A/N: We've reached the end of part two! This chapter contains some small snippets of Addie's child growing up. I really wanted to show that although Addie has been through a lot, she provided a good life for her child. She is still troubled by her past, but she has poured her whole soul in to being the best mother she can be. Let me know what you think, and be prepared for some fun chapters in part three!

July 31st, 1983

"Molly, please let me help!" I begged from the doorway. I was at the burrow, and Molly was up to her elbows in cooking, but had been refusing to allow me to help at all.

"No! This is your daughter's first birthday. You should be out there celebrating, not in here cooking," Molly refused, smacking me with the dishtowel she had thrown over her shoulder. "Go out there and make sure none of my children are terrorizing your sweet child."

"At least Ron is finally out of the terrible twos – him and the twins were set to send me to an early grave last year," I chuckled, grabbing a plate of vegetables despite her withering glare.

"You and me both. I'm just so happy Ginny has another girl around to play with – I had been so worried that she would grow up terribly rough with six older brothers," Molly admitted, stirring something on the stove.

"Mom!" I heard one of the older boys yell from outside. I popped a bit of peach into my mouth from the cutting board – Molly was making one of her famous peach pies for dessert, along with a massive cake – and made my way outside. I winked at Molly, indicating that I would take care of whatever was going on.

"Bill Weasley!" I shouted when I took in the scene in front of me. He had Charlie in a headlock, and they were wrestling in the mud in front of the pigpen. "Did I not tell you to watch the babies? And what are you doing to your brother?"

"I was! But then Charlie told me that I was only sorted in to Gryffindor because my hair is red, and I just had to show him how brave I really am!" Bill whined, his knee on Charlie's ribs. With one heated look, I had Bill rolling of Charlie and helping him up.

"Sorry, Aunt Addie. Hollyn is fine, Percy is sitting with her and Ginny over there," Charlie gestured wildly over to the field, an abashed look on his face.

"Percy is six," I rebutted, flicking my wand and cleaning the two boys up. "I put you two in charge for a reason."

"Sorry, Aunt Addie," Bill apologized, running a hand through his hair. I leaned down and kissed the top of his head affectionately.

"I won't tell your mother, as long as you promise to go inside and ask her what she needs help with."

"On it! Hey, Charlie, race you inside!" The two boys ran off, racing each other to see who could get inside to help Molly first. I chuckled affectionately. One of the benefits of the last year and a half had been how close I had gotten to the entire Weasley family. It was nice having a big family around – it made my own losses so much easier to bear. And having eight children under 12 running around made everything much more interesting. There was so much childish joy and innocence; they had really helped heal my broken heart. Plus, having Molly and Arthur around to drop Hollyn off with when I had to travel for work had been a complete godsend. I'd taken the last year off of Quidditch, given that I was pregnant, but this year they had encouraged me to rejoin the team. It was difficult, being away from Hollyn for days at a time, but once again Damian had completely worked with me. I was able to go home after practices every day, and was given special travel accommodations for games, so I could spend more time at home.

"Uncle Louie!" I heard yelling coming from the field, and turned to see Ginny waving her pudgy little arms at the road. Lewis was walking towards us, holding the hand of a beautiful blonde woman. Next to him, my father was holding a big box in his arms. I put the plate of vegetables down on the large table set for fourteen. I walked over towards the field, seeing Percy standing, holding Hollyn's hand in his own and supporting her as she tried to wobble over to her Uncle and Grandfather.

My daughter, Hollyn, was standing on her pudgy legs, one-year-old today. It had been a shock to me when she had been born on Harry's birthday, almost as if my life had come full circle. Over the last year, I had expected her dark black hair to lighten to match her father's blonde, or her steel grey eyes to fade to brown. But they hadn't, and Hollyn stood there looking so much like Sirius, that I knew it was fate's way of playing a trick on me. I had lost the man I loved to his inner demons, but in front of me was his spitting image, as sweet and pure as any angel had ever been. Hollyn's face lit up when she saw me, and she ripped her hand out of Percy's to wobble over to me.

I knelt down, my arms out, and picked her up into my arms. I kissed her temple and smiled when she giggled playfully, picking up a piece of my brown hair and holding it in her tiny fist. "Mama!" She giggled, resting her little face against my neck.

"Hi, baby!" I laughed. "Do you see Uncle Louie and Aunt Ellie coming?"

