After we all shared a lovely lunch together that was either a light salad and sandwich or a baked potato with various different fillings we all then talked about things that we were all looking forward to.

Of course me and Ben were looking forward to renewing our vows; but this was nothing compared to us meeting our little one. I couldn't wait to hold them and see what they looked at and who they took after. Since finding out that I was pregnant I had imagined every possibility - a boy that looks like Ben, a girl that looks like me, a boy with bright purple hair or a girl with Ben's dark brown hair. In all honesty I knew that whoever they took after didn't really matter, me and Ben was going to love them endlessly.

Adam and Belle also expressed their excitement of meeting their grandchild; they both advised that it has been such a long time since a young child had run through the corridors of Auradon Castle. And they couldn't wait to see them grow up and teach them things and share family traditions with them. This made me smile. I couldn't wait to see our child grow up in a very happy household and family; I felt sad at the fact that I didn't have any family traditions to pass down to them - well I had family traditions but I didn't want our child to be evil in any way.

Evie told us all eagerly that she was working on a new clothing range that she was planning revealing in the Spring; she told us little bits and pieces that it included but she teased that she wanted to be a surprise even to us. She did also ask whether me and Ben were going to reveal the gender of the baby; I then told her that me and Ben hadn't even decided whether we wanted to find out which she nodded to, which made me make a mental note to discuss this with Ben later on.

Jay and Carlos then eagerly told us that they both had some news to share of their own, which made us all look over to them happily. First of all Jay then told us all that he had been approached by another Tourney team and he was considering transferring from the South Riding Stallions. When Carlos asked which team was he thinking about moving to and he grinned as he proudly told us that it was the Great Wall Dragons. I was happy for Jay; as I knew that this would change his life completely; as well as a new team it would also mean that he would now be able to move in with Lonnie and her family. I knew that the fact that Jay had to stay in Auradon and she was still with her parents added some friction to their relationship; but I knew that this move would be put right.

Finally Carlos told us all that he is moving closer to being able to open his own animal shelter; he told us that he was applying for a grant from the government to be able to start getting the plans in place to build his shelter. He also told us to help cover the rest of the costs he was planning to do a number of fundraisers over the next year, which we all promised to help him with.

As I looked around the room I couldn't help but smile at my family; since the four of us had come to Auradon we had all changed so much. I was so glad that we had all found our paths in the world; yes I had to put my dream of owning an art gallery full of my own art on hold for now. But Ben had promised that we would eventually make it come true. And this was something that I could live with; as right now this wasn't a priority to me. My priority right now was looking after Ben and our baby; in all honesty if my dream never came true I was more than happy with that as I had Ben and our baby - and they would always mean more to me than my own life. As I had them, that is what mattered, now and forever.

I began to get nervous as I watched as Chief Justice Williams took back to his seat after everyone took their seats in the courtroom. However I was pulled out of my nervousness slightly when I felt Ben squeeze my right hand with his left causing me to look at him to see the concern in his eyes and I knew why - Bobby was about to take to the stand.

"Do you want to go?" I questioned; if he wanted to leave I wouldn't really blame him and I would do this without question - but ultimately this decision was Ben's.

"No!" he exclaimed as he looked down at me. "We need to see what he says," he insisted, causing me to nod. I wanted to see what he had to say for himself; of course I knew that I probably wasn't going to like it but I needed to try and understand why he had put me and Ben through hell. "And I don't want him to get to us to the point where we have to leave" he finished as he pursed his lips together.

"We are not running away Ben," I told him. "We are fighting this," I reminded him. "Together" I advised as I squeezed his hand with both of mine.

"Together" he smiled meekly as he squeezed my hand back before we both looked back at the TV screen in front of us.

"Let's begin the cross examination," Chief Justice Williams advised.

"Stand calls Bobby Bailey!" the herald called and I watched as Bobby froze at this.

"Your Honour" Bobby's lawyer, Michelle Smith stood up quickly.

"Yes Miss Smith?" the Chief Justice answered.

"I would like to request that my client should be allowed to abstain from being cross examined" she replied which made Bobby pull one brow up in confusion behind her.

"On what grounds?" Chief Justice Williams enquired.

"His plea" she answered and we all watched as the Chief Justice looked over to Bobby before looking back as Miss Smith.

"Miss Smith-" he began. "I appreciate your guidance and advice to your client," he added. "However-" he continued, which made her face drop. "Given the seriousness of these crimes I believe that it would go against his constitutional rights for him not to be cross examined" he explained. "He needs to be able to tell his side of the story. I do take into account his plea in this decision" he stated. "And I know that in fact two doctor's have got involved and made their reports, which tells me that he is fit to cross examination" he finished.

"Very well" Miss Smith answered in defeat. "Thank you your Honour" she nodded as she slowly took to her seat.

"I really can't believe that they would try that," Ben sighed as he shook his head.

"I can!" I laughed harshly. "I'm surprised he let her try that" I stated as I watched as Bobby adjusted himself in his seat. "Unless she doesn't want him to speak?" I suggested.

"Probably" I heard Ben agree. "We both know what he is like, I dread to think what is about to come out of his mouth" he added sadly as he looked back down at me.

"Me too Ben" I agreed as I looked at him. "Me too" I repeated as we both looked back at the TV screen, with both of us not knowing what was about to happen during Bobby's cross examination.
