I'm what?!

Sofi asked for a oneshot of teen Emma being pregnant but not knowing until Snow tells her. Snow notices all the changes in her daughter.

People are going to be very worried about me if they see my recent Google searches for this chapter lol.

"Thanks mom." Emma whimpered as Snow pressed the cloth to her daughter's forehead.

"You're welcome." Snow said gently. She hoped taking the soft approach might encourage Emma to finally open up about what really was causing these symptoms.

"I just can't get any sleep. If I'm not throwing up, my head is pounding or I'm having to run to the rest room." Emma sighed. "I don't know where this infection has come from."

"Oh don't worry. It won't last forever. These particular symptoms of your 'infection' should only last a few more weeks." Snow said pointedly. She was done tiptoeing around this. Emma looked horrified. Had she finally realised her mother knew?

"A few weeks? Is there no medicine Doc can provide?" She begged her mother.

"Not to make this go away, honey. As well you know." Emma looked back at her mom, confused.

"I'm not sure I know what you mean?" Emma told her. Snow sighed. Clearly she was going to have to do this the hard way.

"Emma, sweetheart. I'm not stupid. I've been through this enough times, five, precisely, to know these symptoms very well. I just wished you'd trusted me to tell me." Emma's brow furrowed. Her eyes widened in horror when she realised what her mom was insinuating.

"You think I'm with child? No. No, that couldn't possibly be." Snow grimaced. Emma hadn't been hiding it from her, she just didn't know herself.

"Honey, I think you are." Snow said, taking her hand. "You know how this occurs, I don't need to go into the gory details. Think, is there even the slightest possibility you could be with child?" Emma thought for a moment before bursting into tears. Snow gathered Emma into her arms. This was an outcome she hadn't expected. Snow kissed the top of her head.

"Ok, yes, maybe this wasn't ideal, however, it's what's happening. We can deal with this, Emma. It's going to be ok." Emma just continued to sob into her mother's chest. How could she have let this happen?
