"As in connection to the diary entries just shown it was mentioned that Kendal had provided photos and maps of Auradon Castle-" Gareth began. "This is the next piece of evidence that you are about to see if the plans that were given" he added as he picked up his clicker and he pressed the button down making the screen change and the plans that Kendal had given to Bobby appeared. "As you can see it has been marked to show which ways are the best way for entry" he advised. "I can assure you all that this has now changed since this has happened" he told the jury, which made them all nod at this.
"I think that this evidence can show that this isn't what the defence claims-" he started again. "This supports that this wasn't just a period of insanity, this scheme was planned over a period of a couple of weeks!" he exclaimed. "I may be no psychiatrist but I have done many cases in the past that have given me the experience to say that periods of insanity do not just go away after someone has been caught!" he stressed. "The period of insanity would have fazed out over time and their irrational behaviour would have shown through interviews, which I can stress members of the jury. It did not-" he advised but stopped when Bobby's lawyer stood up.
"Your honour" she urged.
"Yes Miss Smith?" Chief Justice Williams answered.
"I fail to see how this beratement of my client is going to help prove his point" she answered bluntly.
"Mr Grey?" Chief Justice Williams said as he looked over to Gareth.
"Yes your honour?" Gareth answered politely.
"Is there a line of inquiry here?" the Chief Justice enquired.
"Yes Chief Judge" Gareth nodded. "But as it seems to unsettle the defence, I will change my line of inquiry" he offered.
"Thank you" the Chief Justice smiled.
"Moving on-'' Gareth began again. "This is the collection of photos that Kendal provided" he quickly added as he clicked on the clicker again to see the photos start to show on the power point presentation. I started to feel a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach; I hated the fact that the photos of me and Ben lying in bed had to come into evidence. Thankfully you couldn't see anything; we happened to be clothed. Which was a wonder in my opinion, as we spent most of our time in bed together naked! I just hated the fact that members of the public were being given an intimate look at mine and Ben's relationship - and when the press gets hold of this they are going to have a field day!
"As you can see the first set of photos are to match the maps that were given-" I heard Gareth say which broke me out of my train of thought. "However there are also some sinister photos" he advised. "Like state exhibit 4753 for example" he stated and I watched as one of the very photos I had been dreading came onto the screen. "Moving on-" Gareth advised as he slowly showed the court the series of photos of me and Ben in bed together, but in different angles. When finally a blank screen came on I sighed as I rested my head against Ben's shoulder. I knew that it was to stress our point; but I felt like me and Ben was putting both of ourselves under a lot of stress - I just hoped that it was going to be worth it in the end.
