A guest asked for a oneshot of *6x17 spoilers!* Snowing going through the portal to have some time with Emma. They give her some of the potion so she'll forget about them and go back to Storybrooke.

Sorry, I know I said I'd try to keep the "going through the portal" stories to one per batch, but if I'm going to make progress through the request list so people aren't waiting too long, needs must lol.

It was impossible. There was no way Snow or Charming could be so cold after seeing her. She was so…perfect. Everything about her, every tiny detail. They couldn't leave without her. But Snow knew they couldn't do it. They couldn't leave their friends cursed for all eternity under Regina's reign. They weren't the only suffering parents. Emma wasn't the only child suffering. But still, they had to at least say hello…

"That looks like a good book." Charming commented. Emma jumped, her Walkman hitting the floor, pulling her headphones out.

"Who are you?" Emma asked, alarmed by the sudden intrusion. Snow and Charming looked at each other. They silently agreed that it wouldn't be fair in the short time they had to tell Emma they were her parents.

"We're just…people that care." Snow lied. Emma just raised an eyebrow, and that broke her parents heart.

"Right…anyway, why are you here? I didn't hear you come in." Snow and Charming were keeping Emma's gaze away from the portal.

"We just wanted to check up on you." Charming said honestly. He didn't know about Emma's "super power", but he didn't want to lie to her, anyway. "We wanted to make sure you were ok." Emma shrugged.

"So you're from the social then?" She asked. "Like, some weird, undercover social workers?" Snow and Charming didn't respond, confused by what she meant. Emma mistakenly took their silence for a yes. "I guess that makes sense you'd want to check up on me after the last place." Snow and Charming winced. They weren't sure they wanted to know about the last place. "Well, this place is fine. I get fed, I have stuff. I get to school. That's really all you want to know, right?" Snow and Charming desperately wished they could stay longer. Tell her that no, that was indeed not all they wanted to know. But it wasn't fair to Emma. Snow knew what she had to do now. As stealthily as she could, Snow placed a few drops of the memory potion into Emma's water.

"Your lips look a little dry. Here, have a drink." Snow insisted, passing the glass to Emma. Emma looked confused, but did take a drink. Before she could come back, Snow and Charming slipped back through the portal. Each pressing a small kiss to her temple.

Until we meet again.
