Welcome back. Midoriya's lessons have only begun and with new territory, there comes new feelings.

As the days went on, Midoriya had managed to make progress and gain more control over his muttering.

While he would make the occasional mistake, both Midoriya and Jiro were pleasantly surprised by his improvements.

"Jiro, I can't thank you enough." Midoriya said.

"It was nothing, you're the one who's willing to improve." Jiro said.

"Yeah, but thanks to you, when I'm writing down notes at lunch, people don't stop and stare at me or think that I'm crazy." Midoriya told her.

Jiro blushed as Midoriya continued to compliment her, since she wasn't used to such praise.

"Don't thank me just yet, you still have a lot to learn." Jiro said.

Jiro clearly wanted to shift the focus off of her, knowing that it was easy to do with Midoriya around.

At least, that's what she thought.

"I know, but I trust you." Midoriya said, with a small smile.

The blush on Jiro's face became more intense, as she was unsure of how to respond.

"Why am I feeling like this?" Jiro wondered.

"No one has ever been this honest with me or this close to me, but I shouldn't be reacting this way." Jiro thought.

Jiro managed to regain her composure, thankful that Izuku hadn't noticed.

"Well… I'm glad." Jiro said.

The next day.

Jiro contacted Midoriya and requested that he should meet up with her at the mall.

Unknown to him, she wouldn't be alone.

"I'm always up for hanging out with you over the weekend, but I'm surprised that you invited Midoriya." Mina said.

"It is rather curious." Yaoyorozu said.

"We just have a lot in common, we're more alike than you think." Jiro said, nervously.

Jiro had promised not to mention why Midoriya was interacting a lot more with her, lately.

As such, some things had come into question.

"Is that why you keep inviting him up to your room?" Toru asked, smugly.

Jiro cringed from the mere insinuation that Toru was making.

"It's not like that!" Jiro shouted.

"I'm just joking, I know that nothing is going on between the two of you." Toru said.

Jiro breathed a sigh of relief.

"Yet." Mina teased.

Jiro glared at Mina for a moment before shifting back to a pleasant expression when she saw Midoriya approaching them.

At first, Midoriya had been calm as he saw Jiro standing there, waiting for him to arrive.

As he got closer, he realized that she wasn't alone.

Toru, Mina and Yaoyorozu were also present.

"That's weird, she didn't tell me that we were hanging out as a group." Midoriya thought.

"Hey, I didn't say that out loud, these lessons are really paying off." Midoriya said.

"Who are you talking to?" Mina asked.

Midoriya suddenly realized that he had already joined them while he was busy thinking.

Midoriya looked down, embarrassed by his actions.

Jiro placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and leaned in to talk.

"Like I said before, you still have a lot to learn." Jiro whispered.

"Okay, but you could've told me that it wouldn't be just you and me." Midoriya whispered.

"Hey, you can go on ahead, I have to talk to Midoriya, we'll catch up with you." Jiro told them.

The three girls understood and went to go shopping, leaving Jiro and Midoriya alone.

"Sorry about that, but it's part of your next lesson." Jiro said.

"My next lesson?" Midoriya asked.

"That's right and your lesson for this time, is social interaction." Jiro said.

"I don't get it, I interact with people and I have friends." Midoriya pointed out.

"Answer this question and I'll let you go home." Jiro said.

Midoriya looked at Jiro, preparing himself for her question.

"Aside from Ochaco and Iida, who else do you actually hang out with in our class?" Jiro asked.

Midoriya went to answer, but found that no words came out.

"My point exactly." Jiro said.

"You've talked to us and we've been through a lot as a class, but you haven't really gotten to know us." Jiro pointed out.

Midoriya now understood why she had brought him along.

"That changes, today." Jiro said.

Midoriya reached his hand over to hers, which was still on his shoulder, smiling at her as he did so.

"I would love to know more about all of you, I've been so focused on everyone's quirks and techniques, I haven't really gotten a chance to know more about their personalities." Midoriya told her.

"Well then, now is your chance." Jiro said.

The two of them caught up with the others, who had just finished picking up sunblock.

"Sunblock… no, I forgot!" Jiro thought.

"Hey, so, what are all of you shopping for?" Midoriya asked.

Jiro nervously turned her glance towards Mina, who was smirking.

"We got permission to use the pool again and since Mineta didn't request to use it at the same time as us again, we can wear our own bathing suits." Mina said.

"Which means that since you're here, it's the perfect opportunity for you to give us your opinion, because we're buying them." Mina said.

Jiro sighed, regretting her decision to bring him along.

Meanwhile, Midoriya stood there, frozen for a good minute before he finally fainted.
