The longest fight
Noel asked for a oneshot of Emma and Rosie getting into a horrible fight. It's so bad that they don't see each other for weeks. Snowing and Killian finally bring them together by pretending Snowing is in danger.
Every day I'll post this wee add on in hopes the error is fixed, I have posed every day in May so far, but an error seems to be preventing folks from getting notifications. Please look back to see the other chapters!
"So I was thinking of inviting your sister round for dinner on Thursday…"
"I'll go out with Alex then." Rosie quickly responded. Snow and Charming looked at each, at a loss for what to do. Emma and Rosie hadn't been speaking to each other for going on three weeks now. It was getting ridiculous! They'd only left it this long in the hopes that the pair would make up, as they normally did. Well, apparently not this time. No matter what Snow or Charming tried, their daughters were being stubborn over this one and both were refusing to make the first move. Well, it was time to bring out the big guns. Charming went into the living room with his phone. He waited as it rang.
"Hello?"
"Hi Hook." Charming responded. "Have you had any joy with convincing Emma to talk to her sister?"
"No mate. She's not having any of it." Hook sighed down the phone. Charming thought as much.
"Ok. It's time we did something about this. Here's what Snow and I were thinking…"
A few days later, Rosie was home by herself. Neal was out with some of his friends and her parents had gone to pick up some dinner at Granny's. Her phone started ringing. She saw her mom's picture and picked it up.
"Fries, not onion rings." Rosie told her. That's normally why her mom would ring on a Granny's run.
"No sweetie, this isn't about your food." Snow answered. "There's been a blackout here, is there one at home?"
"No…" Rosie said. She looked out the window and saw lights from other houses on as well.
"Huh. Weird. Can you grab a torch and come meet us here? We might need some help at some point." Rosie heard a crash. "Yep, gonna need a hand here!" Suddenly, Snow hung up.
"Mom?!" Rosie shouted down the phone. No answer. She tried to call back, but she couldn't get a hold of her. Rosie grabbed a torch and quickly started heading for Granny's.
Sure enough, when she got there, Granny's was in complete darkness. Rosie quickly ran through the door.
"Mom?! Dad?!" She called out, waving her torch around. She tried to make out anything that might have fallen and made the crash, but she couldn't see anything obvious. She couldn't see another person at all. That was until a torch started being shown in her direction. Rosie groaned. She'd been set up. Emma was here.
"And neither of you are leaving until this gets sorted!" Charming called. Rosie thought they might have locked the door on them. That was playing dirty. The lights flickered back into life. At least there was that. Emma reluctantly perched herself against one of the countertops.
"I could always poof my way out of here!" Emma yelled.
"Oh we know that, but there will be drastic consequences if you do!" Charming warned her. Emma grimaced. Maybe she was best just to front this out. She sighed, looking at her little sister.
"There's no faking this. We're not getting out of here until we've made up." Emma warned her. Rosie shrugged, sitting in a booth far away from Emma.
"There's food and a bathroom." She grumbled. Emma rolled her eyes. She wasn't going to make this easy.
"Rosie, please just cut out the melodramatic teenager act for a few minutes." Emma snapped.
"I'm being melodramatic?!" Rosie shouted. "You're the one who screamed at me for something I didn't do!"
"What do you mean something you didn't do? Who else could have got all my good makeup brushes covered in bright blue eyeshadow?"
"Uh, how about Eira?" Rosie quipped back. "She took them, I just didn't snitch on her because she's just a baby." Emma was taken aback. When did her two-year-old find out where she stashed her makeup? Emma felt bad for automatically accusing Rosie. She hadn't even thought there was another possible culprit in the house at the time. She came over and sat opposite her sister.
"Maybe I was a little quick to assume." Emma admitted. "I'm sorry." Rosie shrugged, still looking down.
"It's ok." She responded quietly. Emma reached across the table and took her hand.
"It's not, I shouldn't have assumed it was you. Next time though, could you just tell me there and then that I'm wrong and that it was Eira? Just because she's little doesn't mean you take the rap for her." Rosie nodded, she guessed that was a fair point. She just didn't want Eira to get into trouble. Both sisters heard the door getting opened.
"Is it safe now?" Snow asked. Emma and Rosie both rolled their eyes in a similar manner.
"We've made up." Emma confirmed. Snow, followed by Charming and Killian, came into the diner.
"Finally." Charming sighed. He hoped never to see his girls have that bad an argument ever again.