"Aunt Ellie!" Hollyn repeated excitedly, struggling to get down out of my arms. I put her down, and she started to hobble towards the newcomers.

Lewis jogged towards her and threw her over her shoulder. She squealed joyfully, and Lewis spun her around a couple of times. She saw Ellie over his shoulder, and her little hands reached out for her. Ellie took her happily, and held her on her hip.

"Hey, Addie," Lewis greeted me, kissing my cheek. "Hey there little man." He addressed Percy, giving him a high five. Percy was a little shy around my family still, so he turned and bolted back towards Ron, who was sitting with Arthur and the twins by the table.

Ginny put her hands on her little hips, and stomped her foot. Her red hair was blazing in the sunlight and her green eyes were bright looking up at Lewis. Sometimes it hurt me just how much she looked like Lily, but her fiery attitude set the two redheads apart; Lily generally had been sweet-tempered – unless James was involved. I pushed this train of thought away, not willing to ruin what should be a joyous occasion with painful thoughts of the past.

"Uncle Louie!" Ginny wailed. "What about me?"

"How could I forget about you, Gin?" Louie chuckled, bending down to pick her up. She squealed in joy, and when he put her down she took his hand in her own. She started pulling him away, telling him that she had to show him the cake her mom was making for Hollyn. Lewis went with her willingly, shooting a wink at Ellie as the smaller girl pulled him away. Ginny had always been jealous of Ellie, and the couple getting engaged this year had only heightened that. Ginny liked to think of Lewis as her own boyfriend, although she knew that they were related.

"Hi Elle," I finally said, kissing her cheek in greeting. "Still set on that decision to marry my brother?"

"Oh, well, this morning he did burn my toast, so that had me reconsidering. But…" She stuck her hand out in front of her, holding Hollyn with the other, and admired the large yellow diamond ring on her left hand. "The rock is gorgeous enough that I think I'll stick around."

"Let me have my granddaughter," Dad said finally, having waited long enough for his turn. Ellie handed her over, and Dad nuzzled his face against her cheek. "Happy birthday, Holly girl."

"Papa!" Ellie blabbered, still unable to say grandpa or grandfather. I left her in his capable hands, linked my arm with Ellie's and made my way back down towards the party. Ellie had been around enough in the last three years, that everyone called out a greeting to her. Fred and George came running over, their identical faces in matching grins.

"Aunt Addie, Aunt Ellie, look what we found!" One of the twins was holding out a salamander, which was thrashing wildly in their small toddler hand.

"Dad!" Percy was crying. "Tell them that they have to keep it away from Scabbers! Scabbers will be scared."

"Boys, please," Arthur sighed, rubbing his forehead in exasperation. "That salamander better not come in to the house, or your mother will have my head."

"Can we play with it for the rest of the day?" George asked hopefully.

"…Fine. But first thing when the party is over, the salamander goes back to its home, understand?" Arthur conceded.

"Okay! Come on Fred, let's see if it likes pudding."

The twins ran away, and Arthur watched them with a shake of his head. "Wait until Hollyn is that age. I swear, none of the other boys have given us even a quarter as much trouble as those two."

"I think that might just be them, Arthur," Ellie laughed, watching the boys as they tried to force feed different snacks to the salamander. "I'm sure Hollyn will be an angel."

The party flew by in an array of children's antics, present opening, and more food than any of us could handle. The Weasleys had become such an important part of my life – they had taken me in when I had nothing, opened their home to me more times than I could count, and had done everything they could to ensure my daughter grew up knowing she had a family that loved her. They never made me feel shame over her father – although they knew the story – or for who my husband was. They had made me feel joy when I had felt like all I would ever know again was pain. I loved them, and they loved me and Hollyn.

"But Mom!" Hollyn whined quietly into my knees. "I want to go!"

"Sweetheart, you're still too little to go. Fred and George are going to Hogwarts this year, and I promise that they will tell you all about it at Christmas when they come home," I consoled her, kneeling down and smoothing her hair back.

"Yeah Holl! I promise that me and George will write to you and Ginny at least once a week," Fred promised, wrapping his skinny arms around Hollyn.

"Promise?" Hollyn and Ginny said in unison. Although a year apart, Ginny and Hollyn had grown up to be partners in crime. They did everything together; they were the best of friends. Where Ginny was bright and vivacious, with her red hair and green eyes, Hollyn was quiet and sensitive, with her dark complexion. They were perfect complements, and worked together in the same way James and Sirius had.

