Meeting the Easter Bunny
A little one of my own :). Happy Easter, everyone!
Important: As usual, if you have a request based on tonight's episode, great! All I ask is that you give me a spoiler warning before your request.
Extra important: Guys, I think it's time for me to accept something…I think it might be time to end Our Charming Family. I'm just not getting any requests anymore, and without them, there is no story. I will of course take feedback and opinions on board, but right now, I'm thinking when season 6 ends, so does this story.
"This is ridiculous…" Emma grumbled under her breath. Snow gently kicked her daughter's foot under the table. Emma still couldn't believe that this was happening, or that she was being made to attend such a meeting. It was like a sugar induced dream. How could the Easter Bunny be real?! Why did they need to have a meeting with him about the resources required for this year's hunt in Storybrooke?!
"There are currently ninety-four children under eighteen residing in Storybrooke." Charming told the weird looking rabbit, checking his notes to make sure. "So, if that's alright with you, that would mean a minimum of ninety-four eggs." The bunny nodded, its little nose crinkling. Emma had been warned before this surreal meeting that she was in no way to insinuate that the Easter Bunny was cute. Apparently he found that degrading. So she restrained herself from awing at his little nose twitch.
"That shouldn't be a problem. That was within our estimations of the numbers." He replied in what Emma found to be an unsettlingly deep voice. "We had calculated for somewhere around a nice even one hundred." The rabbit then perched up on its hind legs and gracefully hopped off of the stool provided quietly onto the ground. "If that will be all, Your Majesties, I had best be making tracks. A busy time of year for me, you see."
"Yes, we quite agree." Snow said kindly. "Thank you once again for the joy you provide these children." The Easter Bunny bowed, and Emma found that yet more disturbing. Even worse than his spectacles. He then hopped off in the opposite direction, his fluffy little tail bobbing away.
"That did not just happen." Emma said quietly, watching him go.
"It did." Charming chuckled. "We have a quick meeting every year. He doesn't like to be in any human realm for too long, though. He knows some of the creatures here have a particular preference for the non-magical form of his kind." Charming explained. Emma grimaced. She couldn't imagine it would be easily explained to the children of Storybrooke if Pongo got hold of the Easter Bunny. Might be a little awkward.
Please take the time to read the extra important note!
