After Bobby's lawyer sat back down in her seat Chad was then taken to the dock and he was sworn in. As he was sworn in I couldn't help but note how nervous and anxious Chad looked; however I put this down to the charges that were currently against him. I also think the fact that Ben had refused to see or speak to Chad since his arrest also played a part in it; however this didn't stop Chad from trying. When a failed attempt to get a letter to Ben had failed he then asked his parents to try and intercede which didn't go down well. King Prince Charming and Queen Cinderella advised that they didn't want to intercede for Chad as they didn't want to make things worse for him; but they felt that Ben should have known that Chad had asked him to speak to him on his behalf. Ben thanked them for being honest but he told them that he was so hurt by what Chad was involved in he couldn't speak to him, not yet anyway. King Prince Charming and Queen Cinderella both accepted this - they just hated that Chad had got himself involved in something so horrific. And unfortunately there was no turning the clock back, Chad was involved and there was no way of overlooking that.

"You are Prince Chad Charming of Cinderellasberg and Charmington, who lives at Charming Castle, is that correct?" Gareth began to question.

"That is correct," Chad answered.

"Thank you" Gareth meekly smiled at him. "So let's begin with your involvement with Mrs Adams" he advised. "You have known Mrs Adams since she arrived in Auradon, is that correct?" he investigated.

"That is correct," Chad confirmed.

"And how has your relationship been with her?" Gareth asked.

"Rocky," he admitted.

"Could you please elaborate?" Gareth prompted.

"Well-" Chad started. "When she first arrived I suspected that she and her family were evil and they were all trying to influence us," he explained.

"I see," Gareth noted. "And do you feel that way now?" he added.

"No!" Chad quickly exclaimed. "Each of them have established their own way of life here in Auradon; and they have apparently changed their ways" he stated.

"That would be correct," Gareth nodded. "Have you always got on with Mrs Adams?" Gareth stated.

"Yes and no" Chad answered.

"Could you please elaborate on this?" Gareth prompted.

"Well-" Chad repeated. "Even during their first relationship I had attempted to push my advances on Mrs Adams" he admitted and I nodded at this. At least he was being honest; at least he wasn't trying to hide behind some deluded story like his cousin.

"And why did you do that?" Gareth pressed.

"Well to put it quite bluntly-" Chad started. "I found her attractive," he admitted. "And I thought that I would have a shot with her," he advised.

"I see" Gareth nodded. "And how did Mrs Adams take to this?" he put to Chad.

"She didn't like it," Chad advised. "She dismissed me at every turn; and told Ben what I had done" he advised.

"And how did that work out?" Gareth pressed.

"Arguments between me and Ben" Chad replied.

"I see," Gareth noted again. "Let's move along," he continued. "And what happened after their relationship ended?" he enquired.

"I attempted a number of times on night outs to pull her" Chad admitted.

"And what was Mrs Adams reaction to that?" Gareth asked.

"She would decline my advances" Chad replied as he gripped the dock with both of his hands. "And if I got too close she would slap me or push me away" he added.

"I see" Gareth repeated. "I'm guessing you didn't take a hint," he continued.

"No," Chad said. "I know now that it was very wrong of me; but at the time I thought I had a shot of being with her" he stated. "Which was my mistake" he finished and the room fell into silence. And my mind then started to remember all of Chad's advances towards me; but I quickly pushed this away - yes I was annoyed at Chad but he wasn't the ringleader in all of this. Bobby had got the other members of the accused party involved, but of course they all had to pay - and I hoped they would.

We then listened to Chad then tell the court how Bobby approached him with his idea to get me away from Ben. Me and Ben then cuddled tightly as Chad told the court how he had his own hidden agenda - to have his own shot with Mal. Something of which he kept away from his cousin.

Chad then described to us all about the meetings the accused party shared as they all prepared to put their plan into place. Chad did admit there were periods where he questioned whether they should actually be doing what they were planning to do; however he felt like he had gone past the point of no return, so he had to continue - which I felt was a load of dragon dung. You always had a choice, no matter what situation you found yourself in.

Chad then described them going onto the grounds and attacking the staff, Adam and Belle before finally attacking Ben. He told me that he did struggle with this; as he saw Ben like a brother. It was at this point when Gareth questioned how could he do this to someone who he classed as a brother? To which Chad shrugged and he claimed that he got caught up in the scheme. He then advised that Bobby could be very persuasive when he got started.

