Another MOTHER 3 referance in the chapter name. I need to play more RPGs than just MOTHER. I've played the first and third games of MOTHER, I've played Pokemon Sword and a Pokemon fan game, I've played Deltarune… Lego Star Wars: The complete Saga count as an RPG? I haven't played as many RPGs as I thought. I was going to play an early Final Fantacy game once as a kid, but my parents didn't let me so… Hm.

Agents 3, 4, and 8 were struck with shock. Sheldon, great weapon guy, murdered?! Impossible! The kids didn't know what to do or say. They just stared. Four tried to think of something positive. Uhhh… Callie was waering her tentacles out and looked majestic? That only made her more sad, for some reason. Sheldon, oh Sheldon. The world was just too good for crabs like him, Oh Sheldon….

"You three aren't dressed for a funeral," said Cuttlefish through tears. "Here. I made you some funeral outfits. Get changed in the cabin one at a time."

"Yes, sir," they said together.

Cuttlefish handed them each a folded thingy. Three got changed first. He came out of the cabin wearing a dark gray sweater and black pants and black loafers. Four got changed next, and when she was done, she was wearing a long black dress, some sort of hair thingy, and uncomfortable shoes. She hated the shoes, but would do anything for a friend who had helped her so much before he passed. After getting changed, Eight was wearing a suit. It looked much similar to the Japan-exclusive spy gear.

The NSS stood in a circle. Cuttlefish placed a photograph of Sheldon in the center.

"I would now like to take the time to have a moment of silence for our dear Agent 7."

No one said a word. Even Octavio was quiet from his snow globe, but he still seemed annoyed at the whole funeral thing.

"Now, would anyone like to say a few words about the one we lost?"

"I'll go first," said Three in an emo voice. "It's rare you come across a horseshoe crab that generous. My brother is- I mean was, sorry. My brother was an apprentice at Ammo Knights. I would go to pick him up sometimes, and Sheldon would always be there. He would greet me, talk a little, and sometimes even give me discounts. But… but those…. But those days are over. Thank you."

Everyone was crying from what Three had said.

Four volunteered to go next. "Just a few months ago, I was new to the Square. I never watched TV or read the news, and I only got a phone for the first time just then. In short, I didn't have a clue as to what was going on around me. But then, after I followed my instict into the manhole and became Agent 4, I knew that my life had purpose. And then I.. met.. Sheldon. Well, not qyite in person, but I could hear him. He always knew what to use where and he knew how to handle situations, no matter what they were. He knew about everything, from square spiral staircases to how to do your best on Morray Towers. No offense or anything, but Marie was kinda a terrible mentor, and I needed someone serious, someone who was an expert, to help me complete my mission. Thank you."

Callie quietly raised her hand. "Adding on to what she said, if Sheldon wasn't there, I'd… likely be dead! Or… something like that. I don't know how that works. Anyway, thanks, Sheldon."

Everyone nodded and placed a candle, stone, flower, or something else around the picture of Sheldon, and then all seven of them started to cry together.

As everyone was leaving, Pearl and Marina said they'd make a public new report on it as soon as possible, and would hire a professional detective.

"You don't need to hire anyone," said Cuttlefish. "After all, we ARE secret agents, aren't we?"

No one was paying attention to him, so no one answered.

"Hey, Four! You're a secret agent, right?"

"Uh, yeah… I thought you knew that."

"See? You boys are secret agents, too, aren't you?"

"Yes… and?", Eight questioned.

"We're secret agents!", Cuttlefish was now standing on a table. "We can solve this!"

"You're embarrassing me," Octavio muttered. "Please… stop."

And then everyone left.

Unknownst to many, Pearl and Marina lived together with their adopted child, Eight. The duo didn't want the child (who made it to the promised land nearly alone and saved the world) to have to live in an orphanage, so they adopted him. They were actually really good at parenting, for some reason.

Eight was home alone because his mothers were at their studio live with the Sheldon report. He usually watched them from the TV, but he already knew the story this time, so he just decided to play video games. Four had recommended a game series Callie told her about called "Tales of Earth". He decided to look for it on his consoles eShop, and he eventually found and downloaded all three games. The first one was called "Tales of Earth: Songs and Souls". He decided to play that one first. It was a good game, the music was amazing, and was actually pretty into it. He decided to play it all night until his mothers came home. While they were gone, nothing felt better than playing video games and eating junk food all night.

As for Three, he had to spill the news to his brother, which… didn't go well.

"WHO MURDERED HIM?!"

"Look, Jay, I.. I don't know. No one does. It's a tragedy that we can't fix."

"Well, when I find out, the killer will have me to deal with!"

"Can't you just let the police-"

"NO."

"oh god"

"I WILL AVENGE HIM!"

"Jay… Can you keep a secret?"

"Likely not, but please tell me!"

"I'm… a secret agent."

Jay's face went blank. "Wha- Toby… you never… why?"

"I'm Agent 3. Sheldon was Agent 7. You know how he would sometimes be on video calls while working? He was calling me and the other agents for meetings."

"Oh. I understand."

"You better."

Meanwhile Agent 4 was reading a manga okey end of chaptar.

Please… Is there a reason you keep telling me the story of your entire life in reviews? Hmm. Feel... free? Whatever, you do you. Also, I am officially the first human to ever cosplay the Forlorn Junk Heap from MOTHER 3!

Sike not end of chapter because here's one more quick thing:

Callie and Marie had just helped thier grandfather finish moving to a senior center. They said goodbye, and then went back to Cuttlefish Cabin to go to bed. Apartments are BORING. As they turned off the lantern and went to bed, they heard footsteps coming closer and closer closer to them. Terrified, Callie hugged her cousin tightly because she was terrified. The footsteps stopped.

"Hello, girls. Looks like I found you, and this time I killed a horseshoe crab. MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY!"