"Have we ever lied to you?" George asked.

Hollyn and Ginny looked at each other before answering, again in unison. "Yes."

"Okay, fine, we may have fibbed here and there to you, all in good fun, but this time we're serious!" In my head, I heard Sirius saying, "No, I'm Sirius." I shook the thought away. Even after eight years, he still managed to infiltrate my thoughts more than I cared to admit.

Fred and George hopped on to the Hogwarts Express, along with Percy and Charlie. Bill had graduated last year, and Charlie was entering his fifth year.

"Good luck, Charlie!" I called. "You'll crush your OWLs, I know it."

"Thanks, Aunt Addie!" Charlie called back before disappearing into the train.

I stood with Molly as we watched the train pull away. She had Ron and Ginny in front of her, her arms wrapped around them. I held on to Hollyn's hand, glad that I was still years away from her leaving me.

"Molly, you're going to take Hollyn for me right? I have to head back to the Pitch now for a late practice," I asked after the train had pulled away. I saw Wesley Wood standing with his wife, Anna, having just seen his son Oliver off for his third year.

"Yes, dear," Molly assured me. "Come on Hollyn, we're going to bake apple pies today!" Molly ushered the kids off, after I had kissed Hollyn goodbye, with a wave at Wesley.

I walked over to Wes, kissing Anna's cheek in hello. "Ready to go, Wes?" I asked him. Wes had aged gracefully in to his mid thirties, still as attractive as he had been at 25 when I met him. His wife was small, but beautiful – her blonde hair was curled over her thin shoulders and she was dressed fashionably.

"Ready. Should be interesting, huh?" Wes asked. He kissed Anna goodbye, and walked with me towards the floo.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Having Ellie back after the baby. How is Max doing?"

"Finally sleeping through the night. His first birthday is in a couple of weeks, and I tried to convince Ellie to stay home until after, but she says she's been itching to get back in the air since he was born. Lewis cut back his hours at work, so he can stay home while Ellie travels."

"Well, you were back before Hollyn's first birthday. Must be a Jones family trait," Wesley joked. I laughed, knowing that he was probably right but it was a pointed comment. I hadn't gone back to using my maiden name, despite all of the encouragement from my friends and family that I should. I had built my career with the name Addison Black, and I wanted Hollyn to know one day about everything that had happened in my life – including Sirius and Jase. I knew that one day, she was going to question why I had a different last name than her, but I was just happy that the time for honesty was still a ways away. With that happy thought in my head, I stepped through the floo, ready for practice.

December 25th, 1992

"Just imagine, they call your name – Hollyn Jones – and you step up to the front of the entire school and BAM–" Fred began.

"You have to fight a dragon! However you defeat it determines which house you end up in!" George continued.

"If you outsmart it – Ravenclaw!" Fred said.

"If you face it head on – Gryffindor!"

"If you sneak past it – Slytherin!"

"And if you knit it a charming sweater? Hufflepuff!"

"You guys! Don't scare her! I promise Holl, the sorting is nothing to worry about," Ginny cut off the twins, shooting them warning glares. Ginny was back on break from her first year at Hogwarts, and Hollyn was overjoyed to see her, to put it mildly. Ginny also looked somewhat relieved to be home, and I wondered if school wasn't as wonderful as we had all assumed it was. Her letters were always upbeat, but the girl I saw in front of me looked anything but upbeat.

"And where is Ron?" I asked, sitting down on the couch, a glass of fireswhiskey in my hand.

"He decided to stay at school with Harry and Hermione," Ginny answered. "They were doing some extra revision, or something. I didn't ask any questions, usually when those three are together they're planning something."

My heart leapt at the mention of Harry. I had been so happy to hear that Ron had become fast friends with the boy – it made me feel better knowing that the Weasley's had taken him in this summer. From what I understood, Petunia and Vernon had not been treating him well. I had lobbied the ministry since he was taken away from me, trying to get them to overturn their decision. For whatever reason, my petitions were blocked at every turn and in the end I had been issued a magical restraining order, forbidding me from trying to see him. If I got within even 100 feet of him, I would be propelled backwards. I couldn't even visit his house and check on him surreptitiously. It had been a mystery who had filed the restraining order, a mystery that Lewis and I had not been able to solve in eleven years. The file was sealed; meaning nothing we did could get us access to it.