It then got very difficult to listen to Chad's testimony when he was questioned about how Ben was tortured. I held Ben tightly as he cried against my right shoulder; I tried to let myself and mind wander away from Chad's words as I continued to console my husband. I didn't want to hear about what those animals had done to Ben; I had already seen and spoke to Ben about this - and as far as I was concerned I wanted to make things easier for Ben, not harder.

Thankfully Gareth tactfully moved quickly away from the torture and moved on to what had happened after Bobby had left to go and meet me. Chad then told the court that Bobby told the five of them that he was going to meet Mal and bring her back to APL; so they could all receive their reward - sleeping with Mal. But this obviously didn't work out this way. Gareth then questioned whether was he aware of Bobby's plan to steal Mal away? And Chad simply said no. Chad then told the court that they were all told to walk around the perimeter of APL to make sure that Ben didn't escape or no one got in to try and save him. He then told the court that before he knew it someone attacked him and they started fighting; Gareth questioned if he knew who it was and he nodded. He said he could tell that it was me due to my striking green eyes - which made me feel physically sick at the fact that he would note and remember something like that. I didn't know what was about to happen with this trial; but I did know one thing - I would never ever forgive Chad, and I never ever wanted to be in his presence ever again!

Gareth then put to Chad that his involvement wasn't due to revenge; it was down to pride and lust. Chad nervously nodded at this; he stated that he had always fancied me. He always wanted to be in a relationship with me, but he had never got the chance to. So when Bobby promised him something special then he felt as if he would be stupid to refuse. Gareth asked him what this 'special thing' was and Chad then looked over to his parents before looking back to Gareth. It seemed like he was thinking about whether he should answer this question; but I thought that this was fruitless - it wasn't as if he could get into any more trouble if he tried.

Gareth pressed the question again; and I froze in horror when the court heard nervously from Chad that apparently Bobby had promised that he could lose his virginity to me. I felt Ben's arms tighten around me once more and I rested my head against his in a bid to make sure that I stayed grounded. We all then heard that Bobby told Chad that he believed that he would be able to persuade me to do this for Chad - as I was so in love with Bobby!

It was at this point though that Bobby tutted, causing everyone to look over to Bobby to see a very sinister look entering his eyes.

"You think I was telling you the truth!" Bobby exclaimed. "I was lying!" he sang darkly as he stood up and glared at his cousin. "Mal is mine!" he fired. "MINE!" he roared as he looked over to the camera and he blew me a kiss, which made me recoil in disgust.

"Mr Bailey!" the Chief Justice called. "Please be quiet!" he advised.

"I'm sorry your honour but I can't listen to how he thinks I would allow Mal to sleep with him!" Bobby insisted. "Look at him!" he pointed harshly over to Chad. "He is pathetic!" he spat and I watched as both the Bailey and Charming family shook their heads in disbelief at this exchange between the cousins.

"Mr Bailey this is your last warning" Chief Justice Williams warned him.

"Very well" Bobby sighed as he dropped harshly into his seat.

"Mr Chad Charming please continue?" Chief Justice Williams offered to Chad, and we watched as he nodded to this.

"He did tell me that" Chad repeated and we all watched as Bobby rolled his eyes at this. "I shouldn't have believed him," Chad said sadly as he looked down to the floor. "I wished that I hadn't" he told the court as he looked up slowly at Gareth, with tear filled eyes, which only made his mother's sob echo even louder around the courtroom.

The court then heard that Chad was very sorry for being involved in such a scheme that nearly cost one of his best friend's life. He stressed that he wished that he didn't let his stupid pride and vanity get in the way of loyalty and being on the right side. He then urged to the court that if he had to do it all again he knew what he would do - he would come straight to me and Ben and tell me what Bobby and the others were planning to do. He the added that he hoped with time that me and Ben could find it in our hearts to forgive him; as he does regret what he had been involved in. In my opinion being Chad's friend wasn't really my decision - it was Ben's. Since they were babies it had always been Az, Ben and Chad; which is why Chad's betrayal both shocked me and Ben to the core. Ben thought that his two best friends would always be there for him and have his back. So even though I knew that with a lot of time I could come to try and forgive Chad this wasn't the real crux of the problem. It was whether my husband could forgive him - and whatever he decided I would stand by his decision without question.
