Asleep- part 2
Jade Star asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2400 "Asleep" where everyone wakes up after a week. They insist that Regina "takes a break" from being mayor for a week, Emma has the same deal as sheriff and Henry has his video games taken off him. Regina and Henry are annoyed, Emma thinks they're joking.
"I think you can probably let go now, mom…"
"Not a chance!" Snow told her, only hugging Emma and Henry tighter. "I can't believe you did that!"
"We can't believe it." Charming corrected her. "That was so risky. What if we didn't work out how to wake you all up?" Emma smiled at him. The smile she already knew got her out of any trouble with her dad.
"We had every faith in you." She said innocently, prying herself away from her mother's grasp. She nodded her head to Regina. "Regina's good with potions. She knew what she was doing." Emma then gave a disapproving look to her son. "Although I see our agreement that you stay awake went out the window as soon as we fell asleep." She gently chided him. Henry grinned at her sheepishly.
"Well I, for one, think his mother is just as guilty for taking it in the first place." Snow commented. She then turned to Regina. "And the other one for coming up with this master plan." Regina didn't look guilty or phased in the slightest.
"I said I was going to wake you up. Would you rather I left you snoozing for all eternity?" Snow and Charming looked at each other, having one of their silent conversations.
"I think…maybe you could do with a break from being mayor for a week." Charming said gently. "Snow can deal with running the town for a week. Henry, we think maybe you could do without video games for a week as well." Charming then turned to his daughter. "As for you, I think I can handle running the station for a week." Regina and Henry launched into a rant about how unfair Snow and Charming were being, how they had all just done what they had to. Regina was pointing out technically Snow had no authority here to overrule her, but her comments were falling on deaf ears. Emma, on the other hand, was laughing.
"Guys, chill. They're not being serious." She said. Snow and Charming just turned and looked at Emma in their parental way. A look that communicated to Emma that they very much were being serious. Emma stopped laughing, her smile faded. "No, you cannot be serious! You can't tell me when I can and can't go to work! I was sheriff before dad-"
"Yes, that's very nice Emma. One week vacation for you." Charming told her, folding his arms across his chest and looking at her." Emma stuttered.
"I…but…you can't just…ugh!" She threw her arms up in the air, defeated. That was the last time she saved her parents from any darn sleeping curse…