I had decided that seeing him, regardless, would be too painful, both for him and me. He was bound to remind me of Lily and James, and I didn't want to confuse him by coming into his life eleven years too late, and illegally. Plus, I didn't need Hollyn asking questions yet, about how I had a godson and who his godfather was – and why he hadn't been in our lives until now. So, this summer I had taken Hollyn with me for the Quidditch season; Ellie had brought Maxwell as well, and Hollyn had spent most of her time babysitting baby Max, who had turned four this year.

As happy as I was that Hollyn was able to grow up with cousins and family, it broke my heart that Harry had not had the same opportunity. Any sense of family that the Weasleys could provide him was good in my books.

"Need a top-off?" Lewis asked me, joining us in the living room from the kitchen. Ellie was helping Molly with the baking, and I had been told to come entertain the children. He was holding a bottle of firewhiskey, and when I nodded, he filled my glass for me.

"Me too, Uncle Louie!" Fred was holding his own mug of hot chocolate out, George mirroring him exactly to his side.

"Nice try boys. Try again in three years," Lewis laughed, putting the firewhiskey back in the kitchen. He then sat down next to Max, who was playing with some blocks in the corner with Ginny.

I looked around at the family I had built over the last decade. It wasn't the life I had expected – I had envisioned holidays with the Potters, Harry running around, Sirius sitting with a glass of firewhiskey, teaching our kids how to fly. Remus and Peter were there, and Lewis and Dad. I had never been close with Arthur growing up, although we were cousins. I had always been closer to Aunt Thea, Uncle Leo, and their kids. They were still around, but both Lydia and Ralph had kids of their own now, so they spent holidays with their respective families. Hollyn knew her other cousins, but they weren't the same as the Weasleys. I sat down next to my daughter; content with the life I had built for her.

"I love you, Mom," Hollyn said sweetly, laying her head on my shoulder.

"I love you, Holly girl."

July 28th, 1993

I was humming to myself in the kitchen. It was a bright, sunny day, early in the morning. I had turned the radio on, and was listening to the sports recap from last night. Puddlemere was doing well this year, and were on pace to compete in the Quidditch World cup at the end of summer. After a fourteen-year career, I had decided to retire this season. Most of my original team had retired, being that they were all older than me. Ackerley had gone on to become a coach, and Ellie still did some training sessions with them, but she had retired as well when she had her second baby, Louisa, earlier this year. Wesley's son, Oliver, was a seventh year, and an arguably better Keeper than his father. Wes had committed to completing one more season, with the agreement that when he left, his son would be considered to replace him. Not that it mattered, as there were three or four other teams that were already scrambling to give him a spot on their team.

I had retired because I was tired of being away from Hollyn all of the time. She was going away to Hogwarts in a couple of months, and I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her before she left. Besides, all of the wear and tear on my body had started to take its toll.

At my last check-up with my dad, he had told me that while I was still healthy, the intense training was starting to affect my fertility. He told me that if I ever expected to have more children, I would need to slow down on the intense physical activity. It was probably premature of me to retire, based on the idea that maybe someday I might consider having another child, but having the option taken away from me freaked me out. I had always wanted more children, and I worried that I hadn't given Hollyn everything I could have by not having more children. She never complained, she had all of the Weasleys as her surrogate siblings, but I wondered if she every felt lonely being an only child.

I turned my attention back to the muffins I was baking, which were just ready to go into the oven. I was setting the table, when I heard the front door open. I turned, surprised. It was Arthur; he had a key to the apartment in case of emergency. He had never used it before.

"Hi, Arthur," I said hesitantly. I looked over my shoulder at Hollyn's room. "Hollyn is asleep…is everything alright?"

"No." He said without preamble. His usually carefree face was marred with worry. He looked absolutely panicked, and he was grasping a newspaper in his hands. His red hair was disheveled, and his robes were falling off his shoulders. "I think you should sit. I just came from work, this is going out in just a bit, but I wanted to show you first."

I sat on the edge of the couch, looking at him hesitantly, getting nervous. "Alright. What's going on?"

He didn't answer me, handing me the Daily Prophet in place of a response. I looked him in the eye for a minute, confused by what was going on. I glanced down at the newspaper, and gasped when I realized what I was looking at.

Staring up at me from the front page was Sirius Black, accompanying the headline "ESCAPE FROM AZKABAN."

END PART TWO.
