here I am, heart black as coal." With that, Emma poofed away, leaving Snow and Charming feeling defeated.
