Hey guys! Back at it with the Star Dragon Slayer part 2! Sorry for the wait but thank you for your patience. I've been thinking of ways for this story to be better and give Kiryu a more lighter personality instead of being straight edgy. Tell me what you guys think. The story continues at the beginning of the GMG, with a few flashy here and there to keep the story going. Now time for chapter 1 of part 2.

Crocus X791.

The Grand Magic games. Guilds from all across Fiore entered to become the country's number one guild. But something is going on backstage, a mystery that could involve the dark wizard, Zeref. The scene is a busy road going through the capital city, filled with guilds from all over and people who have come to watch the amazing spectacle that is the Grand Magic Games (GMG). Four hooded figures stand on the side of the road, one holding a news paper, two reading it over the others shoulder, and the fourth leaning against a building.

"Its a good reason why Fairy Tail is getting in on this." The first one, a man, says. That is Jellal Fernandez, the leader of a new anti dark guild group, Crime Sorciere.

The two reading over his shoulder were Ultear Milkovich and Meredy.

"Will they be up to the challenge?" Asks Ultear.

"Of course. I wouldn't have asked if I knew they weren't capable." Jellal responds.

"Or you just wanted to see Erza again." Meredy jokes.

Jellal turns to the fourth hooded figure.

"Thank you for agreeing to help, Kiryu."

Kiryus hair had grown a little longer, being down to his shoulder blades. His bangs still covered his left eye.

"It's nothing as long as I get a hold of the information I seek."

"The library in the castle should have the information you seek."

"And does Fairy Tail know that I'm back?"

"No, we decided to keep your identity secret in the case that someone affiliated with Zeref shows up and threatens the lives of those you care about."

Kiryu nods and Meredy points down the road. "That's where Fairy Tail team A is staying. The rules say to be there by midnight."

Kiryu walks towards the inn. "I'll keep you guys notified."

"And Kiryu." Says Ultear. The dragon slayer stops. "Dont let your personal goal get in the way, or your emotions. We will let you know when it is ok to reveal your identity."

"Got it." He replies, continuing to walk.

It's been a couple of months since then, or more like seven years.

Tenrou Island? 4 months earlier.

Floating on water. Theres something that doesn't happen every day. That's coming from the one that is the second most powerful wizard in a MAGIC guild. Sitting up, Kiryu comes face to face with the first master of Fairy Tail herself, Mavis.

"Good morning!" She says happily.

Rubbing his head, he looks confused, but then again at this point, can he even be surprised.

"What happened?" The teen asks. The island was gone. All there was was a vast ocean.

"I used the spell Fairy Sphere to protect everyone. But I woke you up first for a special reason."

Kiryu cocks his head to the side. "Which is?"

She turns away, looking beyond the vast open water.

"You have come upon a revelation. From what I've heard and seen, you, and Acnologia, are connected, somehow."

Kiryu stands up, looking at the water below. "And why are you telling me this?"

Mavis turns back to him. "Ive never seen myself as a Oracle or anything, but I believe that your destiny is tied to that of your 'other self'."

The boy covers his right eye. He didn't want to admit it, but she was right somewhat. If he wanted to figure out the connection, he had to play along with Dragunov. He looks at the first master.

"What would you have me do then?" Kiryu asks.

"Find some information and see what you can figure out I guess." She says as she ponders what else she can say. "Oh and if I were you I'd start somewhere in West Fiore."

Off in the distance a ship is sighted.

"I guess it's time for the rest to wake up." Mavis says. A bright light appears from below the water. "Remember, while you are on this personal quest to find what your other side is, don't lose sight of who you are."

The light gets brighter, and Kiryu finds himself standing on the shore of Tenrou Island.

An hour later.

The other members woke up and were briefed on what happened by Mavis. But they had noticed Kiryu was nowhere to be found.

"Let's split up into groups and go search for him!" Ordered Makarov.

Splitting into groups of two, Makarov goes searching with Erza, going west. As they search Erza asks, "Master, what do you think of Kiryus other persona, the one named Dragunov?"

Makarov gets a serious look. "I've heard of humans occupying another body, but this is different."

The redhead looks confused.

"For example, Kiryus magic is blue, while Dragunovs is red (a/n: I decided to give their magic a single color instead of what i did, to make it simpler.), I think there is more to this than what we have seen."

Erza looks down. "I can't believe I grew up with him, trained him with Natsu, I just can't believe what he's going through."

As they go around a group of trees, they find Kiryu on the shore, staring out to sea.

"So you were still on the island on that last attack." Says Makarov.

Kiryu turns to them. "Sorry."

Erza walks up to him and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't apologize, you couldn't have predicted that Dragunov would show up."

That reminds the teen boy. "I've got a general idea of what is wrong."

Erza and Makarov look surprised.

"What is it?" Asks the older man.

Kiryu takes a breath.

"It's Acnologia. Him, Dragunov, and I, are somehow connected."

The forest gets silent as Erza and Makarov processed what they had just heard.

"But that's impossible! Acnologia has been around for hundreds of years!" Erza says in protest.

"I know, which is why I need to figure out the truth." Kiryu says as he looks to the master of the Fairy Tail guild.

"I'm going to go find the truth, and this is something I must do on my own."

Erza grabs both his shoulders. "But why alone!? Fairy Tail sticks together and we can't just let you carry this burden by yourself."

Kiryu smiles a little, and pats Erzas head.

"Don't worry. I'm a tough guy. I can handle this."

He looks back at the master. "I've got a lead but I'll need to leave right now while it's fresh."

"Alright, but don't be a stranger, we might need you in the future." Makarov says.

Kiryu sighs. "Alright."

A boat that belonged to Black Serpent washed up to shore and Kiryu walked towards it.

"Once my past becomes clear, I'll return, and explain why I disappeared again."

With that, Kiryu jumps into the boat, and drives off, leaving his family behind, again.

Present day. Motel of Fairy Tail during the GMG.

Kiryu stood on the stairwell of the hotel listening to team A as Makarov likes to call it argue with Elfman.

"Listen, even though Wendy is gone, the

master has another person ready for the team!"

As he says that, Kiryu bashed down the door and jumps onto the walkway into the maze. As he runs down the walkway, he pulls of the cloak, revealing a patch taking up the entire back of his cloak with the Fairy Tail logo on his back. Team A looks surprised.

"Come on! Hes our ally and he seems to know what we are doing! Let's follow him!" Shouts Natsu, pumped up. With that, the team follows.

Hours later they followed the person, only to end up 8th place, or last place. In the hallway of the arena Kiryu sighs.

"It seems I'll have to get them on the board myself." He says, as he walks towards a light, that leads to the arena, that'll decide the position of Fairy Tail in the GMG.

Much later.

Kiryu was up against a member of Quatro Serberous. He couldn't remember his name, but his opponent is an S class wizard, and uses a type of magic that requires alcohol.

I'll have to learn his fighting style as I go on. I won't use my sword for now.

He throws his cloak over his shoulders and looks towards the entrance.

It's time.

Kiryu walks forward.

Why am I hiding myself from them? Do I want to make an entrance? Am I scared of them?

He stops short of the light of the arena.

Only one way to find out.

The boy walks out, ready for battle.

Sorry to treat Kiryu like this. I wanted him to make an entrance, but after this I'll try to make him a non edgy guy. Tell me what you guys what you think. Review!
