"So Mr Bailey-" Gareth began.
"Yes?" Bobby answered.
"Why do you disagree with the name chosen for Mrs Adams in this trial?" he questioned; and we all watched as Bobby shared a stern look with his lawyer before looking back at Gareth.
"Because that is who she wishes to be," he answered. "Not who she actually is" he insisted.
"She legally married the King" Gareth reminded him and I saw Bobby grimace at Gareth. "That is one of the names she now goes under" he added.
"Not to me!" he exclaimed. "She will never be Mrs Adams to me!" he called as he balled his fists.
"And why is that Mr Bailey?" Gareth questioned as I watched as Miss Smith debated about whether to get involved but she shook her head and started to look through some papers on the table in front of her.
"Because she is meant to be mine" Bobby answered proudly, as his lawyer shook his head at this. "She can do what she likes. Tie herself to him in any way she thinks she can; but she will and always will be my soulmate" he chanted in a smooth rhythm. "I love her!" he stressed. "She loves me!" he insisted.
"We have evidence against that," Gareth offered.
"Whatever!" Bobby snapped back. "You all saw for yourself" he added as he looked over to the jury. "She kisses me in that video, not the other way around" he smirked. "She enjoyed it," he advised smugly.
"She attacked you" Gareth reminded him harshly.
"In sexual frustration" Bobby shrugged. "She can be quite kinky" he winked at Gareth.
"Mr Bailey" Chief Justice Williams warned. "Only answer the question the state gives you" he added.
"Ok" Bobby nodded.
"Go on Mr Grey" the Chief Justice advised Gareth.
"We will get onto both of your actions soon Mr Bailey" Gareth advised. "I would like to start at the beginning of your relationship" he advised.
"Ok" Bobby repeated. "What would you like to know?" he sang happily. "I have no secrets," he shrugged. "Mal knows this," he advised as he looked over to the camera. "I just hope that she doesn't mind me spilling hers" he laughed.
"Mr Bailey!" the Chief Justice warned again.
"Sorry your Honour" Bobby answered as he put both hands up in defence. "But I need to be honest," he shrugged. "And that is what I intend to do" he advised as he looked back at Gareth.
"You both met on a night out, am I correct?" Gareth questioned.
"Yes" Bobby nodded. "As far as I am concerned the best night of my life" he smiled broadly.
"And why is that?" Gareth asked.
"Because that is the night that I met my soulmate" he advised.
"You only spent a weekend with Mrs Adams" Gareth noted.
"Yes" Bobby nodded again. "Because she decided to end things," he said sadly.
"And you didn't?" Gareth stated.
"No!" Bobby exclaimed. "Of course not" he stressed. "Mal is an amazing person. I felt an instant connection" he told the court. "And she is dynamite in the bedroom department" he advised smugly which made both me and Ben sigh as we shook our heads at this. We knew this was coming; but this didn't mean it was going to be any easier to listen to.
"Mr Bailey" the Chief Judge warned for a third time. "I will not warn you again," he stressed.
"Ok" Bobby muttered. "I apologise to the court" he stated. "But I do press there is going to be some sexual comments; due to the sexual nature of this case" he added smugly.
"That may be the case but the court would ask that you choose your wording very wisely; and be respectful. Especially to both his Majesty and his wife" the Chief Justice advised.
"Very well" Bobby advised as he looked back over to the camera. "For Mal" he advised. "Not him!" he snapped.
"Moving on-" Gareth advised, which made Bobby look back over to Gareth. "You state that you made an instant connection" he noted.
"Yes," Bobby said.
"You were in a long term relationship at the time" Gareth continued which made Bobby's face drop.
"Yes" Bobby repeated.
"With Miss Chloe Charlton" Gareth added, and we all watched as Bobby chose not to answer this. "How long were you in this relationship?" he questioned after a few moments of silence.
"Around two years, I think," he finally answered.
"And during that time Mal wasn't the only woman you slept with?" Gareth asked. "Was it?" he quickly added.
"No," Bobby answered. "I think there were around eight others, however Chloe only knew about four of them" he advised and I heard gasps fill the room.
"You don't know?" Gareth asked slowly.
"No," he advised. "I was drunk at the time" he dismissed.
"I see" Gareth nodded. "How did Mrs Adams end your relationship?" he asked, obviously trying to move the conversation on.
"Well Chloe attacked her in a night club after she had found out about the pair of us" Bobby answered. "Stupid cow!" he snapped as the memory of Chloe attacking in the club came to the forefront of my mind. "Anyway-" I heard Bobby say, which broke me out of my train of thought. "When I tried to get in touch with Mal again she told me that it was over; she didn't like the fact that I hid the fact that I had a girlfriend" he explained.
"I see" Gareth repeated. "And was it also at that point when your relationship ended?" he asked.
"Yes" Bobby nodded. "Chloe told me that she wanted to end things; apparently she had enough of me treating her like a doormat" he advised. "Which was her fault really!" he added. "She let me get away with everything, she knew what type of man I was when she started our relationship. I cheated on my last girlfriend to get with her!" he told the court. "But this didn't matter to me," he dismissed again. "At the time I was more concerned about trying to get Mal back," he told us all. "But things changed for the worst" he sighed as he looked down at the floor sadly.
"And what do you mean by that?" Gareth questioned, which made Bobby look up at him with anger in his eyes.
"Because that was also the night that she bumped into him!" he spat. "And they began the relationship that they are currently in" he growled and the room fell into silence. As I began to take in the comments that Bobby had just made; I knew that this was far from over. Yes the comments could have been a lot worse; but I put this down to the Chief Justice's warnings. But I knew that I had to prepare myself for what was about to come next, as Lucifer only knows what was about to happen next.
